Joseph stood in front of million of people once again, but this time not to give a campaigning speech. "Long live Communism!" started out he president "Communism has been the savior of our victorious country! It has brought much good to our country! But we have yet to pay communism back! Well today is our chance! Today is the day that our great Nation of Nano Soft stand up to the world and show them that we are not weak! That we are not cowardly!"

The Diablo Ballistic Sub moved quietly and slowly through the depths of the cold Arctic waters just 300 Kilometers North of Nano Soft. The sub began to surface and the sub lunged up through the thick layer of ice onto the surface, along with it where three other Diablo Ballistic Subs. The Diablo held a powerful striking force, one that the world was about to see in full usage. Each Diablo was armed with 24 Ballistic RT-49's each where Ballistic missiles modeled after the Russian R-39, with four stages the missile could travel up to 20,000 Kilometers. Each RT-49 was armed with ten Thermonuclear war heads that had been modeled after the American W88. With 600 Kilotons of force one Diablo could easily wipe a entire country off the world within a mater of minutes.

"Launch in....Nine....Eight...Seven...Six....Five...Four...Three....Two...One!" The great Diablo began to shake as four RT-49's left there Silo chambers and went off in to the sky to fight gravity and climb to great heights. The first stage would brake off as it was almost one third the way into orbit and then after one more stage of solid fuel propulsion two ScramJet engines kicked in to lunge it into orbit and then that stage would bake off. Then came in the next stage which where what gave it great distance. The last stage had broken off just as the missile was about to re-enter orbit. The ten Thermonuclear war heads that where inside burst out and using GPS guidance they hurled down towards Earth directly on top of there targets. With forty Thermonuclear warheads falling upon the Nation of Masspwnage there was virtually nothing the nation could do to stop these warheads. No SAM Missile could fire directly up nor could it catch the missiles as they where going such high velocity. The war heads would strike down upon Masspwnage reeking chaos and destruction upon the nation. And there was nothing Masspawnage could do to stop it, nothing at all. The war heads would kill Millions of people and would completely level there targets. Millions of more people within a good 50 Km range of the explosions would get radiation poison leaving many sick. Ground water would become polluted leaving almost no clean water source within these explosions. This attack would devastate the country leaving it in ruins, it's economy would collapse, Millions of people would loose there job, and the death rate would hit a all time record for the country.
Ignore all parts about nuclear warheads in the above ^ Warheads fired where ONC since MP does not rp with Nuclear weaponry.

The Socialist Government of Nano Soft has declared an state of war upon your country. If the nation of Masspwnage does not stand down and surrender to the Socialist Liberation Forces of Nano Soft and any Coalition forces then we will be force to launch a full scale invasion.


Military movements-
ABM and SAM defenses going on the highest alert preparing to shot down anything Masspwnage might throw at Nano Soft.

8 Million Combat troops(plus logistic troops), 70,000 Constantine Tanks, 10,000 Exodus Tank Destroyers, 60,000 Mix of BMP-2's and BMP-3s, 200,000 155-mm Rapid Firing Artillery guns are all being mobilized and are preparing to ship out to Masspwnage. Along with a assortment of Logistic vehicles and Anti Aircraft vehicles are also being mobilized.

The first through fifth tactical Sub fleets are being deployed and are preparing to ship out.

The First through fifth tactical surface Battle Groups are preparing to ship out.

800 SAMs moved in to shoot down those missiles. A bit redundant seeing as how one would do, but oh well.

1 ONC warhead got through, but landed in a watery space in a harbor, doing no damage whatsoever.

Meanwhile, Ubercarrier groups 1-15 were mobilized for home defense, as well as Air Armadas 1-20....

Mid-Ocean scout subs everywhere were put on alert...

:P First of all these are war heads that had all the time from entering orbit to guide there way to there targets using GPS guidance. Second of all SAM's is a class of missile fool, Surface-to-Air Missile. It's not a actuall missile, learn your damn facts boy. Thirdly the only really way to stop SLBM and ICBM war heads is hitting the missile before it goes into orbit, probally to hard to do, or by hitting the war head in orbit. Other wise the velocity and the fact they're dropping on your head means it couldn't b stopepd by a SAM, maybe a ABM that's already pointed upwards. Forthly you never posted detecting the war heads or missiles so therefore you'd be firing missiles blindly meaning you hit absolutly jack shit. Fifthly even if the one ONC war head did drop in the middle of the harbour it would have still dealt significant damage to the shoer line and some what inland.

A country with a policy liek Israel where all eligable citizens must spend atleast 3 years(2 years for women) in the military after they get out of high school and a education system must like the USSR I believe you'd put my country under the catagory of being extremly Militrisic nation. Also having a military budget being the second largest out of all my budgets also helps very much.

I didn't question your ability to maintain or field such a massive force, did I? I only brought up the nasty little fact that you can only get so many vehicles and men on a ship at any one time and a ship can only move so fast. Even if you had incredible amounts of slack air- and sealift capacity, it would take a hell of a long time to move that number of men and vehicles. Yes, you're right, you did not state a deployment time-frame. But are you going to attempt to invade with only a division to spearhead the assault, as that's about the biggest force you're going to be able to assemble and deploy in order to keep at least tactical surprise? And, since you didn't state a time frame for your deployment except that it was after the declaration, is it fair to assume that MassPwnage could see the massive movement of men and materials and conclude that they're headed his and take both the requisite precautions for defense of the homeland and, in fact, launch a first strike on the gathering forces before they even put to sea or whilst they are at sea? Things to consider, I'd say.]

A couple of points.

First of all, the amount of people you have in your military is moot - it's the amount of time it takes to shift them to the enemy that counts. Also, a massive nuclear first-strike for no reason (well, even worse, an OOC reason) should at the very least be discussed in TG before you consider doing it, otherwise the opponent is perfectly within his RP-ettiquette rights to ignore you - moaning about it just makes you look like a dink and you'll end up being ignored by even more people. Also, as others have said, if you're going to launch a huge attack like this and then start amassing a huge armada, even the most blind military general in the world is going to see the weak point - just blow the things out of the water when they're at sea, as the sheer size of the required fleets would leave them severely open to attack simply because the battle-groups defending them are only so many ships and cannot be expected to protect such an enormous amount of mobilized troopships (those eight million have got to get there somehow, and if you just did it in stages then MassPwnage's troops would pick off your invaders like lemmings with coastal defences and such) .

Lessons to be learnt from this exercise:
a) If you're going to launch devastating assaults, plan it beforehand - it's unfair otherwise and you will be ignored.
b) If you are ignored, think about why. It's not always because they ph33red j00r p0w0r, they might just not want to play.
c) Do not insult people or presume your knowledge of military strategy is infallible. It isn't. That's why we play NationStates rather than command real batallions.
d) If the above are all too complex to bother taking in, just remember - play nice, or people won't want to play with you again.

Creating a ridiculously overpowered force, attacking for no reason, then defending a perfectly reasonable defense to your attack with flaming. You are like a seven year old child.
