"I will start today with my nation, tomorrow with our lands" he added "For my people I will do anything, I shall never waver from Действие Первая Нация " He said as he gathered more Energy from the Roaring Crowd.

"Its our people that Suffer from Such decrees laid out by such an Evil Empire, They Must Sit down with this nation and negotiate land for Somali-Russia, and as for us, we shall not waver from out firm believe, a firm believe we have in our people, our lands and our nation, I must ask you all, Will you stand up for your nation once more? Will you defend its people and the Islamic faith without any doubt? Will you serve you people to the greatest honor bestowed upon man? If you plan not to do this, I plan not to stop for you, as I will Promise today as in Everyday, that I shall die for this growing nation as I would die for my life"

He continued the Speech as he gained more, and more people to join with the session, however the Teh Ninjan Soldier and Police were coming to see what was going on, they had no idea on what was about to jump on them.

After he gave of what can only be describved as a revolutionary engine starter, he sat down at his large Office Complex near Massjid -ul- Abbubakar al saddiq, and he looked put outside, onbserved the beuty of the land and started writing.

"It seems like you are rather determined with your plans, I have been informed of the masses which gather to hear your words. However the way you have written to me has alarmed as to whether you are considerring to rebel against our protectors. The Empire launched African Restruction Project has given Somalia a much better future. Now food is guarenteed for every somalian, and work is plentiful. The tribal warlords no longer fight for small amounts of land at the cost of hundreds of lives. We even have a solid Somalian government which has allowed us to rule ourselves as a united people. The Imperialist soldiers have not harmed Somalia but has indeed strengthened it and made it a prosperous nation. Surely you can see for yourselves the billions of dollars spent to make our lives easier?

But I personally relayed your request, with minor rephrasing, to the Emperor and he has agreed to allow you the Bay and Hiran provinces. He did however specify some points.
1.The borders are to completely open.
2.Any sort of military formations by the border will be constituted as hostile and military operations will commence in the provinces.
3.You are to keep a minimal military, one sufficient to keep in check rebellions and riots. Your military should not exceed 20,000 soldiers.
4.Free Trade.

I also wish to advise to you that though the empire is kind and generous it does also have it's fiery sides. During war you would not want to be on the receiving end of their onslaught.

My Truest brother, it seems really downgrading to tell us what to do now, we will not negotiate any military structure, where to put our military and how to design our military, and as a soon to be a Sovereign state, No one can tell us what to do with our Military, When to do it and why to do it. The people even support the new Somalia, some 70%+, while the remaining 30%+ support your cause. I will be willing to appoint you to Co-Governor if you rule your own land. If you want assurances that the Somalian people will live in prosperity then I believe this is the only way."

General Mikhail got Increasingly Worried and thought more, and More a Rebel Movement that would increase his hand at this 'negotiation' In eefort to increase his Influence. "How must we deal with beasts?" he asked himself "they seem to not understand our language, our way, our people, our traditions, our way and yet they seem to know us?" he told the others "We cannot deal with this, we must Enforce ourselves as the Majority" He added, Clearly marking the Words from the So called 'Governor of Somalia'

OOC: SM, what do you mean about the numbers? The numbers I supplied was the number of men, and women that support your cause. The numbers I give you could assist in making your rebel army. Also about the visitors you sent me they were taken by the military police and are held up in a cell. I understand that they were trying to seem aggressive towards the governor.

Also Cotland SM doesn't have control over any part of Somalia yet. So sending in marine, and airborne regiments into Mogadishu would be practically declaring war on me.

At Central Command Center Alpha Bravo, the officers of the 1st Specialist Battalion worked endlessly monitorring the seas, skies, and borders of Somalia. A long range sensor operator picked up his secured phone and dialed for the main command base. The line was linked directly to General Michael Morrant. After a few rings the a strong, deep voice answered on the other line.

"Yes?"

"General, this is Officer Bradshaw at CCC Alpha Bravo. Long range sensors are picking up movement of a fleet towards Somalia. These have been confirmed with sensors in Madagascar as well. Request satellite repositioning."

