Half a million heavily armed warships burst into the Maru system in a blaze of fire. The sleek, powerful looking ships started firing on the vulnerable primary world as soon as they appeared, scarring the face of the planet, creating deep valleys and massive impact craters. Another world destroyed before life was given the chance to develop. Another planet fallen victim to the Daleks. The ships jumped out of the system again. The final ship fired a single fusion warhead at the planet before leaving. The powerful weapon blasted a sizeable chunk out of th small planetoid that used to be the only inhabitable object in the system, now a lifeless hunk of rock. A beacon was also left. It played a message to any ships capable of temporal or FTL travel moving through the system:

"WE ARE THE DALEKS! WE HAVE RETURNED! THE POWER OF THE DALEK WAR MACHINE WILL ONCE AGAIN TERRORISE THE UNIVERSE! AND THIS TIME, STAIRS ARE NO DEFENCE!IF YOU ARE WORTHY WE MAY CHOOSE TO ALLY WITH YOU! IF NOT, YOU WILL BE EX-TER-MIN-ATED!IF YOU WISH TO CONTACT US, MOVE TO THE SPACE STATION IN THE SYSTEM AT THE CLOSEST POINT TO THE CORE OF THIS GALAXY! EX-TER-MIN-ATE!"

OOC: This is definetly considered Godmoding. If you wish to be taken seriously, you should tone it way down and make it more realistic compared to your country and its economy, etc.

ooc:Don't worry, there is reasoning! One: there is no civilian population in the dalekrace, empire, whatever. Two: the daleks have a computing power of 1000,000,000,000,000,000,000 calculations per second. Crew requirements are therefore minimal One dalek can un most of a ship's operations. Three: my ships aren't uber. They are just Corvettes, but more dalek-ey. It all works out at 10 daleks per corvette. And this is mostly a joke. Hence 'STAIRS ARE NO DEFENCE!'.

OOC: Seriously, no nation has over 500 million ships whether they are Future Tech or Modern Tech. 500 million troops maby, but not ships.

Allemonde sends out a message to their Time Lord friend- "The Doctor" to eradicate the Dalek menace. Allemonde will send out 10,00 battle ships and 200,000 soldiers in the meantime to fight the Daleks.

Umm... Exactly how do the computers calulate that much? Unless you are FT, a MT computer couldn't handle that much. I think that Quantum Computers aren't even able to handle that much (correct me if I'm wrong)

Daleks = massively overpowered (I mean, WHY do they need a weapon that can suck a man's skin off, AND a weapon that can vapourise him, AND shield generation system?) alien killing machines which have been specially engineered over the course of several tens of centuries for the sole purpose of annihilating everything. And hell, this is FT and Doctor Who - anything is possible!

They are so cool.... The skin sucking thing...... Bleech. At least stairs haven't been a problem since the 80's. Nobody ever notices that.

ooc: There is no theoretical limit to the speed of a computer except the speed of light. The technical limiting factors are quality of programming, type of file tree, type of memory, processing bits, et cetera. If these factors are optimized, then you can process quite a bit. Think of what someone would have said in the 60s if you told them that you would have a Palm Pilot or a home computer capable of rendering 3D images? They would have laughed so hard they'd hurt themselves.

OOC: The origianal series ran from 1963-1989 about 26 years until a stupid BBC executive who hated the show decided to cancel it. It generalally dealt with sci-fi themes but also had alot of historical, political, social and horror themes. Most agree that the Tom Baker years were the best and u need to see two of my fav episodes:

Talons of Weing-Chaing: The doctor battles a ancient chinese god and his mingions of chinese mobsters. (Watch out though for the murderous Peking Humoncorus.)

Pyramids of Mars: The docotr battle an acient evil trapped in a pyramid. Very scary episode especally the main villian Sutekh who is a combo of the ancient Egyptain gods Seth and Sektmet.

State of Decay: Doctor fights space vampires on a technological backward planet. Seems weird cause there was also a british flick about space vampires.

Kinda: Doctor fights the Mara(a Buddhist demon or evil harmful act) who takes over a body of his compainion.

Can't wait to see the new ones though!!
