Today marks the end of an era. The end of the independance of Random Kingdom. Defeated by the Holy Empire of Farmina, and by a defector on the RK side, RK is to be taken over by Farmina and a new government installed.

Some rebels have survived, but are habiting the neighbouring regions in the Golden Hills.

The majority of the population of RK has taken their own lives, after preparing the environment for Farmina (razing buildings to the ground, digging up major beauty spots).

OOC: RK will probably cease to exist, but a new nation will soon be created. If RK does not cease, it will most likely play the rebels.

Official Statement from The Imperial Commonwealth of The Island of Rose:

We are willing to supply the rebels with equipment to free themselves from
Farminan despotism. We too know how it felt to be dominated by foreign powers and we are ignorant to your plight. If you request anything, it will be transferred to you. We can send men, equipment, warships, whatever until you are free... or until we lose. The Imperial Congress is deciding whether to declare war or stay out of it. You shall know soon.

Emperor Justinian has declined to comment at this point saying only, that he "deeply regrets all loss of life," and is mildly concerned "that the Random Kingdom military used a nuclear weapon to decimate New Haven."

He promises a full speech later.

OOC: It's New Hope. Also, it is a small, primitive nuke. Some of the important objects in NH (namely the Yggdrassil system and Core technology) had backups or mirrors in other areas of RK which haven't been touched, so the effort to make RK as fruitless as possible has been mostly futile.
