Berlin, East German SSR-West Germany Border
Relations had been slowly getting worse between the Soviet Union and West Germany. Over the past years, a mild dictatorship had been forming amongst the heads of state in West Germany. Famine had stricken most of the country due to a fall-out of their economy resulting in Soviet sympathy and support. Many West Germans had attempted to immigrate to the USSR and had been denied access by the West German government.

Negotiations to annex West Germany and unite it under the new title of the German Soviet Socialist Republic had miserably failed, but last weeks denial of welfare to the poor was the straw that broke the camels' back. Thus, the Red Army had began to mobilise in East Germany preparing for a push into the West German Territory. This came after three days of notified bombing of the administrative and industrial cores of West Germany. Spetsnaz operations had taken place in West Berlin causing political unrest amongst the heads of state and the parties of West Germany. The West German Communist Party had grown in power, was continuely hendered by The German Loyalist Party which was rumored to be responsible for the deaths of several key Communists in the West German party. Thus, the USSR decided to intervene.

At roughly 0530 Hours, troops commence an immediate push into West Berlin and quickly occupied the previously bombed capital. Military officials were quickly rounded up and arrested by the Soviet Military Police and sent to East Germany for further questioning. The political parties of the West German state were abolished spare the West German Communist Party which was united with the EGCP into the Communist Party Of The German SSR.

Once the central administrative district of Berlin was seized, other districts began to fall into anarchy and were quickly obsolved into the Soviet state. Altogether, 113 Red Army comrades fell at the hands of capitalists in German uniforms and 698 German soldiers died at the hands of comrades. However, each comrade fell for a pupose which is better above all else: unity. The East and West German republics were united as the German SSR.

"As of 8 PM Local time today (April 7, 2005) the West German state has fallen and merged with the East German SSR to create the German SSR. The position of Govenor-General of the GSSR is suspected to be filled by the former Govenor-General of the EGSSR. I hope that a new age of liberation and freedom has began in the German state so that the people may be free and un-afraid of their comrades. Stay tuned for further information."

Unnamed Facility In South Korea
"The time has come to set aside our differences," spoke an elderly Korean man to a small audience, "The time has come for unity. The North Korean SSR - with support from the Soviets - wishes to unite the Korean peninsula under the title of the Korean Soviet Socialist Republic. For far too long have we stood divided by differences. Far to long have our people suffered for age old bickering. I request that we unite..." The small audience sat in silence, waiting for either an applause, or gunfire. For tens of years the north and the south have remained seperated due to the Korean War, yet, with the newly created North Korean SSR an era of tolerance and freedom has spread to the Korean peninsula. Soviet support has grown in the southern portions of the peninsula and the Communist Party has grown more powerful in the previous years.

Slowly a man in the audience stood, "I agree.. We should unite...," the other audience memembers turned and looked at the man. The relatively young man then raised his fist high and began shouting, "Unity! Unity! Unity!" Othr audience members stood and followed his example. The Korean states would unite as the Korean SSR.

"Breaking news from the USSR. For decades the Korean peninsula has stayed seperated by war and internal strife, now, the north and the south have united to create the Korean Soviet Socialist Republic. The USSR has promised that humanitarian aid will be spread amongst the less fortunate and a new breeze of unity and freedom will sweep across the republic as it is embraced by comradeship. Good luck comrades."

Well I must say Comrade that this is unexpected. The Imperial Commonwealth is surprised, and weary. Of course it is rather hypocritcal for us to be critical of this, since we too are imperialist. But the fact of the matter (even though we are allies) is that the Soviet Union is getting very large and very militaristic, we just hope that diplomacy will always be your first weapon on the international battlefield. Other then that, you have our complete approval and support. We just hope no human rights abuses occur, which they won't, right? Anyway, good luck on this Mir Initiative.

I am glad to see Korea unite after these many years of fighting and the same for Germany. However I am saddened that there fates ended up becoming communist states. Anyways good luck on rebuilding and if you need any economical help just give Greece a call and we will arrange something.
