Today the Grand Duchy of Van Luxemburg will be renewing it's armour programme. new will be:

The Leclerc MK.3

this Leclerc has an enheavied Diesel engine of 3000 HP, the double of the last version. because of highly advanced engines the Fuel Usage will be the same. his Top Speed will now be 110 km/h instead of 70 KM/h

He also has an VLCDAAS ( Van Luxemburg Conventional Digital Auto Aiming System) system, exclusively built by van Luxemburg. this device guides the shell fired by the 120mm cannon to it's target, whether the tank or the target is moving.

the new armour of the Leclerc has been made of Depleted Uranium, just like the Abrams tank. the tank has also been made NBC-proof.

OFFICIAL ROYAL VAN LUXEMBURG ARMED FORCES DEVELOPMENT STATEMENT

Today, on a pressconference, General Roussilon of the development division of the van Luxemburg Army has announced that the development on the MK.4 version already has started, details have not been given.
an armoured Patrol Vehicle is also being developed.
also Air Marshall Languedoc has announced that Development of a new Attack/Fighter Aircraft has been started, with intentions to add a new aircraft to the inventory of the Royal Van Luxemburg Armee de l'Air. The aircraft will have Stealth Capabilities and is also able to reach speeds of above Mach 4. other details have not been given.
Also was Stated that The Leclerc Mk.3 will NOT be for sale, because of the High level of secrecy around the tank. the only vehicle that will be for sale is gonna be the to be developed Armoured Patrol Vehicle (APV).

The Van Luxemburg Air Force will deploy 100 aircraft for testing purposes, but will be used in the Rebellion in Quiblechistan.

Armoured Patrol Vehicle (APV)

Name: VAB VMO
designation: APV
size: (L x W x H) 6 x 2.5 x 2 meters
Armament: 30 mm cannon, teargas, smoke and 40 mm grenade launcher, 7.62mm machine gun
armour: 25mm thick, conventional, NBC and Fire proof.

The VAB VMO is the new APV for the van Luxemburg army. armed with a 30mm cannon and a 7.62mm machine gun, being amphibious and capable of engineering and recon tasks with its shovels and thermal and night-vision cameras, it is a force to be reckoned with. the 7.62mm machine gun is actually the flaw in the design, because the gunner is not protected against enemy fire from the back, Engineers are working on this.

After the recent invention of the SmellAir oxygen generator, a brand new enormous Submarine will be built for the Van Luxemburg Navy, which could replace the aircraftcarriers and the submarines in the navy, altough there will be needed many to replace all of them. for now 1 will be built.
it has a modular construction, so it could be longened or shortened. it is capable of carrying 200 aircraft at a time -in the normal version- and will launch those aircraft just like a cruise missile ( launch them and after the aircraft has come out of the water it will engage it's engines)
the Thorax class submarine, as it will be called, is also capable of launching cruise missiles and mini-subs aswell as normal torpedos. in a large version of the sub small surface patrol craft will also be possible.

New Offshore Base project announced!

Today the Van Luxemburg navy announced the development of a new project,
the "Imicus" class Offshore Base.
