OOC: Dumpsterdam was kind enough to help me gain some experience with RP. I`ll be playing both the pirates and the calpians, while he is himself with some reinforcements.

IC:
Seoras checked carefully his new pistol. A 9mm Beretta, taken from the captain of the last hijacked ship. He was happy when Gustave let him keep it, though the boss usually keeps to himself the best weapons found. He smiled, thinking back at the regret he could see in Gustave`s eyes when he let him keep the gun. Then he remembered, and the smile faded. The captain was getting too daring with this. Attacking merchants was easy enough when you had some inside info on their cargo and routes. That’s outside the territorial waters of Calpe. But operating at ten miles from the coast, well, that’s just insane. He reached for the water with his hand, trying to touch it and leave the coldness flow through him. He couldn’t, and for some reason he felt sad. This wasn’t his old ship anymore. Just a damn retired patrol boat from the Coast Guard. What annoyed him more was that he couldn’t even smell the sea. The stench of the fresh set of paint was covering everything. He had to admit though, that Gustave`s idea of buying the old wreck and painting it like a Coast Guard boat was a brilliant idea. Brilliant but reckless. He didn’t use to take unnecessary risks before. The greed that had taken over him made Seoras scared. Not that much for himself, but for the lives of his family, and the families of his men. An entire village depended on them. His retired father, his widow sister and his lovely Kira. All of them depending on the Gustave`s greedy little mind. He turned and watched Gustave bloat to the men about this next prey. The Luna was filled with cars, had an inexperienced crew and it was unarmed. Perfect target, good reward from the cars, and the new ship will get a good price on the market. This will set them for good. The bad part of the plan was that the captain ordered that those that surrender be kept alive. Asking for a reward from the owner of the ship, that was a first. The risks involved were huge, even if the captain of the ship was the boy of the owner. If the Imperial Security Service gets a hold of this we’re screwed.

Gustave asked for silence....
`Men, check your weapons and your gear. I want everybody that doesn’t have a coast guard uniform below the deck. Wait for my signal, and remember....` He smiled with all his crooked teeth showing and continued... "Today we get rich...the money we’ll get on that ship and its cargo will make us happy for a very long time"

With that he told the men to go into hiding. As they approached the ship, they signaled by radio:
"This is the the Coast Guard. Please stop the ship and prepare to receive us onboard"
"Acknowledged Coast Guard. All engines to stop. We are expecting you to come onboard."

Seoras and Gustave were the first to set foot on the deck. Behind them, three more men, and another twenty hiding in the belly of the ship, waiting for the signal.

OoC: I promised Calpe I'd teach him and give him a few pointers here and there, so I'll keep that promise and RP with him.

However, I'd like to keep it to this one RP, I'll start figuring out the rest of my RP 's later.

IC:

Captain Hazel proceeded from the bridge stairs down to the deck, two sailors had taken up position behind him as he approached the coast guards.
"Gentlemen, welcome board the Luna! I am captain Hazel of the Dumpsterdanian Royal Merchant Navy and we will be happy to show you our cargo manifests."

Hazel signalled with his hand, receiving the clipboard containing three lists; all scribbled up with goods and supplies, mainly cars. As he handed the list over he addressed the man, wearing a officers uniform, who seemed to be charge as the others went over the cargo manifest. "Officer Gustave, would you care for a...cigar? I can assure you that they where made by underpaid communists children in the Island of Rose, so the experience should be extra sweet." The captain clipped open the wooden box, holding it out for Gustave.

Seoras watched Gustave take a cigar from the wooden box, thinking what a stupid little prick he was. They should just get this over with. No point in taking time, as it wasn’t on their side. He watched around carefully looking for the rest of the crew. A small group watching them couple of meters away and the captain with his two companions. The rest where probably on the bridge and below the deck. He could understand them. The heat outside was too much to bear for a man, even one as rugged as him. He thought again at the plan. Pretty simple. Gustave points the gun at the captain, he immobilizes the rest on the deck holding them at gun point while his men tie them up, and the rest of the pirates come onboard, as silently as possible.