"Granted."

Within a few minutes the officer was looking at a clear picture taken by one of the new high resolution and high magnification satellites.

"Well?"

"Designations seem to be Cottish vessels sir. Looks like they're coming for the eastern coast of Africa."

"Very well, alert the admiral and order him to send the appropiate forces."

"Yes sir."

The 4th General Service Fleet of 139 vessels slowly pulled out of their appropiate harbour. The 15th Carrier Battle Group was also being mobilized to the territorial waters of Somalia. Sonar Buoys and submarines scanned the buttom of the ocean looking for any readings. In the sky Sea Kings, and advanced aircraft patrolled the skies.

On the mainland eight divisions had been mobilized to squash the possible rebellion. Aircraft patrol the skies more frequent, ready in case the man known as Mikhail Mohamed made a move.

OOC: I haven't planned on sending the forces yet, but I'll let it slide. They have a good cover story though.

IC: The Admiral commanding the two carrier strike forces and two amphbious assault fleets with the including Marine regiments were completely calm. The ships were still in international waters, and they would not move in untill the Somalis had gotten control of Mogadishu. For now, the cover story was that they were heading for the Suez.

The Teh Ninjan, Unexpectly were Unprepared for the Fight, the Battle Continued and the Commander Finished the Communication after he was assured of more men.

OOC: One point about your post SM. I've always had a considerable amount of soldiers in Mogadishu, and basically any major or coastal cities. Also you don't hold Bay and Hiiran, you would of if you had accepted your terms which you didn't so my soldiers still have control in them. If you were going to be fighting me it would be in the streets of Mogadishu. I ask that you please revise your post a bit and then I'll respond.

OOC: Revise what? as you have said before, We have 30% of the Population in Somalia Supporting us, So where are those people and where are there people. You seem to create this stuff in your head, I think the post is accurate since you said you were entering Mogadishu. I believe no Military can be at a city the whole time, May be your Police were there, but what if they are part of our 30% support.

OOC: I don't recall saying I was moving into Mogadishu, maybe reinforcing my units there but my forces have always been in Mogadishu. I have several command centers, nearly two dozens barracks, sea shore defenses, interesection outposts to accomodate some 6,000+ soldiers. I know the rioters are your pro-regime change people, but all I want change is so that it your men and fighting my soldiers inside the city, not enterring.

The soldiers of the 2nd Brigade of the 12th Army were busy defending barracks section 1-12. The barracks had fortified roofs, with sandbag defenses, machine gun nests, helipads, and perfect shooting lanes for the soldiers. The twelve buildings covered nearly the entire street and had perfect viewpoints of other parts of the city. On the roofs snipers picked out targets of importance and eliminated them. The machine guns, mortars, and RPGs were not being used as of yet due to the fact that resistance wasn't that intense. Soldiers aimed their rifles in semi-automatic mode towards the SM resistance fighters, taking careful aim before squeezing the trigger. Thus far only 1 soldier had been killed and 9 more wounded.

Across the city the Barrack Section 13-25 was not being engaged at all. Indeed soldiers had secured the the lower section and had increased fortifications by the top level but enemy resistance was nearly non-existant.

Outside Mogadishu the 5th Battalion of the 55th Mechanized Infantry Division was moving steady towards Mogadishu. The battalion contained 27 TM-38 Gladius Class Next Generation Battle tanks, 86 TM-71 Pilia Class Next Generation IFV, 46 M113A2 APC, and had Self-Propelled Artillery and howitzers outside the city to provide a devastating amount of fire power if needed. Travelling in the IFVs, APCs, and humvees a total of 905 soldiers sat quietly, anticipating the battle to come.

In the skies a flight of 12 VTA-68 Lancet Advance helicopters flew high over the city. The helicopters would be providing pin point accurate fire support to the soldiers if needed. Also coming into the battle scene was two AC-130 gunships from Jacob airforce base. Each gunship had enough firepower to fully destroy nearly an entire modern infantry division.

