OOC: This is a follow-up to an earlier thread of mine. As such those originally involved are welcome to return, and new people can join. Please only send 1 team of special forces, not an entire army.

IC: It had been 1 year since Section 21 had become a designated ghost site. According to all government reports, the facility had been destroyed by a tactical nuke after an unknown chemical agent had been released and quartentine broken. However satellite photos told a different story. The facility remained standing, a silent tomb for the genetic plague that it held at bay. Perhaps, now not even the most advanced genetics lab on Earth can hold the plague at bay. Silently "they" had survived, and "they" had evolved. A foul race of creatures not meant to walk this Earth. The outcome of 2 years of painstaking research. However a mysterious accident had cut the staff's research short. Now the time was approaching to re-enter the hive and find the truth. A secret message was sent to the leaders of the world. It read as follows:
To whom it may concern:
One year ago, our primary genetic research facility, codenamed: Section 21, was the victim of an accident. Shenyang now plans to send in forces to clear the area. However we wish for the rest of the world to assist in wiping this plague from the Earth.

An undisclosed location:
Inside the Operation Detatchment Shock Troops HQ there was a rare spectacle. All 4 ODST teams were gathered in the same place, normally there would be one or ywo teams at the HQ, but now there were all four, sitting in the briefing room, waiting for their commanding officer, an ODST with the callsign of Revenant, to begin. Next to him stood a man in the uniform of a brigadier general, Revenant himself was dressed, as per his own tastes, in his full tactical armor, he held the helmet under one arm. In his other hand was a remote control for the virtual projector in the back wall.

Revenant: Okay, men. You all remember the mission into Section 21?

ODSTs: Sir, yes sir!

Revenant: Good, you'd better, we was forced to leave 'em alive last time we were in there, I thing those of us who are a little sore about that might finally be able to let go after our next assignment. Now, I know how you feel about non-ODST, but I want you to show Brigadier General Oniell the respect you show me. 'Cuz if you don't I'm still in the room to take you out.

Gen. Oneill: Thank you, Revenant, that will be all for the moment. If I could have the remote I'll begin.

Revenant hands the general the remote to the projector and takes a seat in the front row, along with the rest of ODST team Alpha. The general pressed the button to begin the program and the projector created a virtual image of the Section 21 facility on the wall behind him.

Gen. Oneill: As of 22:00 SST yesterday the high council has authorized the reentry of "the hive" As you all know "the hive" is designated as Section 21, the former genetics lab you attempted to clean up last year, and were forced to pull out of.
The council has invited foreign special forces to join you in an attempt to ascertain exactly what happened down there, and to eliminate the Shamblers. We sent in a clean-up team after you pulled out last year. They were never heard from again, we also want you to recover their dog tags so we can give them to the families. The hive has remained sealed since we lost contact with a second team, which was sent in 6 months ago. Here was the last transmission from that team. The video is blurred, but the audio shuld still give you an idea of what's still down there.

The general pressed the button and a blurry video began to be projected.

Voice: Mitchells, stay close, these things aren't gonna be push-overs, they'll go for the first guy to stray away or fall behind.

Mitchells: Understood Sarge, kinda eery down here. Wait! Did you see that?!
*camera image nods*

Sargeant: What? I didn't see anything, don't this place get to you Mitchells! Focus!

Voice2: Sarge, I'm detecting multiple tangoes inbound, dead ahead, looks like 50 meters.

Sargeant: Got it Mendoza. Alright lets set the table for these things. Everybody prepare to engage.

Mendoza: 40 meters, 30, 20, 15, Sir! Its right on top of us sir!

Sargeant: I see 'em. Fire! Fire at will!

Gunfire pierces the audio and muzzle flashes light the corridor as the team fired on the Shambler moving toward them.

Mendoza: Its not going down!

Sargeant: Fall back, get back to the elevator, we'll hold it off from there!

The camera turns and the person carrying it is obviously retreating to the elevator as ordered. Then the camera falls. and a shriek is heard.

Mendoza: That thing got Mitchells! Lets get out of here!

A few moments later all sound stops.

Gen. Oneill: Only the sargeant made it out, and he was badly wounded. We're sure that is entire team is dead. He suffered a broken arm and several lacerations. He said after the Shambler took out his squad he took it out as it charged him, we haven't been able to confirm that. However the worst part is that from his descriptions and that transmission we've learned that there are more species down there than we thought. The SHamblers are evolving. And we can't let that happen. Your mission is to go in and wipe out the Shamblers, and to find out what happened down there.

Revenant: Okay, so we go in and kick their ass again. Then we find out how they got out. Is that about right?

Gen. Oneill: Yes, thats pretty much your mission. You'll be briefed on site. You leave in 2 hours.

The ODST rise and file out of the room, they move to the locker rooms and begin to suit up. After they dressed they moved to the armory. There they picked up their weapons for this mission. When Revenant enterred the armory he walked one of the stations, it was locked shut. He took out a key and openned station. Inside was a .45 SOCOM, an AK-110L rifle, and a pair of customized UMP sub-machine guns. He took out the weapons and holstered them after checking everything to make sure that it was adjusted correctly.

Each ODST team loaded onto a DC-117A Scimitar dropship for the ride to Section 21. The Scimitars lifted off vertically and then transitioned to forward flight once they reached 100 feet. They began to make the journey to Section 21.

Revenant: Okay, so the Shamblers have mutated, right Polaris?

Polaris: That sounds right to me. They may have finally worked out the problems in their designs themselves by now.

Revenant: I doubt it, just in case I want everyone at the top of their game. You guys got that?

Alpha Team: Yes Sir!

