The nation of Arkentrope is proud to be able to present and distribute to prospective customers, the 'MA-1000 Medium Powered Armor'. Recent renovations and breakthroughs in Nano-tech have allowed Arkentropian scientists to develop these highly versatile, general-purpose mechanized armor suits.

Each MA-1000 is designed for prolonged optimal performance in the field of battle. The MA-1000's custom-designed, 'Torrent' hydrogen fusion power cores allow for a service life of approx. 240 years, and an effective range of over 50,000 miles. Durability also plays a forefront role in the MA-1000's profile, as the entire suit assembly is composed of a nigh-indestructible Titanium-Durasteel alloy. This revolutionary alloy allows for incredible strength and low weight, allowing the MA-1000 to maintain a high rate of agility while remaining well-protected from threats.

As for armament, each MA-1000 comes off the assembly line with standard equipment, which includes dual shoulder-mounted 25mm anti-personnel machine gun assemblies, rear-mounted Electronic Counter-measures, and arm-mounted 60mm linear rail cannon, designed for maximum armor penetration at range. In addition to this, the MA-1000 comes equipped with modular base points, which are compatible with most modular weapons systems, thus allowing for full and optimal customization.

Of course, this kind of versatility and reliance does not come cheap. But as part of our special introductory offer, the Nation of Arkentrope is offering the 'MA-1000 Medium Powered Armor' at a special one-time rate of $1,200,000/unit. As for customers who would wish to buy in bulk, we are offering discount rates of 2% per dozen units ordered. And if one were inclined to purchase so many, this would increase to 10% per gross units ordered.

Once the order is placed, please allow 2 to 3 weeks for manufacture and transport of the purchased units.

That's infantry based powered armour, you do realise. Mechs are designed to fly and fight spacebattles, right? Powered armour was always for the ground, I thought.

The MA-1000 is indeed, a land-based infantry augmentation suit. Think of something like the BattleArmor from Mechassault 2, and you're close.

So we're talking basically a suit of armor for a soldier to wear in battle? If so, I'll buy five for now.

True, some mechs are even more manueverable in the air than fighters of the same tech level.

I would like to purchase 10 MA-1000/MA-800 (whatever they are) units for comparison with our Cyclone power armor. If you wish, visit our storefront Mechatech (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=366694&page=1&highlight=mechatech)

Edit: Due to sudden and severe circumstances, public availability to the MA-1000 Medium Powered Armor is now prohibited. Slayrule and Megas, your payments have been returned to your national accounts and your orders have been cancelled. The Nation of Arkentrope apoligizes for this unfortunate turn of events.