Out at the sea the 4th General Service fleet continued it's ariel patrols. Submarines also patrolled around the territorial waters in search of any unwanted visitors. The 15th Carrier Battle Group continued their operations as well. Small flights of fighters patrolled the skies, as helicopters and submarines searched for submarines.

The Empire have detected the firefights in Mogadishu, and wish to send in peacekeeping troops to maintain the peace. We await the reply from the Ninjan government.

The 11th Ynoga Strike Group was ordered to heave to and take up position off the Somali coast. The captain of the ICS Inflexible, the flagship of the 11th Ynoga was on the bridge when the orders came, and he immediately had the ships in the strike group take up defensive positions. After all, they were very close to a nation with whom Cotland had no alliance, NAP or anything else with. They also had a large naval force nearby according to the latest reports from SSN-651. The Captain decided not to take any chances, and sent up a defensive CAP of two F-29B Vultures. These fighters were wonderful fighters. Stealthy, S/VTOL and had a large weapons load. The Inflexible carried eight of these fighters, as well as two EH101 Merlins and four SH-60F Seahawks. In the cruiser, destroyers, frigate and submarine around the Inflexible, a multitude of cruise missiles, SSMs and SAM missiles were gathered. And there were plenty more on the supply vessel. Enough to bloody the nose of the Ninjans, should it come to that.

Onboard the TNN Juipter Class Ocean Carrier a new patrol of 6 Su-53 Air Superiority FIghters, and 6 F/A-91 Multi-role aircraft took off. Each aircraft was considered to be one of the best in the world, able to reach incredibly fast speeds and manuevers while still carrying numerous hardpoints for missiles. At Barrack Section 13-25 enemy fire was increasing. Snipers expertly targetted enemy combantants who fired upon the fixed defenses. In Mogadishu a massive mob was chanting down the streets away from the combat zone, yelling pro-ninjan remarks and insults towards the rebellion's leaders. Signs reading "A Better Somalia", "Death To The Rebellion" and "No War" were visible amongst the crowd. Some men even carried rifles with them, hoping to see a nearby rebel fighter who dared to be seen in the public.

The Empire watch the situation in Mogadishu unfold, and we yet again demand that we be allowed to send in our peacekeepers to prevent more bloodshed. One: A large scale urban combat excersise (which is very unlikely); Two: Preperations to destroy the uprising which consists of Somalis (most likely). This will cause a massive loss of people of that "race", and come dangerously close to genocide. At Madagascar the 5th Rapid Assualt Expedtionary Group, 3rd Meduim Assualt Expeditionary Group, and the 7th Carrier Battle Group were mobilized and were given orders to move just outside Chagos Archipelago.

At Chagos, the one hundred and seventy Cottish airmen, twenty scientists and four P-7A Orion II naval observaton planes stationed there went about their normal business. They didn't expect anything special to happen, but they kept the planes ready to go out defend the small island chain. The Orion IIs could each carry ten AGM-84F Harpoons and six Mk 48 ADCAP torpedoes on the wings and inside the weaponsbay. They did expect a few visiting naval ships tommorrow, but nothing today.

"Andrei hang up. Korolev was at the soldier city of Fort Chelyabinsk, it was a tradition of Pushkan military to have a military complex outside of any somewhat major city in the region, that tradition was taken from the emperial times then Tsar's special police batalions that were nicknamed "Krasnye Petuhi" were stationed near every major city in order to put down riots as fast as possible. The empire fell apart but the tradition stuck and remained more then a hundred years later.

Korolev was woekn up by the phone call, it was 3 o'clock in the morning and since he knew he couldn't go to sleep that day he decided that since his sleep was interupted it is his sacred duty to wake up those who are below him in rank.

He called all of his advisors waking them up in the middle of the night with a strong word and a freindly reminder that if they will not be at the command post fully dressed in 15 minutes he will cut off their testicles and feed them to his dog Sharik.

In turn the advisors who were suddenly uplifted by the urge to serve the motherland as a whole and General Korolev in particular, had arrived 3 minutes early, fully dressed and assumed their sits behing the table in the tactical command room. Everyone made themselves coffee and took out a ciggarrete. The only brand that could be seen were "Belamor" smoking anything else was regarded by the officers as compromising their masculine mentality.

