Looking to Buy Missiles

North Mack

From the Desk of Emperor James II

To any country with the capabilities:
Due to the recent war efforts in the Empire of North Mack, I am looking to buy any missiles capable of being launched from a fortified underground base, and reaching into space. These missiles must be capable of taking out a medium sized orbital weapons platform. Name your price. Will continue buying missiles from nation with best offer until The Empire had its own Space Defence System.

Green Sun will sell you our weaker Archers for $5 mil each. It'll reach out and touch someone, but you need a few of them to smack 'em.

If you could please send a full report on the capabilities of these missiles, i will consider buying them. please keep in mind you are the first to offer to sell to us. that is a big plus for you.

Well, these missiles are liek our basic Archer missiles, but since we really don't trust younger or stanger nations with our tech, we're offering you a downgraded version of our Archers. Regular Archers cause the devastation of twice of Hiroshima, Napalm Archers add fire, but our light Arcehrs do a smaller amount of damage (Think the nukes in CnC:G where you do a buttload of damage to buildings in a small area but useless if they're spread out.)

The missiles can go just about anywhere if you fill them with enough fuel. No radiation, no lawsuit, no international turning against you, just a really big boom. And fire. Lots of fire.

thank you, i will take this all into consideration. As a new country, we try to develop our own weapons, but this time our enemy got too far ahead of us. we truly appreciate the offer.

Anything to help without becoming directly involved. Just remember if they want to buy from us, we'll sell them to them.

i do understand this. however, the reason we need these are because they have an orbital weapons platform and we do not. they have no need to fire into space.

OOC: Trust me, at 7 million they don't have orbital platforms. You hardly have the cash to buy these missiles.
North Mack

both their and my nations have only 7 million in the Homelands, but we both have three additional countries under our control with approx 5 million citizens each. and i did not say that the wepons platforms were good, just enough to threaton my ground troops.

ooc: That's puppet wanking which is ignored by many, including myself. I do not recognize these nations at all.
North Mack

that does not matter as my enemy and me recognize each others satalite country and i do have enough to but some missiles.

Vastiva will sell you the control codes for one (1) of it's SUNSPOT satellites for five million USD.

These are the earlier edition of our current PANDORAS BOX anti-ICBM satellites. They utilize a particle beam weapon powered by solar-batteries to thermally destroy ICBMs before they re-enter the atmosphere.

Used against a space platform, they are rather effective killing machines.

i might buy that. it would bring the Empire closer to having a full space defence system.

The plans for the SUNSPOT - minus proprietary technologies - will run you five hundred million USD, including two CAD/CAM manufacturing units to turn out the computer and related parts cheaply and efficiently (they come with five year warrantees and service agreements).

since its a particle beam weapon, it can be used an almost unlimited amount of times, correct?

since its a particle beam weapon, it can be used an almost unlimited amount of times, correct?

OOC: Yes. As it charges from solar power and the solar wind, it's ammunition source is replentished daily through collection vents. The practical limitation on the satellite is 1000 firings, as the firing tube and machinery will require maintenance beyond the capability of onboard machinery at that time, due to wear and tear. The satellites batteries hold nine minutes of firing capacity, with five to fifteen seconds being sufficient to obliterate a missile of most designs. Firing for the full nine minutes on a target (such as a platform) will cause plenty of damage, but will also cause thermal fatigue to the projectors and firing tubes (reducing practical lifespan).

In other words - fire, wait for it to cool, fire, wait for it to cool. A cycle is approximately two to four minutes, depending on whether the SUNSPOT is in direct sun, or in planetary shadow.

At this time, Vastiva used it's SUNSPOT satellites a total of twice, so you can assume 900+ firings remain in the lifespan of the gear. We make no guarantees about impacts from the crap in orbit, however.

thank you. this seems to be a very good deal. 500 million was the cost, right?

OOC: We should also mention, at this time, the fuel in all SUNSPOTs was refreshed two years ago, giving full maneuverability for the time being. This concerns the ability of the satellite to refocus on a target - to "turn and move". These do require routine refilling every ten years or so, depending on use - we didn't move them around much, so did not use fuel. The more you have to move them, the sooner you have to refill them. As this fuel is little more then supercooled ice, it is relatively simple as a proceedure. Getting it there, that's the fun part.

505 million for one operational satellite, two CAD/CAM manufacturing plants, and full plans for making more SUNSPOTs, minus proprietary devices (these really should not affect you, as anything "missing", you can add your own designs rather simply, and you do not need our security or IFF devices).

thank you. this seems to be the best deal so far
