GANN News Desk: ~ In a striking announcement, the Ascendancy despite it's wartime stance, has decided to open it's borders to 'all' Jedi from any nation, in hopes to increase the Republic's spiritual understanding, as well as to understand better the, for lack of a better word, power that is called 'The Force'.

"Knowing that at least one of our allies, of whom we will defer details off for now, has access to this mystical component, gives us a desire to understand it as well, especially in conjunction with our own Power of Hikari.

We also extend this invite to any nations that have access to the Power of Jurai, as to increase knowledge even more.

It is the overall objective of this all, to increase knowledge, give a place of true safety for such users, and to create a symbiotic relationship that can only gain strength from.

And we 'do' understand the dire elements associated with this calling, all too well. But if such elements exist anyway, we must confront it by cultivating friendships with all such we would like to call friends." ..commented Lady Arashi, in her capacity as Spiritual Advisor Throne of the Ascendancy, already a strong user of the Hikrai Power.

The invite includes the right to ask for spaces of land upon any Republic world, both in the Milky Way Core Worlds, and in the Gaian Intergalactic Colonies Spheres. It allows for such guests equal rights within the Republic, if they choose to remain as permanent guests.

However as always, there is no pressure to remain, or even feel if they 'must' answer this call. The intent is to create an open atmosphere to exist in.

IC: A lone KSE Firespray (http://lucasarts.com/products/galaxies/main.html#KSEFirespray), red-grey hull stark against the city-planet below, descended onto the Gaian homeworld. Vapour trails streamed from it's wings as the craft entered the atmosphere...

The ID for allowing the vessel to land, wasn't so much made by the Planetary, but more by the ephumsitically named Hikari Soul-Will Shield, the living energy made by the Hikari Trees, and maintained by the will of the Excellency himself, with plenty of assistance from the quickly growing Hikari Tree Generation Partnerships.

At least Three Generations were now active, having combed souls from all over the Core Republic, and the Colony Galaxies.

The Hikari Power was brimming with life giving energy, and it was this energy that sensed which guest vessels was friendly, or at least amicable from plain curiosity..

..and hostile.. the latter wouldn't even have made it past the Repubilc Borders, hundreds of light-years away.

...where a convenient complex of seventeen waterfalls enshroud a massive Shinto Shrine, one almost a true city in size of it's own regard. One covered in thick forests of interspaced pine, bamboo and cherry blossom trees.

Samuel Coote's Ship came through the Stargate on Valana, him behind the controls with his Betorthed in the Co-Pilot Seat. Their was a pause before the beep of the intercom came.

"Samuel, The Empress is here, please come to the Breifing room" The Voice of Force Commander Illana could be heard in the gate room. He lifted his hand in a mock version of the Hail sign the Nazis used to do for Hitler, something he had picked up while he had been on Terra.

He and his wife where in the room a few minutes later, their clothes still dirtied. They bowed to the Empress, low enough to show she was their mistress. She nodded for them to rise, then gestured that the Illana can go. She stood to attention before walking out in lock step. Valina waited for the woman to be gone before rolling her eyes.

"Right, we have a number of problems." She said to Samuel Harshly. "I hope you know, your stunt on Issus means I now have to sasiate the Jedi Master. What where you thinking giving Crystal over to another nation to train!"

"She would benifit from them more then us, I have secretly taught her, without her knowlage, what she needs to know to control herself, but the Jedi here would only make her a waste." He said defencivly.

"I am aware of that, but you could have ASKED me to give you permission, as it stands now, you need to get out of the nation now!" She spoke Harshly, her words flowing with stabs of pain through Samuels body. "Don't whine I am hurting you, I am only showing my annoyance, that I now have to orginze you a ship, a escort, a full rutine to get you to the Gaian Ascendancy. Then I have to smooth things over, boy, you are lucky I need you." She beared her fist before sighing. "Forget it, I will let you orginize it yourself, you have that ship I gave you, just use the open ended stargate to get their, thats about it." She nodded, before leaving the room.

"See my love?" Samantha said in a nagging voice. "This is what I mean when I say you need to judge your actions more."

"Oh Do shut up" He said before kissing her.

Two Hours Later, Samuel was looking for a crew. While the Empress had given him his own personal ship, a new one as well, their was no one to actually crew the thing. So far he had found part of the Sacrad Band Mecinary Group, and had convinced them to leave the band to join his own Ship. He only needed two people, the most critical however, the Navagator and the Manager, who made sure the ship got everything it needed. He sighed, looking at the Psyker before him, nodding to his wife to take her aboard.

