The Gowa Complex, the central hub of Gowa City, was where secret meetings were oftened held by the higher rung of the Gowa Industries Corporate ladder.
Today, an extra special meeting had been called. The Enitre Board of Directors, as well as CEO Gowa himself were in attendence.
The small group of business suited Nekos regarded each other as each took a seat at the large, oblong table.
Chairman Irawata appeared particularly displeased, running his hand through his slicked back blonde hair every few minutes.
As soon as the group was gathered, Chairman Irawata stood, clearing his throat. "As you all know, I have called this emergancy meeting to discuss a matter of great importance to both myself, and Gowa Industries as a whole." He lifted up a small stack of hardcopies, a paralegal travelling around passing them out. "A nation fanshioning itself the Sultanate of Vastiva has KIDNAPPED my daughter!"
Immediately, a wave of hushed whisper swept through the group. Clearing his throat, Chairwoman Drake stands, "With all due respect, Chairman. I can hardly call a typo on a Corporate Release Form grounds for kidnapping charges." More whispers, the female Neko meeting gazes with other standing Neko.
"You may have a point. However, I could understand if these forms were signed in mistake. All we'd have to do is void it, and renegoiate a new one. BUT! Frank Horrigan, our family lawyer, says that the representative of the Sultanate of Vastiva signed these forms KNOWING of the typo!"
Chairwoman Drake skirted the issue, "Chairman Irawata, may I ask you to clearify what exactly was your daughter's purpose in Vastiva?" She flashed him a wolf-like smile.
Hudson faltered, making as if to seat, then remembering he still had points to make, and stood fully again. "That's beside the point-" He started.
Chairwoman Drake cuts him short, "It has everything to do with this! The Board of Directors deserves to know why your daughter was in this nation, requiring a Corporate Release Form. Mr. Irawata..." Again, the predatory grin graced her face.
Hudson frowned, then his massive shoulders sunk, "Fine. The Sultanate of Vastiva is runned by a Sultan. My daughter, Zukie... She... She went there to fill a position within his Harem."
"So, your daughter is now a forienger's sex slave, AND, on top of that," She sifts through some hardcopies, raising up the lastest Corporate Trade Import-Export invoice, "Three thousand Metric tonnes of cheese products has been shipped to them, care of Gowa Industries, and Vastiva is slatted to continue to recieve cheese, Weapons Grade Plutonium, and raw material shipments at 10% below cost-to-produce! Your daughter has forsaken her duty as a Krowemohian citizen AND cost the Corporation valuable assests! If that isn't treason in it's highest form, I don't know what is!"
Instantly, the room was alive with sounds. Each Chairman or woman stood, slinging out words of protest, or argueing against another whatever point someone else was trying to make.
CEO Gowa, simply remained silent, his face neither smug nor concerned, watching over the proceedings...