The officers started talking, two hours later after reviewing the satelite pictures and different tactics they have came up to a conclusion. Korolev let them go and ordered the following encrypted message to be tellegrammed to the rebel HQs"

One of them being transportation by air. There are plenty Teh Ninjan anti-aircraft defenses on the coastline and if we try to penetrate them we will surely encounter a lot of casualties on our side. In light of these circumstances the only safe way for us to transport our troops to your nation is if you launch an attack on several anti-aircraft defensive positions, we need a window, and the bigger the better. We have some ideas as to where you should attack, the maps and so on will be attached to this telegram. Since you are closer to the action i will let you be the judge of the most efficient breakthrough positions. I will await a response for you but let me tell you about our plan.

We send out our IL-72 transports with several squadrons of our air attack battalions, they include such crafts as G-105, we will keep refueling in the air. While our planes are aproaching the agreed upon breakthrough points, you are to take out Teh Ninjan forces in those areas and hold them long enough for us to unload our cargo. After that we will help you secure those positions or will cover your retreat depending on how hot it will get. I am awaiting your response now with suggestions on the optimal breakthrough spots.

As for sending a bigger force, check out my military thread and see what a single division contains, i am sending nearly 60000 troops, thousands of tanks, jetfighters, anti-tank vehicles, anti-aircraft guns and so on.

The fierce fighting around City Hall came out of nowhere. By the time of the attack 21 Royal Guard Special Forces units were occupying the City Hall as well as 48 marines, and 84 Somali guards. RPGs were damaging the external structure of the City Hall but the heavy concrete and mesh steel was still holding up to the immense amount of explosions. The lower levels of the building had been sealed off, and were occupied by some 24 marines and 42 Somali guards. The rest of the soldiers were spread out evenly, making sure there was no place for the rebels to come in through. On the roof the special forces were taking out rebel fighters one by one with their SR-90A1E rifles. Machine guns and sniper positions on the mid floor level of the building was being fired off by the marines, who shot the machine guns in short controlled bursts. The situation was quickly turning bad for the defenders as casualties mounted. Thus far into the battle 3 marines had been killed, 5 marines wounded, 12 Somali guards killed, 22 wounded, and two Royal guard soldiers wounded. Helicopter support was called in from the sky. Two Lancet helicopters launched six missiles towards the groups of rebels that were firing at the complex. After the missiles were launched they turned began strafing runs with their 30mm Dragonblade.

The Attacks on the Barracks, and all other Impreal Military location were stopped, This was due to the overwhelming attacks and the rest needed for some of the men. However the Men were told to stop the attacks and regroup at point which is classified for saying. Helicopter attacks have been met, several were shot at, some were seeing coming down, however they have had the most damage so far, killing 35 of the Men and injuries 12 of them.

The General had ordered attacks on unexpected Air Defense Units, The Units were idle and were mostly looking for outer attacks, and never expecting an attack from the Inside. "We shall seperate in 3 groups" said the General over a radio, he was telling the Commander how to go about the battle, "How many men do you have?" he asked "about 3000" The Commander answered "Sir, You Encryption codes are making me had to hear you" The Commander reffered the Encryption that was being used "Dont Worry, Here, I want you to divide into 3 groups of 1000 each, One Group Shall attack head on, In a Surprise Move, take the Big Guns with you Artillery, as soon as they start focusing on you, I want you to send the Other From Behind, Attak them real good, As Soon as they focus on them, I want a Third Front to be opened, And I want you to you to dismantle that Air Defense Unit with all the Fire Power you have, Is that Understood" ordered the General "Yes Sir!" replied the Commander, He knew that this was the same tactic that the others were using, the same tactic that three or 4 other Air Defense Units would have to face have been told to him, "I shall prepare my men sir, Adios" told the Commander to the General in His Bunker somwhere in the rebel Held Areas. East Air Defense Units