He looked for Gustave again. He was lighting his damn cigar.

Gustave felt the adrenaline rush as he was lighting the cigar. When he’d put the lighter back in his inside pocket he would take the gun out. Nice and simple. Like him and his men practiced all the time. Few people on deck, hell, this would be easier then predicted. He watched for Seoras as he surveyed the deck. He picked him well as second in command. Cold blooded in action, passionate the rest of the time and the men loved him. He slid the lighter back inside his uniform and pulled the pistol out of its hiding. "Captain, mighty fine cigars you have there. I’ll have to take them together with the ship." Gustave grinned at the shocked look on the captain’s face and continued as he heard his men rushing to immobilize the sailors. "If you cooperate and tell me where all your men are, we will spare them. It’s your choice."

The rest of the pirates were starting to show up on the deck when the captain finally decided to answer, recovering from the shock.

"Pardon?!" The captain exclaimed, nervously shifting his weight onto his other leg. "You cannot come in and seize a Royal Navy Merchant! This ship is property of the Empire!"
The captain raised his head up a bit, hands on his hips as he affixed a rather arrogant tone. "You and your motley crew will leave my ship at once."

Meanwhile on the bridge things where going fast, documents where being put through the shredder as soon as the first mate spotted the gun which held his captain at point.
"Hurry up! Eat the registration papers if you have too damnit!" He screamed to the two sailors jamming everything down the shredder as he himself picked up the radio.

SOS SOS This is the Royal Navy Merchant Luna, we are being boarded by armed Calpenian Coastguards, our current location is....

The door to the bridge was busted open, two bulky, heavy men had lifted the steel door of its hinges and put a pistol round through the radio set rather quickly.
The first mate raised his hands up in the air as did the two sailors, nearly done with shredding the documents.

Seoras watched doubtful at the young and stupid captain. He couldn’t possibly be such a greenhorn, that he gives attitude to a captain of the pirates in front of his men. He felt the anger rise up inside him. The stupid `silver spoon up his ass` captain just made one of the worst mistakes a captain could do towards his men.

Gustave listened calmly to the arrogant words of the young captain. He said nothing. He just pointed the pistol toward one of the sailors, turned the head toward the captain and watched the arrogant prick, then pulled the trigger. The deafening sound of the Colt and the blood that splashed him took the arrogance away from the eyes of the young captain.
His trembling hands and his ashy-pale face told Gustave that he had won.
`Now, you ready to speak captain? `, asked Gustave with a blank expression on his face. He watched the captain in shock, and then pointed the gun toward another sailor.
`No, no! `, screamed the captain angrily, `Enough killing! I will tell you where my men are located if you give me your word that you will spare them`
Gustave smiled `Start talking`

Captain Hazel gulped; this was not the trip around the block that he had expected! "Alright, alright, I'll tell you!" He exclaimed, waving his hands in the air franticly.
He thought hard, trying to remember where each crew member was.
"Four men in engineering, six on the bridge, two in the cargo holds and the other eight are asleep in their quarters..."

"Assuming you just shot one...that leaves five on the bridge." He signalled to the men standing on the deck, as to make clear to Gustave that they where part of the bridge crew.
"There are no fire-arms onboard, if that’s what you want to ask, we are an unarmed merchant freighter." Hazel sighed; he wished he'd had command of one of the Armed Merchants the Navy was so proud off then he’d would surely show these bastards a few tricks or two.

Gustave turned to Seoras:
`They probably heard the shot. Send twenty men to scout the ship. Take them alive if possible. Shoot to kill if they resist`
Seoras nodded and turned to the men:
`You heard the captain. I want five men with me for the bridge, four men for engineering, two for the cargo holds and eight for the crew quarters`
They moved in total silence, though the crew was probably aware that something was wrong.
Seoras was the first to return from the bridge, `They destroyed most of the documents, but they surrendered peacefully.`
`Let`s wait for the other teams to report. Then i want them locked up and our men to man the ship and get it on her way. We have to move fast.`

Captain Hazel watched as the pirates swarmed the deck, heading below decks and onto the bridge.
"So, what would be your plan Gustave?" Hazel asked, rather curious, he knew that no black market or stolen goods dealer would touch these cars. The Empire had made sure that penalties on stealing these export goods was so high that nobody dared.

