Um...theres really not. the only thing you could do is to ignore the excessive numbers/ubertech he/she is using and go on with the rp like he/she is playing fair.

So you can't win without godmoding back or ignoring (which kills the point of beating them)?

true

Damn, well, I suppose I could ignore parts of the posts and RP against the ones that aren't godmods.

in all actualityies, if the other person is godmodding then its not really worth it to go on with the role play. You might be able to ignore him, and rewind back to the point in which the rp really started, and try to get someone who doesnt godmod to rp with you. You might even be able to get the mods to delete all of his posts if you were the author of the thread, but Im not sure about that.

Thats is really one of the few options available to you really.

Alright. I actually thought it would be possible to win honorably.

Well, you cant really unless you...

1. Godmod back
2. Try to trip him up in his own convoluted web of ubertech (make them contradict themselves)
3. Eh, thats it I guess...

Right, it's impossible to win with honor. That might explain why the good guys always lose here and in real life.

Not necessarily, look at WWII. Allies triumphed over evil... well except for that Stalin thing...

well, a "good guy" is usually someone who shares the same ideals as you do. Since there are many different ideologies on NS what you constitute as a "good guy" and a "bad guy" may not be the same as someone else does. Like for me if someone legalizes abortions, or gay marriage or something along those lines, they would be considered the bad guys in my eyes, while for someone who is for those policies then they would be considered good guys.

But thats a little off subject. In all actuallity 90% of the people who godmod here are either too young to be able to fully understand what they are writing and they articulation skills arent what some of the older players are and are therefore more easily misunderstood, or something along those lines. Only a few people have ever intentionally god modded, but when they do they are usually doozies. (Thinks back to the FWS days of teleporting an entire nation in the past. Those were the days:rolleyes: )

I've found that the best way to beat godmoders is use logic against them. If it makes them look like an ass, all the better.

"Not necessarily, look at WWII. Allies triumphed over evil... well except for that Stalin thing..."
...Technically he was our ally at the time. But the point is I now know that you can't beat a godmoder by palying fair. Thanks for the help guys.

I know that he was our ally, hence even though Hitler was gone Stalin remained in power who was in many ways worse than Hitler.

I think about the only effective thing you can do is (if you know him in real-life) beat him up until he agrees to play fairly. if he doesn't get the hint, keep doing it until he does get the hint, or hospitalized

But then there is the whole thing with aggravated assault and prison time.

plus I guess it would leave you with a lot of time to think up new rp ideas when you arent doing the whole manual labor thing.

I never figured out why he wasn't removed from power, probably because he wasn't a threat to other nations, so he was left alone.
