It has become clear to the government of Stevid and to a great many nations the Feline Catfish has caused a great deal of polictical and military unrest in the international community. Under the current situation we have almost 70 nations setting up treaties and seperate alliances dedicated to either peace, the destruction or protection of FC.

Many nations can see on the horizon a new World War beckoning and in this modern world it will cost millions of of lives. Stevid hereby declares full neutrality and will not support anyside that promotes any view. If war breaks out we will send supplies to those who ask for them but troops and armour will not be provided.

We hope that a peaceful resolution can be found and the HMS Hampshire (Vanguard SSBN) will remain in an undisclosed location in International Waters and will continue reviewing FC and any activity within their waters. (The Admiralty accepts 50 NM but not 100NM, the Admiralty sees this as unlawful expansion).

Ollieland would also like to state its intentions to remain fully neutral in any major conflict involving Feline Catfish. As an avowed anti-nuclear nation (we hold no nuclear, thermo-nuclear or atomic weaponry) we deplore Feline Catfish's use of nulear devices, but we also recognize the needs of a small soveriegn nation to defend itself in an uncertain and hostile world.

We have no interests in seeing the destruction of Feline Catfish, or any nation, and hope that this whole matter can be resolved as peacefully and as speedily as possible. We offer any diplomatic/mediation assisstance possible to any nation involved.

ooc: This could turn out to be a decent host thread. If anyone wishes to declare neutrality or full neutrality for the possible upcoming war (Which could easily turn into an NS world war), post here and make yourselfs heard.

ic: Stevid is now opposing FC's 100nm claim which could bring us into the conflict but we intend to stay neutral unless we have to turn hostile towrds FC (which is what we are tring to avoid).