Meanwhile the crew was being rounded up and all went along peacefully. Not because the pirates where that scary or with that many men, but hey, they did have guns. The crew assembled into a small group on the deck, Hazel backed off from Gustave and stood with his crew, awaiting whatever the pirates had in mind.

Gustave watched satisfied as his men rounded up the sailors. Easy enough so far. Unarmed vessel, only one dead, and it wasn’t one of his own. He smiled as he saw his men sure on themselves moving on the deck. He turned to Captain Hazel to answer his question:
`Now, we take the ship to a small port in another country, where we have some important friends. The cargo will be sold on the black market and the ship registered under the flag of that anonymous country. You and your men will be our guests for the time being. I hear your father has some nice cash set aside for rainy days. `
Gustave giggled and turned back to his men:
`Let’s go! I want 15 men for a skeleton crew to move this ship! Seoras take the rest of the men and the prisoners and go to the base! Gag them and put blindfolds on their eyes. I don’t want them to see where they are taken. Once we take the cargo to its destination we’ll come back and start negotiating for the hostages. Expect us in three days. `
Seoras nodded and gathered his men `Come-on guys! I want us to leave the ship in 15 minutes! If they called the Coast Guard we don’t have much time`

Thirty thousand feet above a dead-calm ocean, Emperor Alexander stared miserably from the Learjet 60`s small, oval window. Too small of a plane for his taste. Since IAF 1 was taken for that damn security upgrade he had to use this little plane to go around. Compared to the luxury of the IAF 1 this was like a cheap car compared to a limo. He sighed and returned to his paperwork. This trip to Linn Island came at a rather difficult moment. As his lovely wife will soon bring into the world his first son he would rather stay with her then make visits. His mind went away again, thinking at the name of the little price. Should he be Alexander Jr.? No, that will cause some confusion. Better stay at his first choice. Carl Caladon, the name of the duke that founded Caladon City, the current capital.
A knock on the door. `Enter! `, said the Emperor.
`Sir, we have a video-call from the Sir Colville`
`Put it through Thomas`
Alexander watched the face that showed up on the screen. The Minister of Defense spoke:
`Emperor Alexander, we have a problem here. We have received a message from the Coast Guard. They received a message from a dumpsterdanian merchant, the Luna. They said they were attacked by a calpian Coast Guard boat. We don’t have any ships in the area, so we assume it’s a pirate vessel. `
Alexander felt the anger rise up inside him as he replied:
`You have any idea what happened with the ship? `
`The helicopter dispatched by the Coast Guard didn’t find any ship at the location from where the signal was sent. It’s probably sent as we speak somewhere to be repainted and sold under a different name. `
`Thank you Colville! I will send a message to Dumpsterdam to inform them. Mobilize the ISS to investigate this. Use all the resources you need, but find me that ship. `
`Yes sir. `
Alexander turned away as the video-phone’s screen went blank.
`Thomas, I want to send a message to Dumpsterdam. Make it to the the admiral of the southern fleet of Dumpsterdam. `

To: Lady Admiral Angelica Raditz of the Southern Fleet
Subject: Pirate activity at Calpe`s borders

We regret to inform you that we received a message today from the dumpsterdanian merchant Luna. It seems that it was attacked by a pirate ship disguised as a Calpian Coast Guard patrol boat. The ship has disappeared by the time our helicopter got there.
We assure you that we are doing everything in our power to get at the bottom of this. If you wish, you are welcome to send a team of investigators to help with the search and some ships. We will immediately send to you any news that we have concerning this unfortunate incident.

Signed: Emperor Alexander Caladon
