Relizing that his empire is quite isolated in global politics, His Imperial Majesty the Emperor Tomohito of Tisopea has decided to forge alliances via imperial marriage. He thus offers three of his daughters in marriage. His Imperial Majesty has made it clear that he also preffers one of at least noble blood to wed one of his daughters, expressing his concern that they be treated in the custom of imperial princesses. Religiously, each of the imperial ladies are of the Shinto Faith and of impeccable breeding, be of the nobility for countless generations back.

The ladies are:

Her Imperial Highness Haruko-Naishinno (titled HIH Nori no Miya), who is twenty four years old. She is well educated and accomplished, and the highest ranking princess of the blood in the entire empire. Her mother is the empress consort. HIH Nori no Miya is the favorite daughter of her father.

Her Highness Akiko-Nyoo (titled HH Toshi no Miya), who is eighteen years old. She is young and has an impulsive reputation, but is a kind hearted women nonetheless. She is the daughter of the emperor's favorite concubine (Lady Nagako) and is a princess of the imperial blood.

Her Highness Tokiko-Nyoo (titled HH Kuri no Miya). Kuri no Miya is also the daughter of Lady Nagako, and well known for her beauty. While she is fifteen, the princess is very mature for her age and known for her witty since of humor.

Keep in mind that this is the first time in Tisopean history that a princess has married a foreigner. Members of the imperial household rarely even wed outside distant collateral cousins and the highest noble families, let alone foreign nobility and royalty. However, the emperor has issued an edict that provides for this. Also, keep in mind that the princesses will, via imperial house law, loose their rank upon marriage and take their husband's.

The chamberlain bowed deeply, nearly prostrating himself before The Emperor Tomohito, as he went over the letter.

The Emperor smiled, bidding the servant to rise from his desk. Slowly, he scribbled out a reply to the official letter.

"Inform Her Highness Kuri no Miya that a proposel has been made for her hand. I have made my choice." Then, turning to his private secretary he added, "Make the proper wedding preperations, Nobutaka, we're going to the Agaku Empire...oh yes, and be sure to have my reply delivered to the King Ashnak Agaku."

It seems that H.H. Akiko-Nyoo is much saught after. Since both Theao and Alan have made it known that they desire her hand, i must inquire more about each perspective groom. Feel free to share here.... After all, a decision must be made.

I suppose if you really wish to forge a marriage alliance with us, you can. There is still one more princess; however, be advised, we did not put her in the running because of her age:

Her Highness is scholarly and astute, and willing to become your wife. However, we would require, in return, you agree to the terms of a treaty: economic and commercial relations, free trade, and sending aide in times of national crisis and or defense.

Keep in mind His Imperial Majesty has so many weddings to attend that this one he might not make.

The Commonwealth of Rejected Nations would be interested in getting Prince Calpino to meet with Masako-Nyoo. We believe that the two should get to know each other before any decision is made. Agreed. Her Highness will be boarding a private flight to Rejected Nations withen a short while. She will be accompanied by two noble ladies in waiting, several servants, and a few body guards. The Princess is quite happy, and excited to meet the man who may be her future husband.
