The last touches have been completed on Ankhmet's finest computer system. Shortly before the Fall Ankhmet moved a large amount of resources and technology to a planetoid in Q-Space (Ankhmet's private universe). Amongst this technology is an organic hypercomputer. This great beast has the processing power to keep an Empire the size of Chronosia organised. It can even command a large military at the same time. It is estimated to have a processing power of 1000 petaflops (1000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 calculations per second). It is however temperamental, and requires a large cooling system. The creature itself is aquatic and almost motionless, and requires that a large amount of any building/ship it is housed in be converted to tanks holding a special nutrient mix. The only creature currently in existence now exists on the Space hulk. But Ankhmeti scientists who escaped the Fall have the knowledge to clone the creature. It will be stunted, having a processing power of 10 petaflops rather than 1000, but the processing power is still massive. We are willing to sell clones, and the tanks and nutrient mix to any state who want an obscenely powerful computer.
The creature is about the size of a whale, but is shaped more like a deformed squid, the tentacles stemming from the brain allowing them to be grafted onto a control system. It comes with a holographic VDU, and derives all energy from the nutrient bath. It has an extremely efficient respiratory system, and can recycle nutrients many times, meaning you will only realistically have to change the nutrient bath every century. The process will be carried out by Ankhmeti scientists, as they are the only ones capable of carrying out the process without killing it horribly. It is very sensitive, and responds to genetic sampling by releasing toxins into its own bloodstream which break down the DNA of affected cells. This feature is necessary for security.
