Stevid

The Minsitry of Defence in Stevid Capitia has been viewing with great concern at the increasingly hostile attitude the Feline Catfish (FC) is taking under the subject of nuclear weapons. As such a young nation with Weapons of Mass Destruction in concerns many nations on how reliable FC will be with WMD. So far FC has not shown promise that they are trustworthy enough to be allowed nuclear weapons let alone threaten larger, more powerful and more respectful nations with such weapons.
FC has shown unreliability with nuclear weapons and something must be done to stop the hostilities and posible of nuclear war. The Stevid MoD proposes, as have a number of other nations, that they should dismatle at least half if not three quarters of their nuclear arsenal. This will, in time, lower tensions between nations opposed to FC and lower the threat that FC poses to the international community.
A vote will be cast with the international community deciding whether or not nuclear dismantlement will occur. If the vote does not pass, then Stevid will presume that no one is bothered that FC could pose a big enough threat to worry about. Stevid has taken into acount that FC is small and opposing nations are significantly larger than FC and if FC launch a nuclear weapon, full nuclear response would seem to be a good idea. However, the MoD is assuming that nobody in any nation would like there to be a nuclear war; the loss of life and damage to the environment is not worth thinking about. So the Stevid MoD calls for FC to understand the world's concern of such matters and asks for them to stand down and except the vote if the result says that you should dismantle.
Should the vote say that FC can keep their WMD's, Stevid will remain opposed but will not take any futher action unless nuclear missiles are launched.
Thank you for your attention
Signed

ooc: So come on. Who wants what?
