Today at the Kratloctostanian capital of Emira,400,000 protesters demanded the government become a communist form. The rally began to get violent as it erupted into a riot.Police began to disrupt this meeting and were met with resistance which erupted into full scale combat. The KPA (Kratloctostanian People's Army) attacked with small arms and explosives.They quickly stormed the Presidential Palace and killed the Palace. Yakov J. Korchesky is the new head of government and is asking for help in finding the Government-In-Exile of Kratloctostan.

In response to this, Space Union asks the communist government to stand down and reinstall the real government. If not Space Union does not recognize the government of Kratloctostan. We are cutting all diplomatic stances against the government and will continue to follow the situation.

The Everonian State Department condemns the actions taken by the KPA. Not only their choice to become a communist state, but their method of installing this new government is revolting. Everonia demands that the KPA relinquish its power and put the former government back in place. If this is not done so, the Nation of Everonia will be forced to do it ourselves, or with any allies we can recruit. Today, 1400 hours: In an emergency meeting of the Durma, senators voted 671-79 in favor of bill 31822, or the "Kratloctostan KPA resolution." The President addressed the joint meeting and appealed for them to pass the bill. The durma did so with little opposition, which chiefly came from the isolationist of the heartland providences. "The KPA have overthrown a democratically elected government, and installed an extremist form of communism in place of it. This transfer of power came after a bloody coup which ended in the murder of goverment officials and innocent civilians. Everonia will not stand for this. OCC: My nation and I have no problem with communism, but what we do have problems with are autocratic governments such as the one that just elected itself in Kratloctostan.

Finland -at least in those phalansteries paying attention to Iskra!'s coverage of events in Kratloctostan- rang with supportive shouts for any element of true progress that might burn in the fires of that nation's young revolution. "Representation is a denial of participation!" and, "All power to the Soviets!" sounded in response to reactionary condemnation of the people's desperate bid for change.

The Commonwealth was much too busy dealing with the better part of four and a third billion hangovers for any unitied action to be directed against the hot-headed counter revolutionaries, for now.

The People's Army will have to fight a two front war which will make it easier for their army to collapse. It seems quite obvious to me that 400,000 protestors and some armed murderers don't represent the sentiment of 256 million people. Our main problem with the KPA is that they chose violent upheaval in their country, which leads to war, poverty, dispair etc etc. If they had chosen a peaceful way, such as appealing to the world; like those UN folks, they would just love to sanction the bad governments and install peacekeepers to insure a free Kratloctostan. But no, they chose violent overthrow of a government that might not have the best leadership or plans for the people of Kratloctostan.

Today: 2100 hours: The 20th, 4th and 1st fleets are being ordered to leave observation points near Sigma Octavus, and will join fleets 7th and 19th in 9 real time hours. Reserve forces are now being put on alert. The interior ministry has begun to tighten boarders and round up known communist sympethizers and activists nationals living inside our boarders. The plane is taxied down to the end of the runway as it prepares to take off for Kratloctostanian territorial area's. After takeoff it will take an approximated 14:30 hours to reach the territorial wayers of Kratloctostan. Several Marines, a fire team of 15 and 5 drivers, have been placed aboard the aircraft to help defend the members of the associated press during their stay in Kratloctostan. In the cargo area of the Beoing 777, there are several vehicles, 5 in total. They are new troop transport vehicles designed by Shazbotdom Military Research and Development under the cooperation with the Shazbotdom Motor Vehicle Manufactureres Association.

I will open up with a large amount of cruise missiles, to destroy any airbases or military depots visible. We will then find a week spot to land on, land the Naval Infantry and use the fleets for fire support until the Army arrives with its main battle tanks.

Currently they are located in the area but not inside the borders. I will use cruise missles, railgun fire, and 40" shell fires to bombard the communist.

Secret IC: Carpet bombing is not recommended at this time, he still has AAA and air defense at full deployment. We cannot carpet bomb until we have air supremacy, because we have limited fighter support. Bombing of civilian areas is not recommended either, for it will become a tool for their propagandists. We have hundreds of AS-14 missiles ready to destroy major infastructure and military sites, but we must keep it contained to military sites otherwise it will be harder to rebuild them later.

Wait for Kratloctostan to post the updated map before further attacks. When he gets it up I will mark up military plans for us.

OOC: I will begin the invasion tomarrow, setting up a new computer right now. I will mark a map of my troop movements for the assault, perhaps make a more detailed map of the country too.

IC: (The Battlecruisers and Missile Cruisers are what I have for Missile attack, I am going to open this campaign up with Massed rocket attack on any and all visble military instillations, but any underground or moved bases wont be targeted. My fleet is currently just north of the map. I am assuming you have some SAM and AAA inplace to attempt to shoot down these missiles.)

The red light lit up, the com officer's eyes widened, he turned his chair around to the deck and stood up.

"Very well, get the other fleets on the horn, tell them to launch operations."

The general quarters alarms began to ring out as crew took to their positions. Pilots suited up, missile guidence officers put in final calculations, and the Naval Infantry loaded up.

We are willing to help replace this corrupt goverment with a democratic one. We can pledge 2 Marine Legions (100,000 men each) for the invasion, and 8 Guard Legions for occupying.

If we may join, I would suggest using missiles and targeting AA sites. My marines are experts at Airborne landings, and could disrupt the KPA's supply lines.
