24,000 K-Clicks Out Of Jupiter's Atmosphere:
A large space firgate hovered silently outside of Jupiter's atmosphere. Void of all visable life, the derelict craft remained silent. No wurr of the trinity-ore hyperdrive kicking on, no secondary thrusters actiating, and no electrical output. The ship had been lost for atleast three months, gone astray from a mining operation that lead from Pluto's eccentric orbital path, past Neptune, Uranus, and finally leading them to the asteroid belt. However, something occured, seemingly stopping them in the last leg of their path. Gaseous tendrils gently whirled around the spires of the ore rig. Small pockets of gas would erupt around the peaks of the spires, indicating some form of carbon life within the spacial tomb...

Suddenly, the floating tomb began to spurr to life. Eletrical circiutry clicked on within the ships core, powering the telecommunications systems. Within moments, a transmission was sent from the large frigate:

"Hello, this is the (*crackling..*) Horizon Omar commercial space frigate. I'm

The transmission was released across the galaxy, seemingly as a distress signal. The semi-corrupted file did not entail exactly what had happened, only that something had gotten its way onto the Horizon.

Once the transmission was sent, the Horizon slowly shutdown, thermal readings dying off the charts, radiation lacking, and the electrical systems shutting off. What is - or was - the fate of the crew of the Horizon?...

Warning warning distress signal detected, signal origin point 347 kilometers from current position, advise? Y/N

The message flashed across the primary screen of a patrol carrier (retired from active duty due to defective compressed space generator) not far from the Omar frigate. According to standard protocol, patrols were to respond to any distress signals within set patrol route. Commodore Kytu Re grunted, more damn paperwork. The rusting frigate sped ahead, intending to arrive at the beacons origin point within the hour.

It was to be a quick run to the smuggler's dive in at "Mars." An easy operation, in and out. The Traders didn't want anything else but to complete the transaction. Of course, complications occured, as Mars did not return any transmissions The Arane tradeship was to make a quick incursion, only to make sure that their resources remained in Mars and the transaction would be completed. The Omar Traders across the galaxy were on extreme edge because of the War with the Sebecean Imperium. They didn't want any more complications. But of course, some appeared to make this trip on this backwater sytstem even more wasteful of time. A transmission was received and decrypted. It was Omar technology. Omar decryption. It must have been a distress signal.

The Omar complied. They were then advised by their Coordinator that it would be in their interests to recover the frigate. The Omar would require it in later operations. The course was set. After getting the coordinates from the trackers on the frigate, they blasted off to Jupiter, closing in and already within the vincity, swinging around the Jupiter gravity well towards their target.

Cultivator T'Yaen guided the smallish fungal growth ship, named T'olla'kr, towards the incoming beam of jabbering loud whining. He covered his ears feeling T'olla'kr wince in slight annoyance at the straight mechanical signals. Whatever it was they probably weren't going to be able to save it. T'Yaen and his good friend, the ship he resided in, turned away from the sound taking it back to the cultivation nest.

At T'hra'ret, the major fungal growth cultivation nest in this smallish establishment beyond the Yuuli homeworld, was a buzzing with news of this distress signal. Warmaster Y'Osdra'yek was coming with the Y'Ghan Hordes and Elder S'thinn has authorized farther investigation of this anomaly.

Warmaster Y'Osdra'yek was massive. So great that the Y'Ghan Hordes could fit inside him easily standing full carapace and all laying down too. Warmaster Y'Osdra'yek was both ship and captain. A mixture of the two personalities that had both taken a combined name. The red fungus that covered the exterior of their ship vibrated at a low tone. It was a gigantic mind that was controlled by Y'Osdra'yek. It carried messages to the Yuuli Republican Empire and received them as well. For a moment the fungus vibrated louder sending a massive signal at the ship ahead. Plying it for more information before they took action.........

As the Omar cruiser and Traileric patrol craft neared the Horizon, sensors began to activate uboard the Omar frigate. Atop the spires of the ore mining systems, lights began to activate. Carmine hued florescent lights kicked on, sending a bright flashing hued across the area.

Detection systems aboard the Horizon began to activate. As the ships drew near, the hull of the Horizon drew into the picture. Across the percieved bow of the ship, a thick, viscosity lacking semi-solid coated the metallic ship.

As the Yuuli ship began to transmit the abnormal signal, the bridge within the Horizon lit up vibrantly - yet lacked any persons. The systems rapidlt began to activate. Ports on the outside of the ship opened, allowing for long, thin, cyliner shaped extremities to extend form. Atop this abnormal spires, a yellow hued aura began to grow. Abruptly, a transmitted signal fed across all comm-links:

>Ship Defensive Systems Active...
>Targetting -Yuuli- Craft...
>Disruptor Cannons At Maximum Potention...
>> /command/
>Insert Command...
>> fre DC; 1, 9, 13, 14
>Firing Disruptor Cannons...

With the fateful tone, the growing auras burst, releasing a holocaust of incinerating plumes of electronic energy, all seemingly concentrated on the Yuuli vessel.

The cannons continued to release - with deadly accuracy - the torrential raining of beams down upon the vast vessel, leaving the docking bays open to the Omar and Traileric vessels...

The Trader Ship swung under the ship and hailed it.

Attention Omar ship,

The Diplomat orders that you cease and desist, and state your purpose.
If you do not comply, investigation will be forced. Action for Omar
Adaptation.Conquest.Survival will commence.

Warmaster Y'Osdra'yek paused for a moment seeing the beams with a million eyes. The moment after it began making calculations up and down itself. After a quick burst to Elder S'Thinn it turned to face the storm ahead face on.

The sky lit up as Warmaster Y'Osdra'yek felt much of the fungus ripped from their collective bodies. Eyes flashed in pain as the Warmaster moved their left arm a twitch. Natural enzymes that melted all metals were launched with astounding speed inside of seed like coatings at the ship. Breaking apart they seeped into the Horizon's metallic shell and began eating through it. Organic combustants were combined and launched in quick succesion. Flames hotter than the sun streaked at the Horizon.

The Y'Ghan Hordes moved into formations awaiting their dispersal onto the ship. Many made sure their bladders were full and that their combustant producing glands were receiving enough nutrition. Cuticle spikes pokes easily through fresh carapace in the places that they were needed. All in all the Y'Ghan Hordes were ready for battle of epic proportions. The Warmaster Y'Osdra'yek although injured moved quickly towards the Horizon. Awaiting the chance to unload its passengers.

As the Omar ship hailed it and the Yuuli enzymes, the disrupters deactivated, and quickly melted away into a semi-solid, grey, metallic slime that ran against the natural ridges of the metal.

The docking bays beneath the ship opened up, allowing for quick access into the craft, almost welcoming them...

The Omar ship quickly slid into the docking bay and landed the arachnid like ship safely in the bay, and through the tale exit point a small team of a technician, two protectors, and a coordinator came out and mobilized outside the ship. They examined their surroundings, keeping alert up as the technician adapted their suits to fit the environment comfortably.