It was 3 hours ago when the General Gave the Order to attack this Unit, It was Headed by the Commnader Mohamed Jambali, a Young and one of the best Educated Somalis, He showed the Courage of all Somalis, A Proffesor fighting next to a person who never graduated any school, a Long Military Person Fighting Next to a person who hated the Military, a Boy fighting for his freedom, a Young Man for His nation, the air was filled with courage as they came from the Front, Slowly they Opened Fire. *Boom Duh duh duh duh*

It was the First Unit Attacking, 1000 men focus on one Location, one unit, and on target, The Teh Ninjans were Surprised and took almost 2 minutes or so to respond to any fire, The Head Shells of the Defense Units were never easy to Crack, That would take all three 3000 men to do. "Well, Move, Move... 2nd Unit, start attacks!" The Commander Ordered the Second Attack from the Back to come in, It was Hard for them to manage the First attackers, Now they had another side to defend + the First Side, This was not only hard but at times impossiple. Its was then that the 3rd unit came from the Other Side, Now it was Impossiple for them to manage anything, The Commander could just feel their questions, which side will they take on? he had no idea, but his goal was achieved, He had made the move to attack, and he did, he now waited for the reason.

It was almost The Height of the Attack, as soon as the Soldiers saw they had taken one of their best attacks done, And they heard the Planes, *SHHHHHHHHHHH VOOOOOO* "What is that?" the Commander asked "Fuck! Air Units Coming, Wait!" he waited "what are the flags coming down," the Commander asked, They were flags of the Pushkan nation and a Heading that said 'Leave the Area, Bombs Away' The General was Surprised "Russian Brothers are coming, Move, Leave the Area" He ordered as the Attacking Parties left to leave the Air, Something like a Carpet Bombing was released, The Defense Units were Bombed by every Plan, which after the Bombing Released Men, Coming down by the 1000s.

You can't RP the actions of my soldiers.
You can't automatically say that you've taken over my air defenses when I haven't responded to the initial attacks.
Even if you destroyed my four anti-aircraft units I still have many more. Plus Pushka will still have to go pass my fleets to reach Mog.
I'm sure I could pick out more things but those are the ones that really stand out. Also for RP purposes I'll post the standard anti-aircraft defense unit for a company size AA unit, including equipment and soldiers.

Helicopter patrols, aircraft patrols and armoured patrols were all over Mogadishu looking for any rebels in the area. By now Mogadishu was now fully surrounded by over 5 army divisions, and all roads leading outside the city were blocked. Soldiers inside the city distributed food, water, and medicine when they weren't busy fighting rebels.

OOC: He told me that the troops will land just minutes after the come.

Teh ninja, I have in nowhere, Never said that I have taken over the Air Defense units, You seem to just Assume i say stuff, Btw, it will be beneficial if you re-read it. OOC: City Hall would be an obvious attack because it was not fortified, had the Somali governor and his family, and overlooked the entire city. It would be an obvious choice of attack. Also with 12,000 rebels manuevering around to position themselves to attack my air defenses won't you think they'll get noticed? I stand corrected about my air defenses being taken over but I still say that Pushka's aircraft wouldn't be able to get through my naval and ground defenses that easy. Also that telegram you wrote to Pushka sounded like you had defeated my air defenses.

"Similar calls have errupted from other planes and reached the HQs back on the mainland in Pushka. Kurnal Oblazov who was in charge of transportation of troops ordered everyone to be quite, once they did he gave his orders."

Oblazov: I want all the IL-72s to get to their maximum ceiling, G-105 squadrons are to shoot down the sea to air missiles and protect the cargo planes from enemy interceptors. HSB bombers are to start dropping their gifts into the sea, i want that area to be in smoke and i want it 10 minutes ago. Выполнять!

"About that time one of the ILs got hit in the wing and a huge fire errupted. After making a terrifying noise the plane went down taking 7 tanks with it. Other ILs went higher. HSBs dropped their bombs. Explosions could now be heard underneath. G-105s started shooting down missiles while at the same time batteling enemy interceptors that flew in from the aircraft carriers.

Few hours later the hot spot was passed and the pilots saw a most welcome sight, they saw land. They started looking for their preassigned landing spots.

