To everyone who is reading this. The Empire of North Mack has been blessed today. Our brightest scientist has accomplished something I thought I would never see in my lifetime.

FTL

Faster Than Light Travel. With no slowing of time, and a constant 1g of gravity the entire time. we believe...

unfortunatly, though we have the technology to do it, we do not have the funds. I myself have asked the Emperor for more funding, but he has told me we need a working prototype. To make a working prototype we need funding. to get funding... you see what im getting at here.

I have been authorized to ask for funding from any country that would help us. And nation that funds this would be privy to any and all the information they would need to create their own Casimir FTL Device, as we have been calling it, once it has been fully tested.

I am not allowed to release the full details now, as we do not want this technology to get out at the current point in time. But, to anyone who knows what the Casimir Effect is, IT WORKS!!!

ok, we no longer need funding. it turns out it only costs about $5 million to outfit a ship to travel warp 50, which is 50 times the speed of light. we will be selling FTL ships later.

features of Warp Drives:

constant 1g of gravity
Faster then Light travel without time slowing down
also functions as shields (no matter can pass into the warp bubble while it is up)
Can function as sublight engines also
power is derived from space-time itself. No generators or fuel!

So it takes you 356 days to travel 50 Ly?

My civilian traffic can do 80 Parsecs in a day.


Also, claiming to be able to travel FTL by tapping into the S-T Continnium might get you into trouble (See Temporal Accord Thread) with some of the Temporal Incursion Fleets. They are there to stop ST tampering and might view that as offensive.