Revenant: Damn right.

"DRT!!"

"Dead Right There, sir!!!"

"Get on the shuttle!!"

"Sir, yes, Sir!"

The Deaths head legion was en route to Section 21, ETA 4 hours, what awaited them, none knew, when it was over they would wish they did not know. 4 hours later, the DRT commandos arrive on site at Section 21, greeted by ODST troops they prepared to get their breifing.

Securia will be sending in a special forces team.

General: "We're going to send Captain Sequa and a team of special forces to take out some monsters or whatever in Section 21."

Corporal Jolt: "What is this? Charity day? Sequa's all over the place, first Ravenstad, then they decide they don't want us there. Then Sequa's headed to Portshire but the chopper gets shot down in Farmina, now you're gonna send Sequa to fight a bunch of monsters?"

General: "You're going too."

Jolt: "Why me?"

General: "Well since the whole deal with the Black Muramasa lab had the highest mortality rate of any operation Bleland had ever undertaken, and that you managed to survive we figured you'd make a good addition."

Jolt: "Oh man, as long as Securia doesn't send Black ops to take me out."

General: "Well that was Bleland and there was a lot of corruption there, it's not gonna happen."

Jolt: "Who with, Delta Force?"

General: "No such luck, regular Marines."

OOC: Jolt is my protagonist for this thread, um, yeah they're on their way.

The Scimitars arrived at the field command center outside "the hive." They landed and the ODST exited. They walked into the command center fully armed and ready for action. They walked into a room marked: BRIEFING ROOM and sat down. Several took there helmets off, others checked that their weapons were still in operational condition. Still others merely zoned out and began to day dream. Then a woman in a major's uniform entered. She introduced herself as Major Eva Lym and gave a quick salute to the team leaders.

Maj. Eva: Since you were last here things have gotten a bit more, subdued, shall we say. The Shamblers have mostly retreated into the lower 8 floors of the facility, however once they notice your presence they'll be everywhere. Now you are all familiar with the four original species down there, but we have isolated signatures for at least 2 more new species.

Revenant: Excuse me, Major Eva, but, I think you might be wrong about that. You see, when we were down there, we encountered a new super-shambler. And that was about a year ago. So you might want to recheck that data, I'd bet there are more mutant species down there than you think.

Maj. Eva: Okay, we'll look into that. Anyway, the Shamblers seem to be much more comfortable down there than they were when you were there last. They seem to have even set up their own nests. The nests are located in the lower floors.

Eva activated a projection and the facility appeared again, this time with certain rooms highlighted with orange to signify that they were nests.

Maj. Eva: As you can see, the mess hall, communications room and main lab are their primary nests. They have smaller nests elsewhere, but these are the main ones to look out for. I assume you came with C4.

Revenant: Of course, what kind of shock troops would we be without C4. Heck, I think we could demolish this place with the amount on the Scimitars. But, I assume you don't want us to do that, right?

Maj. Eva: No, we don't want you bringing the place down. If possible we'd like the place back in as few pieces as you can.

Polaris: Fine, ruin our fun! We'll try to keep it in a couple pieces. But we sure as hell aren't cleaning the place for you.

Maj. Eva: One more crack like that and you'll be looking at a court-marshal.

Polaris:*under breath* Oh! I'm so scared! The mean lady's gonna tell on me!

Maj. Eva: What was that?

Polaris: Nothing, nothing at all.

Maj. Eva: The Shamblers are still rather agitated from your first attack. They might not be very happy to see our friends the ODST here, however you (talking to DRT) they probably won't recognize. They'll still treat you like a threat, but the ODST are like satan to those things from what we can tell, in short their not gonna be too happy to see anyone who goes in. Thats the end of this briefing, if you'll please move to the armory we can give you a basic overview of how effective your weapons will be. I'm sure the ODST will be happy to tell you what will and won't work well on the Shamblers. Don't worry, we've got a fully stocked arsenal here, so if you need to switch your weapon it won't be a problem.

Gas masks flipping onto their faces, theyir appearance meancingly and lumberish, the elitists of the squad Plague began to bring their weapons up to speed, including everything possible, such as darts, explosive rockets, tranquilizers, and even more maladic weapons to aid them in another quelling of an unknown species. They were good, although not as powerful as the deathly Zealotry, they are still a great force to be reckoned with, their campaigns in the lands of rithman-naar and the serpintines a glrious victory, and the capture of the Shadow-Hounds in Anarchy51 set loose gave them their experience.

Now, aboard the whirring chopper blades of the transport helicopters, they were to be sent into another unknown species infestation. Their goal; to eradicate all possible life that existed within the compound, and to possibly rescue any people still trapped horribly inside, although their doubts were high of the rate of life, more so the rate of the people being still sterile; untouched by the unknown growing substances.

"All right, men." The leader captain ordered, a Blue Patriarch named Hennra. He was a strong person, a quick agile man who was quick at thinking, and his strengths helped him rise quickly towards the top ladders of the Jenrak military. Now, as a Patriarch, he was responsible for the eradication of alien species, and the disruption of biological threats. They were headed to Shenyang, a country who made a mistake on their experiments. They, and another bevy of troops from countries around the world, were sent to clean up the corporally dangerous mess.

"We are in drop zone in four hours. Load before the drop everyone." Hennra ordered as he prepared his poisonous darts, and the caged Garg-Hounds laid dormant in their cages, quiet and asleep. The Garg-Hounds were used to track down enemy hostiles effectively, since their sightlines reach through both the light and darkness of the world, and their keen senses smell danger always, never wavering in their strengths.

"Team, 1 ready?" A team cheered loudly to the question.

