"Isn't it wonderful how nations who think they're powerful enough to force their will unto others get stomped into the ground by a force they forgot to take into account? Well, we all see the nation Makaar who is desperately trying to maintain an illegal blockade to prevent a nation known as Feline Catfish from obtaining or producing nuclear weapons. Well, to put it this way: we do not care about your nation as long as you continue to show disrespect for national sovereignity, disregarding national waters and continuing to attack ports illegally. So, we hereby issue a small statement, and kindly ask you to pull out, and sign an unconditional surrender and stand down at once. If you refuse, then, well. You leave us no choice but to annihilate your nation. We have already mobilized 50% of our army so don't push your luck, test our patience or anything else to annoy us."

As a nation who has suffered under the attacks from Makaar we second Guffingford. We have already declared partial war on Makaar for his illegal bombing of a port in FC which destroyed eight of our naval vessels. We will declare full war at Makaar and attack him until he is destroyed unless he stops the illegal blockade and attacks. If he even attempts to fire on our auxiliary fleet vessels which are supplying FC and our navy with food and natural gas we will also declare full war on him and appeal for others such as Guffingford to side with us. This illegal blockade and disrespect for a nations sovereignty has gone on long enough.

Also as posted previously there was an election in NES today and the Socialist Party was replaced by the Conservative Party. The Conservatives have pledged to take a tougher stance on the illegal blockade!

Hot off the press! Guffingford has declared war on the rogue nation known as Makaar! They have not responded to our most humble and reasonable demands, so the time has come for swift action. No more senseless babbling, the clattering arms is the only language the scum from Makaar understands. We have sent our Southern Captain navy to Makaar, while the Northern Captain is recovering from the Tocrowkian attack, Guffingford looks for new oppertunities to spread freedom. Their dictatorial land must be liberated from the oppressive fist stomping on the human spirit, and we will aid the people there. Makaar, though they have not made themselves known to the international stage, we know, and our allies can confirm, that they pose a direct threat to the stability of the world. They show no respect for national boundaries, and no respect for human life. We treat everybody equal. So we show little compassion for your citizens. Mercy does not exist in our dictionary, so don't expect us to grant it to you. But still, you have twenty four (24) hours to surrender, or we will live up to our words. OOC: Ok, some things we need to clear up:

1. My nation is, for the last time, NOT A DICTATORSHIP! Seriously, people, just LOOK IT UP ON NATIONSTATES! For God's Sake!
2. We were attacked. We were only trying to prevent the spread of nuclear weapons and FC ships opened fire on us. Now we are being nuked, but have landed a small invasion force on FC lands.
3. Please, people, read the threads! We were doing our best to avoid a conflict. When the NES ships closed on us, did we open fire? No, we kept our weapons powered down, even though their weapons were hot and they were taking up a threatening stance. It payed off in the end; they were able to rescue some survivors from a vicious pirate attack against our ships. Then we were attacked by Feline Catfish. If you had been in my position, with a country firing on your naval fleet, what would you have done?

Laskon, though in the same region as Makaar, used to have a longstanding alliance/friendship until their leader decided to declare war on one of our allies during a world war that threatened to envelope Laskon, so instead of helping us, he set off to wage a useless war.

Makaar recently had a coup in his country, then another for the original government. They are still trying to regain control of their nation, and probably do not control all of their missles yet.

Laskon is mobilizing its fleets to go to the border of Makaar and begin bombardment, it will take considerably less time for ours to get there, but we will also prepare a larger contingent of troops to invade the land.

Though we have recently decided not to fund nuclear weapons research in our country, the decisian is still pending, and will be changed to support the research so if something like this happens again, an immediate response can be made in the form of hydrogen bombs.

What more proof do people need? Guffingford and it's officials are insane, and satanic. They murder innocent children, and bastardize human rights. Makaar, we will fight with you every step of the way if you wish it. We cannot allow these insane Guffingfordians to spread their ideology through out the world, doing so would surely be the end of us all.

If you had been in the region of The Young World when Makaar set out on a massive inquisitian of attacking any non-democratic nation, his views became quite clear, their government is mad. Absolutely crazy. They think any nation that is not democratic deserves to perish, and he will attempt to do so. Any person held under sway that Makaar is a peaceful nation is sadly mistaken, as he has a habit of waiting till the right moment (though usually its the wrong) to then attack for almost no plausible reason!

To make the situation even more dangerous, the Firestorm Arsenal ships all carry extremely heavy payloads of sarin and smallpox - the genticly enhanced version. From mainland Guffingford, and outer space preparations were being made to wipe Makaar off the map, and the face of the earth. The ortillery platforms, recently refilled with nuclear arms began to release their deadly cargo when they were in orbit above Makaar. In the high atmosphere the nuclear weapons will detonate, throwing Makaar back to the 17th century. But that isn't enough - Makaar had to be destroyed completely. This was the only outcome the Guffingfordii military command has in mind.