OOC: SM hasn't cleared any land yet, he's still fighting for destroying some of my AA units. So I'd keep that post stowed away until he does.

IC:
The company size AA defense unit was caught completely by suprise by the massive Somali attack. A total of 11 soldiers were killed within minutes of the first round. However, after establishing a solid 360 degree defense network the Ninjan soldiers began firing off their machine guns and rifles in rapid succession. The Yorktown Anti-aircraft artillery guns, and the Vulcan Anti-Aircraft Artillery guns switched from Ariel operations to ground operations. Soon the 30mm heavy eight barreled cannons began pouring out an immense amount of firepower. The guns on these machines could pull 3,000 rounds a minutes, kicking up a dirt cloud around the defenses. The massive dirt cloud made it almost impossible for firing at targets. The anti-aircraft guns, and the soldiers however had Infrare Red goggles which allowed them to see through the dirt. Soon Ninjan soldiers were engaging Somali rebels before the somali's could even see them.

Still the amount of rebels engaging them was almost overwhelming. A desperate cry for help was echoed out through the channels.

"This is AA unit 1-2-1-2-B. We are receiving overwhelming fire from rebel fighters. Estimations are at 800-2,000 fighters. Request immediate support."

"AA Unit 1-2-1-2B, this is Command and Control Mog. Howitzer battery being re-directed towards you. Their channel is at 6-4-5-5-Alpha-Whiskey. Inbound ariel support coming in the form of Su-54 ground attack fighters. A total of four are being sent to your vicinty. Back up in the form of five Lancet helicopters coming in as well. Expect those in awhile though. Goodluck."

The commander of the unit immediately switched channels to the artillery transmission.

"Artillery command, this is AA Unit 1-2-1-2B. Request fire mission at Tango-Alpha-Alpha-Lima-1-5. Repeat Tango-Alpha-Alpha-Lima-1-5. Fire for effect."

"AA Unit 1-2-1-2B this is Golden Sling. Order acknowledged."

Within a minute of the acknowledgment a barrage of 155mm, and 203mm anti-personnel artillery shells landed at the rebels location. The concussion from the barrage nearly made some soldiers deaf. Despite their artillery support the soldiers continued to fight as hard as ever. The artillery fire continued on at a slower rate, some 3-5 rounds a minute for every artillery piece which is a total of 30-50 rounds a minute.

Seeing how important securing our AA sites were command ordered three full mechanized infantry divisions to the other AA sites around the coastal region. These soldiers were ordered to fortify, and defend the stations from any more rebel attacks.

From Northern Somalia, twelve more army divisions were sent south to the cities which had recent rebel activities. To replace the twelve divisions, fifteene pro-Ninjan regime Somali divisions were constructed on the local populace. Six army divisions still remained in the area however.
OOC2:For the RP's sake we'll just say this all happened at the same four AA locations. Expect the aircraft to arrive in my next post.

Command, realising that the attack against the AA unit was large, immediately ordered two mechanized infantry divisions to route the rebel somali's attacking the defenses. The 42,000 strong task force would split it's forces into two and attack from both the West and East, squeezing the Somali's into a small pocket where they would be easier to defeat.

OOC: Well my troops are still flying in, so if Samali doesn't accomplish its objective in next four posts i am just gonna redo my entrance post, dropping in my airborne batalions first to help secure the area from your forces. I'll wait for now.

OOC: Ok, I just ask that you RP them taking off and them let me RP the fighters and such being sent to attack the inbound aircraft.

Well my G-105 jet fighters and my HSB bombers both use a little thing i'd like to call Ionic Cloud Generator, now its a real thing, exists in real life and what it does is make your aircraft completely invisible to radar then turned on. But it consums lots of energy so can not be operated for too long, just so you know, the actual stats on some of my stuff you can find in my Military outline thread, link is in the siggy.

You said that there would be too much heat from friction, well that can be easily fixed by adding heat resistant materials to the planes surface. You brought up some more points and i will counter them later since nationstates is down and i need to look over your TGs again.

Just thought I'd throw my two cents in here.