"Team 2?" Another yelled loudly again.

"Good. I want drops in 3.9 hours for team two, and they'll clear the landing zone and follow the plane to team 1. I'll lead the pathway into the Hive. Forces ready?" He asked his men, as they answered repetitively.

The plane flew overhead Shenyang, as the lands began to form in sight, and the ground was unmarked. The infested forms have not yet reached their destinations, thankfully, and they have yet to stay stealthed. They began to awaken their predatorial pets, the awakening Garg-Hounds. "Wake up. Daddy's got a meal for you." Hennra murmured quietly, in spite of all the noise around them.

The Eagle Air Freighter Zeppelin lowered slowly onto the palin, about 2 miles from the hive, it's Colonial Air Force markings proudly displayed on the side. Inside, on the bridge, stood CAF Capt Brent, Colonial Marine Corps Commando Captain Eldridge and a man in a suit, referred to only as "Mr Smith". They had been in conference for most of the journey, and the zepps crew knew better than to eavesdrop.

"This is a military operation, and nothing to do with you people.."

"I have the authorisation of the Governor herself to observe on this mission, Captain, and you can't keep me out."

"Your here, arn't you, so observe! Come in there with me and my mine and you'll be in the way! You don't have the training or the experience..."

"You'd be surprised what experience I have."

Eldridge recognized the cold hard stare of a proffessional warrior, totally at odds with the little wiry body of the suited bespectacled man.

"I want it recorded that I'm officially protesting about your presence on this deployment. Clear?"

"Clear. The mission is yours, I am just an observer."

"Well, gentlemen," said a relieved Captain Brent, "we land in 15 minutes."

"The Eagle has landed!" declared the zepps pilot, as they touched down.

The marines were suited up and ready to go. After training so hard and for so long, they were finally seeing action. Eldridge was proud of them, straining at the leash but still with the discipline and professionalism that only a Colonial Marine Corps Commando could show.

Eldridge waited for his briefing from the Shenyang representative sent to meet them. He could hear the men singing lustily;

"Marine Corps... HUH!...sinners... HUH!... losers?... WINNERS!... HUH!!!!"

He stared sideways at Smith, sitiing next to him in his Puma armoured recon vehicle. Smith looked at him and smiled benignly. "Care for a mint, Captain?" he asked gently, proferring forward the roll of sweets.

Eldridge ignored him and gave the order.

"MARINES, MOVE OUT!!"

The silence was raped by the sound of helicopter propellers buffeting the air, thousands of feet above Shenyang. Emerging from the clouds were four soot-colored, scrupulously polished helicopters that were impervious to almost any weapon and had bulletproof, soundproof windows of the sort that someone on the inside could see through, but someone on the outside could not. They were brand-new, right off the assembly line. Their underbellies were heavy with armament. One of the pilots contacted the Shenyang airport: "Requesting permission to land, over."

(I said a year, which in this case is about 2 maybe 3 RL months)This time I'm RPing them as the relentless, feral killing machines they were supposed to be.

IC:
ATC: You are cleared for landing, once you have landed please have your men move to the command post for briefing.

Once the RB forces were in the briefing room Revenant stood up and walked to the front of the room.
Revenant: Alright, now before we go into that place I want to give you my personal briefing on the situation as I see it. No high command sugar-coating this time ladies. Last time we entered that place we didn't lose anyone, at the time there were only about 100 of these things, they're called Shamblers and they're freakin' killling machines. We went in expecting to deal with some mutant lizards or something, what we faced looked like this:

Presses button on remote and activates a projection of two Shamblers
http://www.chopperware.com/godzilla...troyahearly.gif
http://www.godzilla.stopklatka.pl/desagg.jpg

The statistics for these things are in the folders that were passed out to you earlier. I want you to open those folders, take out the stats, and burn them. A bunch of numbers aren't gonna help you in there. Having a "statistical advantage" won't come to sh*t if you get killed as one sneaks in behind you.
No, here's all you need to know about these things. Their big, strong, fast, and damn hard to kill. When you're facing them they'll keep coming at you until you take it down. They can cling to walls like a spider, and they won't hesitate to kill anything they catch. By now there are probably a few thousand down there, and they've probably mutated. I wouldn't expect them to stand-by and not evolve, damn scientists did their job too well, and they died because of it. When we go into the facility I want everyone on the top of their game, if they start to swarm you I'd suggest you call for help, and if you get a call for help you'd damn well better answer it. I don't want us coming out of this with more ead than them. Is that understood?

A jet black stealth copter flew through the air silently. No one would be able to track it. Even if all systems failed, God would step in. All on board knew this.

In the main cabin sat five large men, wearing white robes, flowing down their bodies to the ground, black body armour above this. Each was wearing a silver helmet and wielded a large sword on their back, two pistols in holsters on their hips and a shotgun in their hands. They did not look at each other or talk; they were concentrating on the mission ahead. This time was known as the Clers, Clerics would reflect the mission briefing, pray and generally prepare at this point.

The Dinonian Church had outdone themselves this time. Using contacts they had already received all the Intel they could get from other countries dropping down here, and all Clerics had memorised what they were told.

The pilot turned to the Clerics in the back. "We are over the target now"

A Cleric with a black cross on his silver helmet put his arm up to show his thanks. The pilot turned to his co pilot "Man I can't stand the Clerics"

The door was opened and ropes thrown out. Several seconds later five Clerics had slid down and were on the ground. The pilot then threw their bags and supplies down from the copter. He shouted as he did so "Hannah will be here later!"

