With a vote of 60% today Congress has passed the "Title Law" which basically says that anyone in a high position in the Government, aka the Imperial Council and some Senators, will receive new titles. This includes Rosta Einvach, Tanya Zukov, Sergei Ilyanov, Wilhem von Sturben, and Nicholas Haven. Also, Majority Leader Alexandr Ultinska, Minority Leader Frank Hapsberg, and Speaker of Congress Anthony Calvus will also receive titles. Most of them are either supporting this bill or are indifferent to it. But Sergei has a statement.

"The fact of the matter is, people are created equal. But if we go giving ourselves pompous titles we will forget what the Island is all about, equality. Of course I can't complain, now I sound even more important."

The Imperial President found this as a victory. Now the new titles for the Chancellors and Senators.

Supreme Interim Minister of Foreign Affairs Jacob Salinas, as his title has been since the disappearance of the Queen, shuffled through piles and piles of paper. Ever since the Lerathen has dissapeared, the cabinet has been flooded with beurocracy as everything had to be remade while the Queen is still missing.
One news brief, however, recieved a bit more attention than the others. Wether his notice of it was intentional or not, Salinas decided to read the brief. He chuckled as he realized the slight parallelism between the two nations. For one reason or another, Liebermonk and The Island of Rose have had massive name changes in their politicians. Rose's reason, as Salinas noticed, seemed to be a furthering of the nation's imperial ways.
"Eh, why not? They can do what they want with their political names. Might as well send them a note showing our support for the government..."