"I can manage the finances, lets just GO!" he said in an irritated tone.

"Yes Husband." She said smileing.

The ship arrived in the system a short time later, using the open ended funtion on the Orbital Stargate the Space Yacht ended up near the edge of the Gaian Ascendancy Space.

Jedi Master Blayden, 'governor' of Jurai, our newest and now most important colony, looked over the invitation. "Hmm. Interesting. I'd better send someone."

Not long after, Jedi Knight Rayden Samson and his apprentice Walter M. Wennsday were dispatched on a Jedi diplomatic cruiser to the Coredian Wormhole, a rift in the STC that conveniently connects the Corusca Galaxy with the Milky Way so that we in Coreworlds could interact with the folk over there. It is ten lightyears from the Juraian system. The cruiser reverted to realspace, oriented itself to face the wormhole, then sped for it, taking ten minutes to travel to it and half-an-hour to travel through it, reentering the Orion Arm, 350 light years from Sol.

Samuel nodded, his form tense under the robes. Samantha rubed his back, smiling helpfully at him.

"Its ok Darling, you will not need to worry" She cooned. "I will protect you."

"But I wanna protect you" He said in a child like voice. "Now let me smell your hair."

"Um Sir," An Officer said, "The Vox is still on."

"Ah well. Its official in one nation it can be official here, I love her, now, Take us in."

"Sir, new ship arriving, its coreworlds." Someone said.

"hehe, their the ones that got me INTO this mess, ah well, we will see them later, for now, ONWARDS! For a bed we can make love in without creeking!" He shouted, turing the vox off right after wards.

Despite the terrible events rocking the core of the Gaian spiritual and moral compasses, they still held their arms open to the idea to allow in the one element the Gaians 'didn't' have some kind of touch or mastery over.

The waiting Shrine center still waited for new and interested types, to give a chance to understand this 'Force' all the better, as well as to simply befriend such souls.

Another of the manyideals the Gaians regarded as reverant.

Rogue True Jedi Master Kira Mercer appeared in her personal Hades-class Cruiser with her Rogue True Jedi Knights. She then beamed down to greet the Gaians, "Greetings I am Rogue Jedi Master Kira Mercer sister to the late John Mercer I have come to discuss with you what you remember of John in his last days unfortunately I couldn't reach the war in time to do anything to help him and just recently returned. Also Id like to help train any Force-sensitives you have all we require is a world teeming with life to do so and we can teach your Force-sensitives the ways of the Unifying Force. However first I wish to discuss my brothers last days with your leader or whoever was closest to the events. Then me and my Jedi will train your people."

IC: Samani Ansu - formerly of the Jedi Order - stepped from his Firespray, only to be struck speechless by the incredible strength of the Force. The sheer amount of living organisms on this world gave it an aura of life. He walked between the cherry trees, encapsulated by the beauty of the falling blossoms. He didn't realise he was walking on stone until the Shinto Temple-City was right in front of him...

The ship came in fast, landing near the shrine in a Advent class carrier.

"Yo" He said over the roar of the craft. "How is everyone on this fine day?" He looked at the Gaian's "And what the hell am I doing here again? Perhapse some one could remind me!?" he looked around with a hint of humour in his eyes. Samantha came out, her long black red hair framing her face.

"Excuse the Jedi, he suffers a large case of Insanity." She said, the same hint of humour in her eyes.

"No more then you my dear," He said in that loud voice. "For who is more insane? The Insane one or the one who marrys the insane one?"

The head priest of the Shrine, a Second Generation Hikari Partnership User, and a beauty of raven hair that ran as long as the Second Lady Excellency's, came out to greet the various parties.

"Welcome to all that have come. We simply ask that you take your time and explore your own validity to use our Republic as a base to conduct your matters, and yes indeed..." ..looking at Master Kara Mercer. "..discover such types among our populaces.

The Force it seems, is the one area we are not readily proficent in at this moment, and can accomidate any requirements you see fit. However all this is for The Balance above all else, and do please try to respect this, along with that we will try 'both' sides of the equation, as to ensure that The Balance is kept stable.

As this will end result in far too many dicussions and such over time, we ask patience as these explorations are made. In the meantime, those Force sensitives that reside here for any length of time, will be treated as Gaian citizens in regards to defense and certain immunities, in so as long as honor dictates.

This means not we expect rules enforced, rather respect enriched upon all present." The Shrine Keeper then bows to them all.. "Welcome to the Ascendancy, users of the Force."

A small transport ship carrying twelve Jedi Knights and three Jedi Masters headed towards the city and asked for permission to enter the city.