From ICBM platforms in Guffingford missiles were prepared; all fuel-air missiles and chemical missiles (also sarin) assigned for this attack will be launched the minute the EMP's have struck, a total of thirty thousand would be enough, fifteen thousand sarin, and fifteen thousand fuel-air missiles. The nuclear weapons exploded and nothing could stop the EMP. The graphite missiles will be launched at all major powerstations throughout their pathetic excuse for a country, expected to disable all remaining powersupplies. Makaar was bound to have counter measures, but due to the sheer size of this attack, the chance of a substantial amount of missiles penetrating their defensive web was high.

30 nuclear weapons detonated in atomosphere above Makaar; 3 ortillery platforms activated.
8000 graphite/MIRV missiles launched at powerplants, number of missiles is equally divided over every single powerplant.
When the EMPs have done their damage, you can expect 15,000 Fuel-Air ICBMs knocking at your door, and to make matters worse (for you) you can feel the love of 15,000 sarin missiles.

Just wondering, that's all.Allow me to explain. The IC matters. The illegal blockade, and my pledge of support to Felince Catfish promising to destroy whoever blocking him/her. Guffingford believes in national sovereignity and the choice of nations to keep nuclear weapons. Makaar doesn't agree with that, so he shall be destroyed. The OOC reason is irrelevant, because it reflects my IC stance on it.

The Guffingford defenses might have not worked, but these sure as hell did. Two hundred red rockets streaked around the orbit of the Earth, short flames sputtering out of their engines, making headway for the slowly appearing shapes of nuclear warheads and missiles. The "Brilliant Pebbles" were equipped with cameras underneath the nose which kept the sattelites aware of the presence and helped direct the brilliant pebbles to their target.

Within seconds some broke off, heading for their respective nuclear weapons. About two brilliant pebbles were nuclear missile were proportionally put together. The Brilliant Pebbles would only take about sixty-two seconds to cover the distance, and then it would be all over.

The skies of space burst in a white flash as brilliant pebble hit nuclear warhead. A powerful parade of colors created an abstract backdrop to the twinkling stars.

Not thanks McLeod, I'm just fine right here. Whatever Makaar does, he longer exists to me. The EMPs took down his defence - a nation such as him who only RPed in this war can posses technology to take down some of the most advanced satellite systems by one of the most militarized nations on the NS planet, I don't think so. Not to mention his powerful ability to stop a barrage of 15,000 ballistic fuel-air missiles and associated sarin missiles equal in numbers. The 8000 graphite missiles launched prior to the attack probably add nothing to the attack, since the EMP already took everything down.

But a propos, Thanks Mac for your contribution. This RP was short, powerful, and shows Guffingford is a genocidal madhouse who doesn't care at all about human life, or humanity as a whole. As long as I target the bad guys instead of NWO and NATO, then's all good. I forgot something to add, but it's probably not important.

Let's just take a vote here. Everyone RPing knows (or should do) that it is not accepted to decide someone's losses for them. It is also not accepted to just destroy a nation in one post. Also, amassing a huge force of missiles and getting them past anti-missile defences is godmodding.

So, if Guffingford did all of these things, then is that acceptable? I know you'll all say yes to spite me. But I am seriously p*ssed off at Guffingford right now and am ignoring his attacks because he did those three things I mentioned.

If he would like to RP in a more civilised manner, or even to just discuss this, I would be happy to, but I will ignore any attacks he does on my nation until either of these conditions have been met.

I see no decleration of casualties or decleration of defenses. And, yes, it is realistic that he nuke you back to the Stone Age. Hell, in the 80s, if the Soviet Union and the United States began to nuke each other it would be over pretty darn fast.

Guffingford is setting a terrible precedent.

What's to stop a 2004 nation from copying Guffingford and launch "OMG! 100000 nukes! at every 1 - 2 month old NS nation? What if I decided to nuke every April 2005 nation? What then?

Guffingford will only end up establishing a two-pronged trend that will ruin RP's and such.

Trend 1: "Its OK to nuke small nations, and completely destroy them with no consquences."

Trend 2: "I don't like you. Goodbye. BLAM!!!!! Nukk0rz n00bishness!!!!"

This is not the way to introduce new players to NS. In fact, it will only turn them away from RP'ing. Potential new Lindlim's, AMF's, Schultaria's, etc. that could join up down the line would be turned away because of Guffingford's "trend-setting" and NS will lose good new potential RP'ers as a result.

Guff, how about instead of completely and utterly destroying anyone, you could just destroy Makaar's fleet and stopping him invading Feline Catfish. For all you know, Makaar could be another Lindim, AMF whatever.

There was an OOC thread where I declared my defences. Guffingford declared that he had completely destroyed my nation. He can't RP and I refuse to do so with him. Unless you were expecting me to declare my defences in *HIS* post.