The black cross Cleric nodded, and the copter took off. He looked down at his wrist, where he had an electronic map. The opening was several miles south, past a friendly camp. He raised his arm and thrust it in the direction of the camp. The Clerics moved as one in that direction.

OOC - lol, its never come up, but that’s kewl.

IC - The Clerics heard something coming towards them. The black crossed Cleric pointed to the ground. Three Clerics hit the dirt, while two others ducked behind their supply case, each had their shotguns aimed at the noise.

There were five loud clicks, the guns were loaded, each had their fingers firmly on the trigger and were holding. If they so much as breathed in too much, the gun would go off.

The Humvee pulled round in front of them and, noticing the logo; the crossed Cleric waved his hand in the air. The shotguns were put away and they all approached.

The Helicopter was hovering over the helipad of the base Shenyang had set up for the meeting. Ropes fell from it and the Marines started sliding down on to the ground. After they had all gotten out the helicopter landed.

Jolt: "Why did we have to go down using the ropes if it was going to land anyway?"

Marine: "Beats me."

The Marines walked into the base and listened to the briefing. A marine heard the helicopter playing Immigrant Song. "Immigrant song? I guess that's relevant as these monster's visas just expired..."
"Dammit." Jolt thought, "No one here has fought mosters before have they?"

Sequa asked a question: "What are the general weak points of these things? And how many rounds would it take to kill it?"

The humvee pulled up outside the command center. At the same time, in the briefing room Revenant was fed up with waiting for a response.

Revenant: Fine, I'll just assume that your all willing to do as I asked. Now lets get out there, the enemy ain't just gonna wait for us.

Revenant and the ODST, along with the Ollish forces got up and left the room (now the attack will begin). The ODST, once outside checked their weapons, upon seeing everything was in working order Revenant gave orders to the Ollish forces that, until they were inside, they were under his command. Sitting nearby was a Stryker APC. Revenant ordered the Ollish forces into it. The ODST grabbed onto the exterior and the driver of the Stryker got the hint. He accelerated toward the entrance to Section 21's cover building. He slammed into the front, glass enterance. The Stryker skidded to a halt in the lobby and the ODST hopped off into a perimeter. The Ollish force piled out of the Stryker and joined the ODST in the perimeter. Revenant gestured for the Ollish troops to clear the left wing of the building, the ODST cleared the right wing.

Revenant: This is Revenant, East wing is secure, Ollish Commander, is the west wing clear?

OC: Affirmative, we are inbound.

Jolt: "We should stick together, because with monsters, when you split up, you die."
Sequa: "Defy my orders and you'll be court-marshalled when we get back to Securia."

Upon receiving their orders, the Selous scouts proceeded forward in their mission with an air of confidence, their weapons fully loaded, as they moved forward into the unknown.

Lurking within the shadows, one of the creatures silently watched the newfound intruders with hungry, contemplating eyes, as an insatiable lust for blood surged through its veins. A low, inaudible snarl rumbled from its chest, as it slowly, ever so slowly, emerged from the shadows to strike, while their backs were still turned.

The unsettling aura of death was in the air.

A brief but powerful and tumultuous breeze rustled past them, and when they turned, two men were gone; in their place were two blood-soaked, horrifically mutilated corpses, the faces' expressions frozen in terror. The stench of gore was appalling, overwhelming. Seemingly from out of nowhere, a Shambler leapt onto one of the scouts, brandishing its claws and tearing him asunder, cleaving him to pieces in seconds, shredding him apart like paper, as blood gushed in every direction. He did not even have time to scream. The other scouts instinctively fired in retaliation, the sound of gunfire echoing harshly in the darkness, but the creature was already gone. The once-confident scouts were now pissing in their pants out of fright. They foresaw bloody death, just over the horizon...death that none of them would be able to avoid.

Boots on the metal floor. The Ollish took one side of the hall, the ODST, the other and they began advancing. They saw the Selous Scouts as their two men were taken out.

The ODST, who had feigned terror to trick the Shambler, began to move down the hall Revenant had indicated.

OC: What about us?

Revenant: Stay here, we'll be back soon.

The ODST walked down toward the next divide in their hall, they heard a scratching sound in the distance. They silently moved to the corner. Revenant peek around and saw a Shambler, walking away from them about a quarter of the way down the hall. He Gestured for the ODST to move around the corner, and wait for the order to attack. They did as ordered. Once they were in position Revenant openned a panel on his mask, and whistled loudly at the Shambler ahead of him. To spun around and gave a shriek as it registered the 32 opponents, it thought something to the effect of, "32 humans, cake." It slowly began advancing toward the ODST, Revenant kept his hand up to keep his men from firing. The Shambler drew closer, closer, closer, until it was 30 feet away. Then Revenant whipped his hand down and the ODST openned up a can of whoop-ass on the poor Shambler. The hall was ablaze with muzzle flashes as the team tore the still advancing Shambler apart. It finally fell 10 feet from the ODST. Revenant moved up to it, SOCOM out, and put a round directly through its brain-stem, as he had with the first Shambler they had killed after the escape. He still hed these creatures in the highest contempt. They were the very thing that he had been raised to hate, a creature made by humans to kill other humans. He holstered his SOCOM and reached around to bring up his AK-110L again. He looked back to his men, and over a secure channel gave them orders.

Revenant: What you standing there for ladies!? We have a floor to clear, lets move!

The ODST responded and moved further down the hallway, weapons drawn, keenly alert for any movement.

The Clerics were clearly bored of waiting. Cowley pointed at the shaft and it was opened by two of his men. He held his shotgun aimed at the door as another of his brothers looked down the shaft. It seemed clear, the Cleric gave Cowley a thumbs up, and the others approached.

