My advice for war: Make your maps.

we have 7 million currently in our home nation. we also have 5 million each the three nations under our control. and aproximatley 4/8 of our population is on active, conscripted military duty, with an additional 2/8 on reserve.

your advice to make maps is noted.

OOC: That's godmodding so many people won't recognize it. Even at 14 mil, the biggest military percent of a population I've ever seen is 20%, which is absolutely huge. I suggest 2-5%. And it won't grow over days for a war.

There's no way you could maintain an active military that large, even at the height of its military power, less than 5% of the USSR was in the military, and maintaining a military that size was one of the reasons it failed, at most a new nation can maintain about 2 or three percent but they will not be well armed or trained. Also, you don't have any nations with pops of 5mil, you start with a population of 6mil, also, don't puppet wank (use multiple nations you created to act as one super nation) b/c most people will just ignore you and it really doesn't do much for the value of the game.

1: my nation has many large multi-national coorperations that are helping fund the military budget, as if this war is lost, they lost too. (Kyp78952 has outlawed large coorperations)

2: i did not say my troops were well trained, i just said i had them. our most advanced technology is the Mark III HoverTank, which was designed at home, and the Falcon V Bombers, which were bought.

3: both me and kyp know each other in RL, and have agreed to recognize the satalite countries in this conflict, so that is moot.

OoC: [size=1]Jesus fucking Christ, you lot are the reason so many people leave NS (With the possible exception of GS, who was being rather nice to the young 'uns). The first time I got on NS, it was RPing a rather n00bish war with Hogsweat (yes, he was a newb once as well) and we were attacking someone who wouldn't fight back (e.g didn't post) and while it was crappy and all, I had an alright time doing it, I loved it.

Except for one thing: the veterans, the pompous, know-it-all veterans trotting on screaming "grabs popcorn" or "JESUS CHRIST MAN! TOO MANY SOLDIERS! JESUS! GODMOD GODMOD!" and I had no idea at the time what I did wrong.

No, I didn't get better because of the screaming and ranting, I got better by watching and learning, slowly progressing to my current level of RP which I'm quite happy about but want to improve.

Bottom line is: SHADDUP!

Yelling and bullying the newbies (non-offensive slang; means new person) only puts them off NS and we therefore lose another potential RPer.

OOC: Green Sun has two large corporations and many small buisnesses. We depend on UziCorp for most of our military needs. UziCorp became large when we reached 500, and you're still at 7 mil. Please rethink what you're doing. You don't have large corporations, you don't have 14 million fighters, just a handful of militias with Greaseguns. Both of you. I've decided that I'm only going to sell you up to four of those missiles (12 mil)

ans for the cooperations, Mack used 2 be a unified country, very massive. there was a civil war, and eventually North Mack came out on top. (east, south, and west are the sattalite nations) most of the population was killed in massive nuclear/biological attacks, and the whole area was set back about 400 years. the cooperations remained from before the war.
