The 1st and 3rd fleets left Panama just after the 4th fleet though their destinations differed and they would be out longer than the 4th due to the distance of their respective targets.
The 1st embarked into the carribean on its way to Greenland and the 3rd embarked into the Pacific following the 4th. But half way to the Galapagos, the 3rd fleet made its preplanned turn southward toward Easter Island. It will take the 1st and 3rd about two rl days to reach their respective targets. Hence they carried not 500 landing troops but about 2,000 each along with supply ships.
It was the adopted national policy to bring civilization to those parts of the world that had been ignored for too long by the international community.
Tommorrow the 2nd fleet would leave for Greenland, also escorting 2,000 Whittier troops.