Then he heard it. I clicking noise, in the shaft. The front Cleric gave a thumbs down, and pulled out his sword. Holding it high above his head, the Cleric jumped. Cowley gave a wave and the others followed. The door closed shut behind them.

-----------------------

Flying down the chute, the first Cleric hit into something hard. he pushed is sword deep into it, but nothing happened. He touched his wrist to turn on his light. He was lying on the body of a man in a white coat. There was not much left of him. He was clinging on the side of the shaft, but was now falling with the Cleric.

He pulled out a large dagger and pushed it towards the wall, it scraped along, slowing him down for about 12 floors, before the Cleric figured he could jump the rest.

He landed on theground with a loud metal clanking noise, and a thud. One foot had hit the body, the other hit the floor. The Cleric stood and turned round, searching the area. "Let's get closer, men." Hennra replied, as the furious Garg-Hounds roared blissfully into the deathly cinder air, the vents of the facility opening and closing ominously, as the updraft from the upper facility quietly pounced its way through the parts of the tunnel, the entrance of the Hive far off into distance proportions, steel walls enclosing around them, their rifles ready.

"Quiet, soldier." The whispering militant captain ordered his men, as the Patriarch slipped amongst the metal wirings, the thumping growing louder. Hennra felt an uneasing slightly bolt within his stomach, when the team moved closer to a banging within walls, the glass shattered and blood tipped on the ground, the dark shadows whispering portent death to their omnisicent enemies.

"Quiet, soldier!" The captain gasped quietly again, as the men huddled closer together, afraid of the darkness that ensued their every move. "How many times do I have to tell you?"

"I didn't do anything sir." A soldier replied, as they listened to a creeping sloshing noise echo once again throughout the metal halls of the facility, the floor freezing up in fear as the corpses of the victims rotted their minds out of death, as they opened up their laser aimed rifles, red lights shining into the foggy blackness.

"I can't see...captain!" Hennra yelled, as the Garg-Hounds began to feast upon his teared body, the viruses and their malicious hosts ripping his form apart, the Hounds naturally attracted to their newfound enemies. Within seconds, blood squirted out towards the edges of the walls, and the firey bullet wounds from the captain's no longer existing gun made a gassy fog thicken around them, shielding their presence from the enemy. The Hounds, already locked onto the target of the enemy's blood, eagerly followed the back lines and awaited another virus to ambush them, so that they may begin their hunt again.

The ODST advanced on the door, Revenant readied his rifle. He was on point for this breach. He readied himself to burst in. 1, 2, 3. He and the rest of the ODST burst into the room. Inside they found nothing, just an empty storage closet. Then they heard the screech. It came from beind them, the ODST wheeled around and saw a shambler standing in the door, thermal readings indicated that there were atleast a dozen more coming, probably more.

Revenant: Fire! Fire at will! Talbitt, we need assistance, we're pinned down in hall number 5, we have multiple tangoes inbound, can you assist. Talibitt if you don't make it here in time I don't think any of us will forgive you, and you know what that means! So get your lazy a*s over here NOW!

Revenant began to fire at the Shambler in the door. The rest of the ODST openned up on it as well, it lashed out and wounded a man too close to the door, he would live, it had merely caught the front of his leg, but he would still be slowed down, the ODST would have to pull back momentarilly to get him to safety so he could be patched up and return to the team as soon as possible, but that would have to wait.

Revenant: Damnit! Talbitt get down here now! We can't hold these things for ever!

He fired into the oncoming hoard of Shamblers as they menacingly approached his men.

Revenant: Frag out!

A frag grenande sailed toward the Shamblers, several fell, but the survivors continued their attack.

Tech: You're going in there, ma'am.

Major Eva thought to herself: How did I let that slip? My team is ready, I'm ready. How'd I manage to break at that exact moment? Oh well, when the time come I'm going in there and I sure as hell am coming back out.

She looked to a closet in her office, inside was a specially modified form of the ODST armor, designed specifically to fit a woman, all the ODST were men, so their standard armor wouldn't fit, so hers was customized to work with her. When the time came she, and her small team would enter the hive and face that whcih they had contained for the past year.

"Hold you position, now, trooper." Hennra whispered faintly to his team, when the shining array of lights in the distance rung violently amongst the tunnel and the broken glass reflected grotesque figures chewed on the blood stained wall.

As they walked, they picked up a highly frequent signal, and it seemed to be a quiet call for help. "We have to go." Hennra spoke. "They can help us."

Sahara: Look Out!

Sahara fired a HE grenade from his MGL out the door. The grenade exploded and Shambler pieces flew everywhere. A moment later and there was still nothing on thermal. The ODST slowly, and methodically made their way out of the closet. They saw absolutely no living Shamblers left in the area, in fact, they didn't even see any dead Shamblers, the grenade had torn them apart. As a result the walls were spattered with the innards of Shamblers, and the floor with their exo-skeletons.

Revenant took off his helmet, if it weren't for the fact that the hall was nearly totally dark it would have been evident that his face was drenched in sweat. His short, black hair was matted down from the helmet, and had a sheen of sweat on it. His green eyes were intense, roving the hall for anything out of place. He blinked twice, wiped his brow and then replaced his helmet.

Revenant: Seraph, you okay?

Seraph: I'll be fine sir, just let me patch this up a bit and I'll be back to normal.

Revenant: Good, if you need to stop just ask, besides, I think we should stay here a minute. I'm sure we're all exhausted after that, and we'll see if anyone listened to that transmission, that way when we get out of here we can yell at 'em for not coming if they didn't.

Seraph: Sounds good sir.

