As of today the Shenyang military has finally found a sound alternative to the Tomahawk missile for long range precision strikes. The BGM-140 Katana cruise missile. The Katana is technologically superior to the Tomahawk in almost everyway imaginable, it is more accurate, faster, more powerful, cheaper, though only marginally, and easier to produce. In keeping with Shenyang's policy of Weapons of Pinpoint Destruction, or WPDs this weapon is not designed to accept a nuclear, chemical, or biological warhead, only a conventional warhead is sold. While we discourage the creation of a nuclear warhead for the Katana, once they are purchased we don't have any control over what you do to them. The missile uses a solid fuel booster for launch and a turbojet engine to reach the target area and perform evasive manuevers.

In addition to the given land attack capability the Katana has an anti-ship capability, it can be air-launched, or launched from a modified VLS unit, plans for the VLS come standard with the missiles. Programmable error ratioes make area bombardment as easy as ordering a single target strike. All features are added at no extra charge.
