SOVIET RED ARMY PRESS STATEMENT
"We see fit the need to station an army group there... for reasons of Felinian Catfish National Sovereignty. We have noticed FC is a rather internationally unpopular nation, although being defended by some of the most powerful countries on this Earth. We feel that it would be in the best interests of the Feline People to have forces in FC to help deter any invasion and also to defend [feline catfish] if it [invasion] happens.
SOVIET GOVERNMENT STATEMENT
The Union of Soviet Socialist Hogsweatian Republics requests formally to station Task Force: Feline Sovereignty in the nation of Feline Catfish. Herein we have a detailed list of all forces that we would like to deploy for a signed duration of 45 years in Feline Catfish.

We would plan to make 2 bases named AIRBASE: PENDULUM and GROUND BASE: WARCRAFT in Feline Catfish for this operation. We would transport equipment and soldiers by air and also logistically supply them by air. We will fund construction and logistical problems.
