Eight on the first page, and four out of the top four. Ridiculous.

*Shakes head* Not a noob. Extreme, but still, his policies were very very clear.

And he did acquire the weapons legally.

So what? In his first attack he used two hundred nukes. Who cares how he types? Who cares if his attack is twenty lines or two? Everybody sheltering him won't teach him how to RP.

Dogpiling does not solve this RP issue. In fact, it only makes the problem WORSE! The player being dogpiled aganist would very likely resort to god-modding to spite the dogpile. Look at Hataria for example, one person you have been trying to support.

If you are receptive and friendly to the player OOC'ly, and possibly IC'ly, then it would be far easier to convince him / her to improve RP skills.

Take Welsh Sheep Unite for example. He was using smilies in his RP posts like these :sniper: :mp5: ones. I explained to him that he shouldn't do it, and he hasn't been using these smilies in his RP posts since that point.

If I was like "IGNORED!!!!!!" or "STFU n00b!" aganist Welsh Sheep Unite for that, he would be far less likely to change his ways. He would still use the smilies and crap in defiance.

And he admitted it was overzealous.

But the facts cannot be changed. He wanted to get rid of a fleet that was incurring, probably had Anti-munitions, and fighter support... Which then managed to intercept a whopping 99.5 percent of those cruise missiles...

Hells, I dunno.

Sure, it was tres stupid.

But it comes back to him WARNING those nations NOT to do exactly what they did.

Couple of tips:

2) Don't use nukes as a first resort. Imagine you were leader of a real nation. Would you launch two hundred nukes? Imagine two hundred Hiroshima's and Nagasaki's, except worse because of modern technology being more advanced. I know in this game, its just ten million, the people don't get deducted from your population or anything, you don't see the results of an attack. But imagine its RL, that'll make your RPing as realistic as possible, and you'll realise what damage that kind of thing does.

I don't know, given the size of the fleet that was sent, I think he had a reasonable fear of being overrun, then invaded and turned into either a colony, or a prison yard. (not much difference from the native perspective.)
Nuking the fleet (which probably had more ground troops than his entire military combined) seems pretty much a reasonable action-the fact that 99.5% of the delivery vehicles were shot down, that's a pretty damn big fleet with that many missiles involved. In RL, if a nation is facing those kind of odds, it's going to use what it has to to survive long enough for either help to arrive, or for no-help to be apparent.

Feline Catfish got the nukes 'legally' (retail, from a discounter), he didn't have to develop them himself.
He used the Nukes for their ostensible purpose-to forestall an invasion and make himself an unpleasant meal.
He used them on a massive fleet that looked (by sheer numbers alone) to be the first wave of an invasion/destruction force, and did it with ample warnings beforehand.

Yeah I know that (despite everyone's beliefs, I'm not actually thick) but when it's a choice between damaging my fisheries, losing some people in coastal cities etc and being turned into a colony, which you you choose (I would actually like an answer, not just from you but from everyone who has criticised me)?

Nanites are god-mod, because you can practically make anything and destroy anything with them.

Whats more, nanites would be like 2300 A.D. tech or beyond, and we're RP'ing a 2000 - 2010 AD era here.

If you think about it this isn't our fault. We just reacted the way we thought was right. Even if FC got the weapons legally, he was still hostile in the way he asked for them. I think I offered him alternatives to the weapons. If one nation acted like thet, they would piss someone off and if they used the weapons they would be dogpiled on.
