How many of these are you planning to build?
Just these two for now. They are intended for Huntarian use only.

Any how long are you planning on taking to build them? My cityships are 150km long, and took 2500 years each (about 1.5 year RL) to complete.
Technically, they are already completed. I "Realesed" them. There will be more, only, and only, if they are destroyed from rebel attack or other means. How on earth did it take you 2500 years to create a city sation????
The death star took only 5 years. If it seems that it's a bit short, I am a star warsish naiton, mixed with 40k stuff too.
OOC: Man, you just keep making bigger weapons, don't you? :p
I'm prepairing for an open war agianst my pupet nation, and the Phantoms who are located within the Unknown Reagons in the Huntarian Galaxy.
I'm going to need a lot of super weapons. I'm thinking about releasing the Rp for the 2nd Phantom War sometime either this week (I'm going on a band trip to Florida the 14th for my High School's symphonic band. I won't be back untill the following monday, or tuesday. I still may have difficulties getting on line) or sometime durring my april vacation. That's why I'm mass producing a lot of super-weapons.

I took 2500 years quite simply because anything that fucking huge will use more resources than an entire planet can provide. Then you've got contruction, which in something that complicated will take ages, even with a crew of 1.8 billion. The death star taking five years is irrelevant. If Star Wars was an NS nation, I'd ignore that construction. It simply isn't feasible.

I'm mostly into the sations for story telling. Construction would take a long time, but I have an entire system based upon starship construction. We turned the world into Forge Worlds, which is where an entire planet is dedicated to constructing only one thing, cloning, ship production, military training, droid facilities ect. Kind of a big target, but if you keep them spread out, it will be more usefull than if they were all clumped up together. Forge world realy help with the time it takes to create any one huge ship.

The Galactic Empire used the Maw Installation to construct the Death Star 1. It had a dense asteroid field nearby that could be mined, and had the resources of the entire Empire. They were a Class 3 Civ, so a Death Star isn't impossible... just unwieldy and unfeasable. Too expensive, and why would you want such a beast?

OOC: I don't think he's protesting against the Death Star itself, just the claim that it took five years to build. And I would have to agree...
IC:
To whomever it may concern;
The Bretonian government is currently considering opening negotiations to contract Huntaer station designers and construction workers into building three additional Bretonian border stations at key points in our territory, due to the prestigious reputation they hold in this area.
These stations would be of unique design -- significantly smaller than these goliath stations, and though they would need to use Bretonian weapons systems for practical purposes, the rest of the design would be subject to your own consideration, providing they fit a specific, pre-discussed design brief.
If I were you, I would not get your hopes up, as the Bretonian government has a habit of spending an eternity deciding not to do something. One of many reasons why I am personally in favour of giving the monarchy power once again, but there you go. I am merely enquiring on their behalf; would such a contract would be possible in the first place?
