On Wednesday April 20th, on the beautiful planet of terran prime, with the sky filled with white fluffy clouds in a blue back round, a news crew from a shuttle van was setting p there automated cameras and other equipment they were at this huge white, building with several huge dome’s over it, 1 of the domes were opaque, white grayish and was tall slender with a statue on top of it, the others were glass domes gleaming metallic glassy domes filtering light from the sun, in to a massive garden and green house. The rest of the building has symmetrical anesthetic pleasing shapes to it, the entire building over looked new union City the heart and soul of the federal union. It over looked a grandeurs city, spires of glimmering white glass and tall domes covered the sky line the center of the city was dominated by huge spires and glimmering glass buildings, the rest of the city wasn’t to far behind, over 4 billion people crowd the entire city (yes 4 billion I don’t count some things in my pop ), shuttles and care like things floating pylons and other things covered the city while some buildings were covered by plants and trees.
Mean while the crew’s of local and interstellar news rushed in the building just as senators from all walks of life and areas rushed in to the room, and took there seats in the well lightened, breezy comfortable chambers, and seats.
Mean while the senators took there seats, as the news casters and crews rushed to all corners of the building getting shots of people.
The speaker started:
“Hello, and welcome senators I am speaker of the house Lyndon Kay born as you already know” he coughed a bit and took a sip of water saying “we are gathered in these chambers today to discus foreign policy and other matter regarding the union and galaxy, I would like to start by saying its an honor to have new senators here, we have over 12 new seats in the Liberal planarian party, over 6 in the pacifist party, and 4 in the Federalist party, welcome senators, I hope you find that you like this new setting, at any rate I’m going to begin the proceedings, on the Subject of the ESUS, GE and other factions we shall take a vote on witch to start on, all in favor of discussing the policy with the ESUS say Aye, Nay or place an electronic ballot. ,all in favor of discussing the GE do the same and any one willing to discus any other matter do accordingly what the others are doing.”
The chambers started to fill with voices as over 55 senators voted Aye for discussions of the ESUS 51 voted nay, several moments the tallies were in 20 % was in favor of discussing the defunct GE, 30 % in favor of discussing the ESUS, 20 % in favor of discussing sea meta humanoids (Aka athruo orcas and dolphins) , 10 % in favor of discussing Chronosia, the speaker looked at the votes and tallied the voice’s and said “ok it looks like our first discussion is that of the ESUS, we will get to all the other subjects today as well as several others concerning foreign relations threats and so forth, our first speaker on the list is senator Tim Conway, of Tyrian on the subject of ESUS, and threats by them on us, you may now speak”
The sensor stood up raising a microphone to his mouth after taking a crystal clear sip of water taping down his glass on the metallic table, he started speaking
“ladies and gentlemen of the senate, there may be some thing looming on the horizon, from this alliance called the ESUS, as you can already guess there have been many attempts at factions with in that to destabilize destroy attack and out wit us on the galactic Sean, I for one am sick of it constantly having to watch out all the time gets stressful.” He takes a sip of water starting to talk again
” not only has there been attempts at subversion in the up most degrees, there has been attempts at over attack and support of enemies of the union, my position is we must take measures preemptively and defensively to prevent, nations like (ill use CF for short) from undermining our efforts” he sits down nodding to the speaker, the speaker nods back saying “ senators may now respond, who do you want to go first?” tallies came in that senator Joe harpmen from ETA butis was to respond, the speaker said “Senator harpmen please respond if you wish” The senator stayed in his seat scooting to his microphone starting to speak in an old deep voice” well Senator Conway, there are servile problems with your theory or assumption that the ESUS is out to subvert us and destroy us, for one the ESUS isn’t active as its used to be galacticly is an externally defunct alliance, now I will give you that some members like (CF) are out to subvert us, but we haven’t seen any recent activity from either him or the ESUS, my standing on this is we should take some measures defensively but we shouldn’t base our policy around them, because truthfully most ESUS members are neutral towards us” he finished sitting back taking some water and drinking it sighing slightly, the speaker said
“the next to respond is senator Linda Lowman, from servana”.
The Senator leaned up to her mic drinking some water and speaking in a soft but strong voice saying ”it has been apparent that the ESUS member (CF) has tried to subvert and support enemies against us, so have some others in the ESUS but just because these certain nations have did this dose not mean we have to go against the entire ESUS, we do have some standing allies in that externally defunct alliance, witch is way I suggest we go with harpmens proposal, we shouldn’t work against the entire ESUS, thank you Mr. speaker” the speaker looked at his notes saying the final senator to respond is senator James C Buchanan, from new London.”
The senator leaned up to his mike after drinking some juice and starting to say “ thank you Mr. speaker, my position is that the ESUS is pretty much dead externally there to busy being arrogant we are more powerful than god him self types, that mock us at every turn they make me sick and angry at the way they act there leaders are children, and are immature, half the time I bet they are sitting back on there asses laughing at things that happen to us, but you know what we have that they don’t we have knowledge and we have the ability to adapt, they have turned from seemingly the most powerful alliance in the galaxy, to a bunch of groveling gossiping fools, I don’t think we should waste or time with them! Tank you I’m now done” the speaker nodded saying “We shall take a few
moments recess and convene again on the subject of the GE, thank you”
the news reporter says “well be back in a few moments to continue this live universal feed of senate discussions and proceedings on foreign policy domestic issues and other things”