Pushka, while hypersonic speed may be achievable in a vacuum, I seriously have to doubt any assertion that an aircraft can withstand the intense amount of heat that Mach 4+ atmospheric flight produces. Look at it this way, the lower you are, the thicker the atmosphere is. As a result, a body traveling through the medium will receive resistance from the passing air, which creates friction. This is the reason why low-flying cruise missiles and sea-skimmers generally don't go too much faster than Mach 2.5, since any higher speed than that will cause the projectile to burn apart.

Furthermore, at speeds over Mach 5, the pressure waves that are normally generated during supersonic flight (sonic booms) start increasing both in frequency and strength, eventually to the point where the jetstream that pass through the shock waves are bent as they pass between the shock wave and the surface of the aircraft fuselage. This causes your plane to experience enormous turbulence, and the surrounding air gets very, very hot. This heat is then transferred to your airframe, putting even more stress on it. As for heat resistant materials, I seriously have to wonder what miracle of mechanical engineering will allow you to make a structure that allows for sustained temperatures in excess of 1,000 degrees centigrade.

Finally, your aircraft's shape itself is unsuited to the stresses of hypersonic flight since it has a thin and pointy nose, like most conventional designs. This is good for most operations in supersonic speeds, but once you achieve Mach 5, the shockwaves start converging on that single point, resulting in aerodynamic heating. This phenomenon was discovered by a NASA researcher in the 1950s, and is the reason why the space shuttle is built with a blunt nose.

Look at it this way, the lower you are, the thicker the atmosphere is. As a result, a body traveling through the medium will receive resistance from the passing air, which creates friction. This is the reason why low-flying cruise missiles and sea-skimmers generally don't go too much faster than Mach 2.5, since any higher speed than that will cause the projectile to burn apart.

Furthermore, at speeds over Mach 5, the pressure waves that are normally generated during supersonic flight (sonic booms) start increasing both in frequency and strength, eventually to the point where the jetstream that pass through the shock waves are bent as they pass between the shock wave and the surface of the aircraft fuselage. This causes your plane to experience enormous turbulence, and the surrounding air gets very, very hot. This heat is then transferred to your airframe, putting even more stress on it. As for heat resistant materials, I seriously have to wonder what miracle of mechanical engineering will allow you to make a structure that allows for sustained temperatures in excess of 1,000 degrees centigrade.

Finally, your aircraft's shape itself is unsuited to the stresses of hypersonic flight since it has a thin and pointy nose, like most conventional designs. This is good for most operations in supersonic speeds, but once you achieve Mach 5, the shockwaves start converging on that single point, resulting in aerodynamic heating. This phenomenon was discovered by a NASA researcher in the 1950s, and is the reason why the space shuttle is built with a blunt nose.

Yes, of course I know of what air-breathing engines are, but again, my issue is not with the aircraft's ability to reach those speeds but rather its ability to resist the stress and heat produced by them. The X-43A SCRAMjet technology demonstrator that you mentioned achieved Mach 7 speed at 95,000 feet above sea level, where the atmosphere is thin enough where the heat from the friction of the aircraft's movement through the medium is sufficiently low enough. On the other hand, your aircraft, with its operational ceiling of 20,000 meters (slightly more than 65,600 ft above sea level) will be moving through much thicker air in the stratosphere. The result is that you will definitely suffer from airframe heating due to friction.

Also, you still have not refuted my point regarding the fighter's ability to resist the airframe pressure from achieving hypersonic flight at relatively-low altitudes. It is, quite frankly, impossible to make anything that will be able to withstand the intense heat produced from such high speeds.

Its been a week already but for the men of the 88th special forces but it only felt like just two days. They were finally headed toward their destination to aid their fellow Slavic people in the fight for independence. The city of Kismayo was to be their first target. They would parachute into the night sky and quickly eradicate the enemies within the city. Then the Pantheans would hook up with local resistance leaders and provide assistance. It was a simple mission but yet so complex, not to mention an overwhelming task for a light infantry with no support.

