Some time ago me and Sarzonia both wrote an RP about the struggle for freedom in Theohuanacu. A major war in the region of Imperial Armies is something me and Macabees discussed a couple of times and I think it has the potential of a great RP. I don't know exactly what the motive to start such a major war is, but we'll find out. There are some things you must have read before you sign up, because those are really important parts of the story. Main thing is: it involves major nations.

Ravaged by war and plunderers, the nation is now fighting to preserve the last bits of their once great nation from rogues and freebooters from Holy Panooly and Guffingford. Corrupt naval captains rule the waters around Theohuanacu, and pirates plague international shipping.

These threads are very important, so please read them. The Sea Strait of Lapincuta is a very important waterway that connects the East Pacific with the West Pacific (not the regions, just the two parts of the ocean).

Note: If you can only say puppetwanker then I suggest you to go someplace else. Puppetwanking means you use the population, GDP or military from a puppet of yours to gain a significant advantage in battle. Not to say SuDiablo is a poor roleplayer but what he did was puppetwanking. Writing a story using puppet nations as part of it, isn't.

This is serious RP. So that means 1-10 line replies are a no-go zone. Make it worth to read, add detail. Don't be straightforward in your posts. Thanks.

Remember, this is very much gonna be a WW2 Pacific kind of battle. Naval warfare, aircraft carriers, coastal fortresses and some inland battles are the main scenes of battle.

2.) Will you be using Holy Panooly's resources as part of Guffingford's?1) If the majority says no, than no it shall be. I don't think any regional member likes nuking his neighbor. This is realistic, if regional nation A is nuked than B, C and D will be affected by the nuclear particles in the sky. IF we decide to allow NBC's.
2) Nope, Holy Panooly has its own problems and they can barely support themselves, nor can they wage war. Theohuanacu and HP are both anarchies. I'll add the entry of HP in WW1, WW2 and post-WW2 happenings. That'll explain why the nation is so chaotic.

Whare do i sign in?

Regarding nuclear warheads, I believe that if a nation of the role play get's pressed against a wall then nuclear weapons should be a realistic option. However, I'm not proposing megaton nuclear warheads flashing around, but instead something like in Larry Bond's Cauldron, with single launchings of 2kt anti-shipping missiles and such. Of course, shooting them down and not taking losses would be prime, and I wouldn't complain, but it would add some spice into the role play, especially when I write up the Modern War Study on it afterwards. And above all it's realistic. But like Guffingford said, I rather not nuke my neighbor.

Having sides is also important, with which you stick through the war. You know, the dogpiles aren't really fun when you aren't on the dogpiling side, but rather on the dogpiled. This RP has the potential of becoming a great one so keep it clean from OOC chatter.

Sounds fun, count me in.

Do-gooders...hmm, that's me in a word. As a few of my allies are already participating, I'd like to join in. I probably won't senda massive force, but definatly I will particpate.

I might be inclined to get involved, but only a small part because I have other RP's in the making. If they fail then I would take a more active role in it. I would like to be involved in some way towards the allies side of the conflict. Thank you.

Oh. If anybody has any ideas as to how I can help than that would be cool.

Well I added IH anyway, kind of. And another thing, this is not to bash MP but his übercarrier is a bit too... Much. It's not realistic. I don't have problems with Prae and Sarzo's dreadnaughts because they're within reason and realism and have a very documented basis. And remember: none of these ships are indestructible.