Revenant: Gobi, Sahara, set up a perimeter, if anything that ain't human moves out there light it up.

Gobi/Sahara: Yessir.

Gobi and Sahara set up a perimeter, waiting for anything out of place to move.

Statham and Jones reached the bottom of the lift shaft, where they found the clerics praying and drinking wine.

Jones jokingly asked for a "Dutch courage swig", but gave up and just said "sorry" when he saw the look the cleric gave him.

Statham called to Eldridge "We should be able to open this door with the five of us, sir!"

"Right, stick with the clerics. We'll blow the floor up here and enter the next level. Sergeant Davis, Floor assault!.

Davis, all 6 foot 4 of him, nodded curtly and proceeded with his work. It took him seconds to strap several grenades to the floor while the rest of the platoon took cover positions. Sergeant Davis quickly reeled out a length of cooten, strung through the pin of the first grenade. "Ready sir," he said quietly, having taken less than 30 seconds to set up the floor assault.

"Right." Eldridge took a deep breath, "ONE, TWO, THREE, FIRE IN THE HOLD!!"

The floor blew in with a huge eruption, and several men raced forward, some firing throuh the hole, some throwing down flashbang grenades, the bursts lasting barely 2 seconds.

The men could hear alien like screams from below as Bravo Team prepared to lower themselves in, weapons at the ready...

"Here, here." Hennra responded, as the static of the communication went blank, the gunfire still rapping through the sheets of metal, breaching their radios and hearing an omniscient roar and another slosh unearthly.

"The signal's coming from here." The technician replied, pointing to a dark, menacing hall, known seemingly as Hall 5, a tunnel that led to the center of the facility, where it was thought that the sources were greater than believed. Despite all of that, Hennra had to follow, and he was not afraid; his pets, the ferocious Garg-Hounds, followed his wake, their noses and their ears sharp as the blackness enclosed them.

They ran, and they heard the corporal virus follow them carefully, and then the sound defeaned. They hope they weren't too late. Gunfire pounced around, and lights littered the hall way, but then it stopped. They had to hurry.

The Clerics nodded when the door was blasted open. Cowley got close to the experts "Thank you" he waved at the Clerics and they packed everything up. He then pointed at the door where the other soldiers were holding and firing at.

Moments later the Clerics burst out with shotguns, firing them at four shamblers in the hall. The beasts were gaining ground. Cowley motioned at them, but the Clerics did not notice. "Cover Kellen!" He finally shouted "Kellen, sword!" The other Clerics where shocked that he shouted but did what he said.

Kellen pulled out his sword from his back, this was different than the others swords. This one was longer and had large black and white crosses engraved into the blade, showing off the fact that he was a swordsman first class.

He jumped up and ran on the walls for a meter before thrusting down and pulling his sword straight into a shambler’s head. He then swung and hit two more in the legs. He sliced through them with ease and pulled the sword up one more time to hit the approaching shambler in the chest.

The creature fell, but managed to grab him in the face. The Cleric screamed with pain as the flesh was ripped off.

Several shots were fired at the shambler as he did this. The creature looked at the other Clerics and threw Kellen behind him. Cowley screamed "James, head shot now!"

James opened up the case he was helping to carry and grabbed his sniper rifle. He fired a shot at the head. Nothing happened. He fired another, still nothing, the Shambler was close.

James gave up on the shotgun and grabbed an Uzi out the case, he fired with the same aim and precision as if it was a sniper rifle. It took about thirty shots, but he had firmly taken out the head.

He had done his job and put the weapons back. Cowley turned to Wilk and James and nodded his head before shaking it. They knew what this meant and pulled out their pistols, covering the others as they walked to Kellen who was still screaming.

As they got close they noticed the two shamblers without feet crawling towards them. Cowley finnished both off with his sword as they passed. When they got there Cowley held him up. He was in a state. His eyes were in tact, but there was a scratch mark down his entire face. It was deep and was bleeding badly.

"MEDIC!!!" Cowley shouted at the top of his lungs hoping that someone would have one and would hear him.

Another copter arrived at the complex outside. This one went straight up to the base and landed (OOC - If there is not a helipad tell me and I will change the post) Two Clerics got out and walked towards the building, followed by a woman wearing all white, with long blond hair. "We're only a few feet away from them!" The troops yelled tenaciously, the furious blood-thristy Garg-Hounds whimpering and moaning in the thickening fog of the viral enemy, as the hounding foes followed their movements, their gaseous forms licking the edge of steel, hugging the shattered and torn walls.

As they approached the slithering ends of the tunnel, the awaiting troops holding their position, others found well moving, Hennra crouched to the front lines of the team, and he felt a deep whisper crawl up the lines of his skin, as the beeping of his life signals emanated, the source becoming more and more prominent.

"Hold position, boys." Hennra commanded to his team. "Come here, Areon, Narfus." He beckoned to the two growling hounds, as they whimpered in their furry bodies, their fangs dripping saliva all over the ground.

"Sniff that for daddy, please?" As the Garg-Hounds smelled the sifting air, and the closed door, whistling a faint whistle of approval, and they stuck their tongues out playfully, before the soldiers began to move into the area, about to clasp the door open.

"Place a charge on this. I want it opened."

"Yes, sir."

Tinkling of the charge sounded throughout the steel halls, the blackness that surrounded them becoming more noticable and more dangerous. They had to move fast, as the zip of scope lasers peered into the unknown. Even the smart and complicated hounds were feeling a sense of danger, as they dropped their fierce demeanor and cowered behind Hennra.

Hennra rubbed behind what was left of their ears, and he stared back at the dancing numbers aboard the charge, when suddenly the charge burst forwards and the lock flew out, swinging the metal door wide open.

