Statement from the Department of Defence, Oliver City, The Colony of Ollieland.

Military excercises will start at 9pm GMT on Saturday April 30th (RL). The excercise will be a simulated coastal assault and defence. The assault will be codenamed Operation Hammer, and the defence will be codenamed Operation Anvil. Hammer forces will be drawn from the Colonial Navy and the Colonial Marine Corps, Anvil forces will be drawn from the Colonial Air Force, the Colonial Coast Guard and the Army.The Colonial Governors Guard and the Civil Guard will act as umpires. Observers have been invited form the following nations, whom are either former operational partners (OOC people I've RPed with before) or military suppliers.

OOC - Could all those sending observers please RP their arrival before the commencement of operations, detailing how many, their names, positions and which part of the excercises they would be most interested in observing.

The Empire, is at this point unable to send any military observers due to its high state of mobilisation requiring every able body to stand in the defence of its territories.

However, should you have a slight amount of patience in this matter, we can divert an officer of the Farmina Combined Defence Force towards your nation.
We should be able to do this in a few days.

Operation Hammer vs Anvil will consist of a simulated coastal assault by Colonial Navy and Colonial Marine Corps forces. The area will be defended by forces from the Colonial Air Force, Colonial Coast Guard and the Army of Ollieland. The area designated for this operation will be the Great Green River delta on the east coast. "Hammer" objectives will be the successful landing of sizable numbers of troops and the capture of two ports (La Truche and Effete), an airfield (Pruchelle) and an inland town (Wiekjaak). "Anvil" will try to prevent this.
