Dostanuot Loj Nationalized News Agency: Government Report
Government Headquarters, in Uruk, announced a shift in the internal workins of the nation.
Beginning at midnight tonight, the Government intends to fully incorporate the Ke'Tuna Territory into the Republic, no longer recognising it as a seperate entity within the Republic as it has been for centuries now.
It has long been the case that the nation comprised of the Territory of Ke'Tuna, and that of Sumer, each with it's own unique culture, language and religion, and the Republic has survived in this state for centures.
In her speach to the People earlier today, Feild Marshal Namtar outlined her reasoning for this action:
"Recently we have seen much turmoil in our great land. As we open our borders to the outside world, foreign beliefs, ideals, and goals have seeped in. Although this is often not detrimental to our society, in fact often it is benificial to us all, lately there have been less the desireable results. Monotheastic terrorism has begun to torment our lives, political idealists exiled from their homeland have found refuge here, and returned to their dissodant ways within our borders.
So, in the effort to preserve our great nations history, culture, and way of life against the onslaught of the international community, I have decided to fully incorporate the Territory of Ke'Tuna into the Republic as a whole, and revert to the name we have used for ourselves for centuries.
Beginning midnight tonight, what is now The Dictorial Republic of Dostanuot Loj, will be officially renamed The Dictorial Republic of Sumer.
With this new change comes a new constitution, which will be published to the public tommorow, and the reworking of several national laws.
I would like to thank the Civil Senate, in particular the Senators who represent the Taino people in Ke'Tuna for their support on this issue. And I would like to make it clear that this in no way removes the equal status the Taino's have enjoyed since they entered the Republic. Now they are true equals."
This network will be renamed along with all Nationalized institutions at midnight tonight. The Government has reported that it will begin to print new currency for the People, but that they will continue to accecpt the old currency for years to come.
Keep watching us for updates, and the unveiling of the new Constitution in later time.
OOC: Decided to make a name change. I wanted that name to begin with, but an older, long gone nation had it and it wouldn't let me. So, I'll put it in my sig, my nation shal be refered to that from now on.
