THIS IS ALL TOP SECRET, unless i say you know something, you dont
"All right, let's go."
The Sultan's words were to reverberate around the Middle East for a long time. Operation GRAND MARCH, originally the plan for a counter-attack during the aborted Soviet invasion, had been tweaked and changed, expanded into its current form. What began as a naval expidition and Special Forces strikes into Arabia had grown into a full fledged military mobilitzation.
In the Gulf, ships were busy, carrying troops to their planned dropoff point, ready to begin the March. Another fleet sailed out of Madras, ready to make their attack, and cover the Arabian fleet, protecting it from enemies in the Pacific. Sicily was abuzz as well, with ships sailing towards the Suez.
The Airforce had been busy as well, Moving troops back and forth, preparing to strike. Soon their first step would begin.
In Bahrain, two flights, a total of 10 C-130 planes, were preparing for takeoff. They carried pamphlets speaking out against Communism, urging the people to rise up against thier government and be part of something better. the pamphlets also contained symbols of goodwill, food, water, copies of the Koran, and Elephanti Dinars were to be distributed. If they were shot down, it would be an act of war. the defense ministry planned to clear their hands of any responsibility, this was not an attack, this was one country providing humanitarian aid to another. Surely no leader would shoot down planes sent to aid his people.
In the foreign minstry, workers were ready to inform select world leaders as soon as the planes began distributing leaflets.
