The Gallifrey Imperium

ASTROPHYSICAL LOCATION:
Gallifrey is in the heart of the Minyan constellation (a Gallifreyan "constellation" refers to elements of time/relativity/location) of Kasterborus (also known as the Kasterborus Sector) which is located at the center (or the edge) of The Milky Way on the edge of the Capricorn Tract. It might be in the Sagittarius constellation (center of the galaxy) in the Earth skies. The constellations around Gallifrey appear similar to the constellations around Sol III.
BRIEF HISTORY:
Gallifrey was a centre of time travel and technology, a place of harmony and power, kept safe by a powerful energy shield preventing any access to Gallifrey. The Time Lords acted as a kind of temporal police force, making sure everything happens as it should. A cabal fo these Time Lords gathered and plotted to take control of Gallifrey and create a massive empire. They were opposed by the most famous tTime Lord, 'The Doctor'. The Cabal managed to kill The Doctor, and sieze control of Gallifrey. Using their Time Travel they caused whole systems to simply forfeit their sovereignty. Many systems realised that the Time-Cabal had used their power to change history, and rebelled. They fought the Cabal right back to Gallifrey using temporal weapons, but could not alter the past due to limitaitons in their technologies. The Cabal waits for a time when the Imperium can live again.