“20 seconds…..” said a man near the entrance to the bay door. Tensions increase among the soldiers, Pantheaa was but a 3rd world nation, the army had little supplies and ammo to go with. In fact the men of the 88th trusted their daggers more then their AK’s. But this did not worry the 200 elite soldiers. They could always pick up equipment from the Nijian died. A member of the Panthean special forces had only one mission, to unleash all of hell’s fury on the enemy. In just seconds,
the Nijian army would be hit by a surprise attack from the air.


“7 seconds….” shouted the officer at the door. Seconds seemed like hours. The cold Somalia air can be felt to all in the C7 aircraft. One could only see pitch black darkness out of the planes tiny windows. Lights in the aircraft turned from red to green. The bay door opened. The attack had begun. Destiny and fate was the only thing a soldier could think of now. Better pray to whatever god or gods there maybe. Hopefully if they were lucky the enemy anti-aircraft artillery will be blind, stupid or asleep

"Target inbound bearing Alpha-Charlie-Echo-9 Sector 4. Designation possible bomber, or transport aircraft"

On the ground 36 MIM-23 Hawk SAMs, 18 PAC-3G, and 27 Ninha SAM systems began targetting the incoming aircraft. Twelve Sergeant Yorktown, and six Vulcan anti-aircraft artillery positioned themselves in the presumed landing zone of the incoming aircraft. Soldiers were alerted of a possible airborne attack.

Due to Kismayo's location near Jenkins Naval Base, 12 Su-52 air superiority fighters were launched off from the adjacent airbase.

"Iron Base, this is Golden Eagle. Target has been confirmed at Sector 5. Request permission to launch attack sequence."

At a range of 200 kilometers the aircraft launched two AIM-315A Spear missiles(24 total). The missiles course was watched and directed by a nearby AWAC who was deployed to the region.

"Golden Eagle, this is Watchtower. Base has informed me to move away from the area and be on stand-by. Long range and meduim range SAM attack imminent."

The twelve aircraft left the battle zone, their missiles still running straight and normal.

On the ground the permission to launch missiles was granted by the nearby command headquarters. Immediately SAM crews waited for the right moment to launch thier missiles. Once the distinctive beep noise began ringing out the launch button was pressed. A total of 81 inbound SAM missiles were heading straight to the enemy bombers.

Ison was sitting on a wooden chair in his office. He preferred this crude, ugly item to his oak desk a few meters away. On a nearby table were stacks of papers he needed to review and sign, mostly official announcements and the bureaucratic needs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The largest file, one which dominated the stack of paper work, was that related to the rebellion in Ninjinian Somalia. He would read that folder last. Slowly, he rested his eyeglasses on his nose, when a knock was heard at the door.

"Yes?" he almost hissed at the unwelcome intruder. "Lord Ison, an urgent development in the Ninjinian crisis." Ison sighed angrily, before opening the door and letting the female aide in. When he saw the papers she was carrying, he wrestled them from her hands aggressively, before depositing them in the already bulky folder on his desk.

"Lord, I would advise that you read that note as soon as possible."

"Your advice is not needed, woman! Remove yourself from my office."

"Yes Lord, but I must tell you, we are now involved in the Ninjinian affair, heavily. And we need to release a statement immediately."

The Lord grimaced. Involved in the Ninjinian affair? What the hell was she talking about. He turned to look up at the aide, but she was gone. He opened the folder and took out the piece of paper.. A peace conference? Here?

OOC: I don't have a time right now to figure out an answer, i will however have that time during the weekends. Anyways, as it stands now a plane traveling at mach 6.3 is possible even if it does fall apart as you claim (funny how you guessed the temperature number to be 1000 farenheit) so i shall not change anything in my write up. If my pilots will go above mach 4, then their plane will crush if they try to maintain that speed. Are you happy now? I will however figure out a solution, but for now, how about we just RP. Sounds good?

The orders came to the now rather large fleet posistioned 200 nautical miles from Somalia to return to the bases. Three destroyer, two frigate and one cruiser squadron(s) headed for their base in the Chagos Archipelagio, totally unaware of the Ninjan fleet approaching the same destination.
