Press Release by the Ministry of the Imperial Household

Today it was announced by the palace that His Imperial Highness Hiro no Miya Norihito-Shinno Kotaishi (translation: H.I.H. Prince Norihito of Tisopea, Crown Prince, officially titled "The Prince Hiro") will finally marry. The Crown Prince is twenty-five and there has been much frustration over the choice for a perspective bride. The choice finally fell upon the daughter of the high ranking civil servant Prince Kujo, who's daughter, Lady Kujo no Yokako, was selected. Lady Yokako is of high birth for uncounted generations and seven years His Imperial Highness's junior.

The Emperor was greatly pleased with the decision, saying he hoped "that the Lady Yokako was greatly pleased as well."

With the engagment's announcement, wedding plans are underway as we speak.

The Wedding Date is set for tommorrow. Security, will of course, be tight. Not only are you free to bring as many body guards (within reason) as you like, but there will also be well over a thousand members of the Emperor's Guard protecting the palace.

Now, to everybody that has expressed there wishes to attend, does anyone have an objection to staying the Imperial Palace of Syoto?

It is a great complex of shrines, palaces, and residences all surrounded by a gardens, and bordred by a great wall that keeps the rest of the city away. Don't worry, there's plenty of room.

If anyone objects to such quarters, the Minister of Foreign Affairs would be glad to lodge perticipants at the famous Hotel Tsuki, which is the most expensive hotel in the nation, and which contains a sweeping view of the city.
