On April the 15th, 2005 I have a lot of cash on defence due to my excessive amount of tax spent on this (50%) and my high currency (1 Reichs Standard = $1.5984). This can be found out using Thirdgeek (http://nseconomy.thirdgeek.com/nseconomy.php?nation=Guffingford). My current income tax is one hundred percent.

But the point of this thread? Well, when someone reaches page 1 of the world they tend to post that remarkable achievement. Today I have also made a remarkable achievement. I have more money on defence than Russian Forces, Dr_Twist, Bob-Bob, Automagfreek, GMC Military Arms, Santa Barbara, Melkor Unchained, Crimmond, Euroslavia, Sketch, Tremalkier, Nianacio, Belem, Garrison II, Wolfish, The Resi Corporation...

Can't think of anymore big names I want to check right now. Praise my omnipotence!

ooc: You shouldn't use the third geek budget system its way too weird and quirky. After I calculate my GDP I make up my own budget based on my needs of course with defense getting the lions share.

If you have 0% on defence and you're an amazing writer, you can't have the most advanced stuff around I reckon.

Defense spending means nothing if that's all you've got.

For shits and giggles, I've started logging UN stats:

Automagfreek is ranked 1st in the region and 484th in the world for Largest Information Technology Sector.

Guffingford is ranked 11th in the region and 2,706th in the world for Largest Information Technology Sector.

Automagfreek is ranked 2nd in the region and 262nd in the world for Largest Manufacturing Sector.

Guffingford is ranked 13th in the region and 3,578th in the world for Largest Manufacturing Sector.

And I can already promise that my automobile manufacturing beats yours, as mine is very high (means lot's o good tanks during wartime production).

Your sector's may be bigger, but I have more on defence. And my nation is always in a permanent state of war, so I have damn fine tanks at any given moment! And an ordinary carfactory can't really be transferred into some high-tech tank or humvee factory in the blink of an eye.

Still, I have more on defence than AMF and Pantera! Hurray for me.

Does anyone else think this thread is pointless?...here, let's find something we can all agree on. According to ThirdGeek, alll you all's defense spending owns mine.

Your sector's may be bigger, but I have more on defence.

My sectors are higher up on the scale, therefore I do not need to spend as much money thanks to my large resource pool.

And my nation is always in a permanent state of war, so I have damn fine tanks at any given moment! And an ordinary carfactory can't really be transferred into some high-tech tank or humvee factory in the blink of an eye.

AMF is always in a state of war as well, and is able to produce wartime goods at an alarming rate. Also, I know for fact I am ranked very high on the 'fastest growing economies' scale, 'mining sector', and fairly high in 'uranium mining'. Also, for what it's worth, AMF is like 50th in the world for most 'politically apethetic', and very high for 'best healthcare'.

High defense spending is alright, but if you don't have anything else supporting your infrastructure it really means nothing in the grand scale of things.

Still, I have more on defence than AMF and Pantera! Hurray for me.

And I have a larger population and a larger GDP. Is that a reason to brag? No. Very few players on this site rely on ThirdGeek in the first place, so honestly I could care less.

However, it will be interesting to see how AMF stacks up against Guffingford in the UN stats.

Extreme sense of realism? No, going off of UN stats is no more realistic than ThirdGeek in my eyes. If you can flaunt high defense spending, why can't I flaunt all my other sectors that are very high in ranking?

And I'm ranked 1,409th in the world for Largest Cheese Export Sector. Perhaps I should start selling cheese, although my basket weaving sector is fairly low (to my knowledge). So if you want cheese in a basket, you'd have to go somewhere else for the basket.

Anyway, I've never cared one way or the other about my standings. Sure, it's fun to look and say "Yeah bitch. I'm #1 in the WORLD for being ''The Most Funk-Tastic Muffuckaz on Earth", but what counts in the end is roleplaying. And if you can describe the massive bulge under my chainmail leggings as well as I can, I shall relinquish my claim and you may take your place as the Most Funk-Tastic Muffucka on Earth.
