Mission Statement of C.A.P.

The mission statement of the Coalition of Anti-Terrorist Powers is to root out all terrorist supporting and harboring nations and destroy or bring to justice all known terrorist individuals, groups, organizations, and nations. The members of CAP will achieve these ends using any and all means necessary, using military force as a last resort. The members of CAP pledge their support to the idea of maintaining international peace and security by bringing all known terrorists to justice using all available means necessary.

No dues have to be paid to the alliance since it is not an economic alliance. What do nations get and what is the incentive for joining CAP? A sound piece of mind and the knowledge that you are helping nations world wide, and protectging the lives of innocent men, women, and children around the world. If your nation does not have terrorists in it (you can never know if your nation has terrorists in it or not, theres no way to know), then the incentive for joining is that you have added assurance that you can keep the terrorists out. This alliance has been created to save lives, not give the members bonus advantages and incentives.

Firstly: CAP defines terrorist groups, individuals, and/or nations as entities that fund, support, and/or deliberatly plan and carry out destructive attacks against innocent men, women, and children, with the intent of killing or instilling fear into the minds and heart of the people to bring about a change and/or to further their cause, whatever it may be.

Secondly: Destroy and/or bring to justice. Whichever comes first. Who makes the decisions? The alliance as a whole, unified body. And no one said anything about destroying nations for bringing terrorists to justice. If they openly support and openly invite them into their nation, then that is bounds for actions being taken, whether it be diplomatic/political or military, depending on the type of terrorist threat that is presented.

Thirdly: It is our belief that all nations have terrorists, whether they be domestic terrorists who harm others because they are pushed too far, or terrorists that kill to further a cause (example: Islamic and Arab terrorists).

Fourthly: Id rather not anser that question, mainly because its quite silly, but to set the record straight, of course we wouldnt go against our own allies unless they were found to be harboring, supporting, or funding terrorists. No we would not kill our own people unless they were terroists. To even suggest or think that we would kill our own people just to kill them is appaling and quite insulting.

Emperor Alexander read for the third time the last report from the Imperial Security Service. Terrorist cells in his own backyard, gathering funds and laundering money for operations in other countries. It was unthinkable and he will have none of that. He looked up to the ISS officer in front of him.

`The ISS should`ve seen this earlier captain. We have to deal with these cells and prevent others on joining in the future. As soon as we have enough evidence to support the terrorist activities, take them down. I want them arrested and trialed to the full extent of the law. In the mean time, intensify the search for terrorists, and select a team to form The Counter-terrorist Task Force. The CTF will take care of these types of criminal activities from now on. Dismissed.`

Flightopia- Being a relatively new nation on the international scene, your nation's efforts to curb terrorism cannot be traced back in history. This is not to say that your nation wont be admitted into the CAP, however, what can your nation contrinute to the efforts of this allied organization?

Well, my nation can produce arms, veacles, and nuculear products and sell them for a low price to any memeber nation. Also my airforce is a very good one. We can provide air support for supplies, recon , or atacks. Also, my region is a terrorist free area for any nation to either move, or get supplies from.

OOC: As a June 05 nation, your a bit too young to be able to produce and sell nuclear weapons, let alone support them

The Democratic Republic of Halberdgardia has repeatedly faced threats from the terrorist organization of Global Jihad. We have been fortunate in that they have not yet killed on a mass scale, but we now realize that we cannot face them, and other terrorist organizations like them, alone. We also realize that we cannot achieve our goal of ridding the world of terrorists alone. Therefore, we peitition for membership in the Coalition of Anti-Terrorist Powers, hoping that we can work together to eliminate this scourge from the world.

Message: We are a relatively new nation on the international scene. However, we are more than willing to be of any help required of CAP members. We are very eager to learn and be of assistance to other CAP members. While we do not have the industries as of yet to mass produce numerous forces or material, we offer what we have of our continuously changing and upgrading military. If you do not find us worth anything else, we can be your foot soldiers, trained to take the fight to the terrorist in their hideouts, or the spies who find out the location of terrorist bases. All we ask is that you consider our resolve to help stop this abnormal and abysmal behavior.
