Today, the Credonian Presidential Palace announced that is has ordered two new Presidential Planes to replace the aging fleet of Presidential Boeing 747-800 aircraft that have been in service since the introduction of the 800 series some years ago. The plane to take the place of the 747-800's is the new Airbus A380. President Sutton had this to say:
"Im thrilled that I will be recieving the opportunity to fly one of these enormous aircraft, representing my country in the same style and elegance that is expected from the Credonian President and his government. The purchase of these planes, that will be turned into Air Force One aircraft represents the very nature of this nation. We ride the very wave on the forefront of techonlogical innovation, and we ride that wave in with style, elegance, and prestige. Not only does the A380 boast elegance and luxuary, it also boasts and represents innovation and quietly demands respect, the same that the nation of Credonia does. It will be a great thing when these aircraft are completed with their modifications and ready for active duty, serving as the President's main and most elegant mode of transportation to and from anyplace in the world."
It is unclear when the modifications to the Presidential Airbus A380's will be completed, but it is speculated that once they come into active operation, or "active duty" as President Sutton stated, that the President will be going on an international tour of the world to bridge and strengthen relations with nations that Credonia has relations with, friend, foe, and ally alike. Stay tuned for more information.