"Move in, team-6."

"Roger, sir."

"Scanners around the area, now."

"Yes, sir."

As Hennra walked in casually, his Garg-Hounds at his heel, he yelled out at posible hostages of the viral infection. "Hello!?" He began, "Anybody here? Show yourself!" The room echoed his voice, as he awaited for his ally to show themselves.

The ODST began to move toward the hole blown by the RS Black Ops a while earlier. They moved in a tight formation toward the entrance. They finally reached it, Revenant gave Talbitt a look of pure poison.

Revenant: Next time you decide to ignore a call for help, make sure victims' nation isn't within swimming distance of the your own, cause I know Murdock ain't gonna be too happy if the entire ODST program is wiped out because someone never showed up to help.

The ODST threw ropes to the ground level and climbed out. They made their way to the command center without giving Talbitt a chance to respond. They enterred the command center and Revenant looked at the sergeant on duty. He then gave Seraph a warning look and then spoke.

Revenant: We have a wounded man that we need bandaged, and we have to trade off these AK-110s for something with a little more force.

Sergeant: Seraph, please follow me to the infirmary, the rest of you know where the armory is.

Seraph: Revenant, pick somethin' good for me, will ya?

Revenant: You know I always do.

Seraph enterred the infirmary where he was checked out and bandaged. The rest of the ODST walked to the infirmary, those with them placed their AK-110s on a rack and walked around until they found the rack they were looking for, on it were 40 M249 SAWs. Each rifleless ODST took one and grabbed enough ammo to last them a week in a normal tactical situation. Revenant grabbed an extra for Seraph, now fully armed they walked out of the armory and waited for Seraph outside the infirmary. A few moments passed, then he walked out with a bandage on his leg, he was walking fine, and didn't appear to be in any pain, so Revenant handed him his SAW and gave him a little pep talk.

Having to deal with 3 shamblers would be quite troublesome, one soldier shot a grenade at one of the shamblers which exploded and killed one of them. Another soldier blasted a shambler's head of with a Steyr AMR, but the other two were firing their Steyr Aug and MP5 with not much effect on the shambler, it was advancing too quickly and slashed both of them, one being wounded and another completely decapitated. The soldier with the AMR fired another round into the shambler's head killing it.

They advanced and came to the middle of the hallway.

Once the red and blue team got up to the 12th level they looked around using thermal scopes, they found two shamblers waiting to ambush hiding in the darkness. 2 soldiers each fired stinger missiles at them, one caught the stinger missile and exploded but the other managed to avoid the one fired at it. The blue team advanced, they were repeatedly firing on the other shambler when one that was behind a wall jumped out and slashed at a soldier repeatedly until he was hit with a grenade round. The shambler other shambler that was their origional target had went after the other team but caught a missile in the stomach and was badly wounded, it was then shot in the head with a jackhammer a few times.

Eva: This is my team, Colonel, I believe that we would be, Theta team. Is that right?

Revenant: Well, Theta is the next in succession, but you're not ODST, you don't have the training, you're just a bunch of soldiers who have anger problems when it comes to missing a fight.

Eva: You aren't?

Revenant: Yes, but, I'm trained to deal with this kind of thing, so are the rest of the ODST, you on the other hand are trained to face an opposing HUMAN force, and deal with it, you don't have the training for this kind of situation.

Eva: My team has been trained to deal with these things specifically for nearly a year now, we know exactly what hurts then, and how to hit them, we also are much more disciplined than your ODST, colonel.

Revenant: My men don't need to be highly disciplined! In there I don't want a team of mindless drones! I want a fluid, self-aware team where each member can make a decision without having to run it through some higher ranking ODST. I want men who can think for themselves, not that have someone else think for them. That is why my ODST "lack discipline."

Eva: Whatever you say. We're still going in.

The ODST and Theta team began to walk toward the facility, at as distance, so that neither commander could sling insults at the other.

Red team leader: "Are we clear?"
Blue team leader: "We're clear, for now."

Meanwhile Jolt and his team were fighting through the shamblers using rockets, grenades, and bullets.

"We need backup" said Jolt.

The Blue team head downstairs and attack from the other end of the shamblers. "Switch sides!" They run around the group of shamblers to get to opposite sides of the level. Then the red team radios in for backup.

Jolt: "I'll check it out."
He and his team run upstairs while the blue team stays towards the middle of the room.

Portshire's team of 30 delta force soldiers wearing unidentified uniforms are in helicopters headed for Shenyang.

Pilot: We're inbound, a few more minutes.

Sergeant: All right now that were here I'll go over the objectives of this mission. The primary objective is to capture a man named "Jolt" He was a prodominant enemy in the war and still knows a lot of information on the Portshire military. He must be caputured and interrogated and other Securia soldiers are to be killed. We've got to do this without the other countries knowing about it.

Our second objective is to help out Shenyang in this dire situation they're dealing with.

The helicopter touched down and the soldiers entered the building. They set up a small base in the lobby near the elevator shaft by putting up sandbags and radio devices. They could hear the gunfire echoing from the shaft.

Sergeant: Check that out.

6 soldiers go over to the elevator and slide down a rope. When they get there they see the clerics. "What's going on over here?" They hear gunfire up ahead. They rush in and find Securia marines fighting the shamblers.

Corporal: Are we in view of those other guys?
Private: No sir.
They sneak around to the back of the securia marines and fire silenced rounds at them.

An assault soldier fires a missile at a shambler decapitating it. He gets hit in the back with a bullet and falls to the ground.

Soldier1: "You ok?"
Soldier2: "Yeah I'm fine, check your fire."
Soldier1: "It wasn't me."

Just then a bullet hits the soldier in the head. And he dies. The third soldier turns around and sees enemies firing at him. He takes cover behind a wall and jumps out firing his Jackhammer at them. He takes cover again and radios everyone. "We're taking fire."

Revenant: Who the hell are they? (referring to the Portshire force)

Polaris: No idea. They sure as hell weren't in there earlier.

Revenant: Eva? You have any idea who that is?

Eva: No idea. Permission to join the ODST for the remainder of this mission, you look like you might need help.

Revenant: Affirmative, stay close.

The reinforced ODST run toward the building, they enter the elevator shaft and set up ropes in the shaft, these would be static, so that in the event of an emergency they could be easilly used. The ODST slid down the ropes to the 12th floor: subject containment, what could be the most dangerous floor in the whole facility. This entire floor was beieved to be a nest. No human had enterred this level in a year, since the ODST had burst into the tactical assessment lab in the previous insurgency. Below they heard gunfire, and over the radios they heard the unidentified force eliminating the Securian force. The ODST set-up a trap for anyone trying to escape the facility without clearance, the initial forces were given clerance when they entered the briefing, and Hannah and her team were cleared on arrival, all the other teams who had been late were cleared except for the unidentified team they now didn't trust, if they planned to get out of this facility they weren't going to be doing it without the ODST letting them out.
Around the elevator shaft they set claymores, on an optical fuse (explained below) three tiers were installed, so that an entire tam could be wiped out in one fell swoop. This way trusted forces could get out, while anyone who wasn't cleared would get a face full of metal shot. The elevator shaft had been built to hide a claymore in this type of situation, so the claymores were totally concealed, only the ODST, and the victims after detonation, would know their location.

Revenant: Anyone who doesn't ID themselves to us has got to be up to no good, besides this will surpress the Shamblers if they come up the shaft.

Eva: I'm sure that you solve all your problems with this much tact, right?

Revenant: Yeah, pretty much, yeah.

OOC:Each team at the beginning was issued a small adhesive patch which cleared them for passage through this type of security, it can't be removed from the uniform without destroying it, and removing the fabric around it only serves to short the patch out.

The ODST zipped down the shaft, past their claymores, and began to search the floor for the Securian forces.

OOC: Most of my guys were set up on the 1st floor lobby, I was planning on having them go in a little at a time to hinder progress. Is it possible your guys moved in was there another way that you didn't encounter them or should I just edit the post so that they're on a different level where no one else is?

IC: The securian marine's shots hit two of the soldiers, one died, one wounded. A soldier tried to go around the pillar the marine was hiding behind but he encountered a shambler and was sliced by it. There are four more soldiers left on the 13th level.

The marine with the Jackhammer jumped out from behind the pillar, he fired several shotgun shells at the remaining enemies. He took a few hits but his armor prevented any major damage. He dove down next to the other marine who had a stinger missile launcher. He grabbed the dead marine's M4 and shot a grenade round at the Portshire soldiers but was stabbed in the back by a shambler. The last Securia marine that was on that floor took out the shambler with a stinger missle.

ooc - Ok, I am really confused. We are all on the 13th lv. My Clerics, your marines, and your delta force guys. My Clerics are all in the shaft holding out there. For your delta force to get down here you would have to have killed my Clerics, or somehow fooled us.

ic - Hannah heard the gun shots as the other Cleric pulled out his gun. "We are going to stick with you guys for a while" Hannah said to the marines

OOC: My guys are all disguised as reinforcements and they're wearing generic black uniforms so it's not quite clear what country they are from but obvious enough that they would be a special unit different from the ones already sent in. They're trying to take out Securia but aren't trying to fight the other countries. My guys split up, 6 of them went to the 13th floor and the rest stayed in the lobby(or whatever other floor if Shenyang wants me to edit) Also when they passed by your clerics they said something like "what's going on down here" when first encountering allies as normal allies would before investigating the gunfire they heard just as normal allies would too. Also gunfire shouldn't really arouse suspicion as the Securira marines are fighting shamblers anyway and the conflict between Portshire and Securia on the 13th floor takes place away from the shaft.

Basically they encountered your guys, said "what's up" then checked out where the gunfire was coming from. It shouldn't seem suspicous with all the commotion going on down there.
I'm just RPing as the bad guys, in real life I have nothing against you guys.

OOC: Its a standard, if brutal, precaution of the Shenyang ODST to set up traps for people who don't identify themselves. The ODST, being a highly paranoid group prefers not to take any chances against a human opponent, that way they aren't dealing with two opponents, only one. Besides, odds are shamblers will come down the shaft and trip the claymores before you get there anyway.

The Clerics thought nothing of the gunshots and screams in the other room, this was a war zone.

Cowley walked up to Kellen and the Cleric treating him, the Cleric gave him a thumbs up, Kellen had stopped bleeding and he was going to be okay. This was good news, maybe he would not be fired when he got home. He walked over to James Wilk who were holding the door with another Cleric, there was constant firing.

"Where are the other marines Jon!?" Cowley asked the Cleric there.

"Down the coridoor and to the right" Jon replied

OOC - OK, correct me if im wrong but...

Clerics are in the shaft SubLv13, Hannah and one Cleric are on SubLv2

Shenyang's ODST are in the lobby and SubLv2, and a group are heading down the shaft

Securia's Marines are in a corridoor next to the shaft in SubLv13

Portshire's Soldiers are in the lobby and SubLv13

Jenrak's men and hounds are in SubLv2

Ollieland's boys are in the shaft in SubLv13
