Guffingford bombed.(ATTN, Guff)

Tocrowkia

(Me and Guff agreed to no allies for either of us, also, Guff, how about no WMDS okay?)

General Reinhard watched as the buildings passed by him through the limos windows, the Tocrowkian people walking up and down, continuing with their boring un-eventfull lives. The Limo pulled up outside the royal palace in Pharamas, and got out. Dozens of generals from all over Tocrowkia were meeting here, the Royal family was gone and now was the perfect time.

Reinhard got out, and walked through the courtyard, waving at some of the generals as he walked inside. All the generals here were at least sixty years old, and he could hear off in the distance one of the S.S. guards making a joke about this being a dinosaur museum, Reinhard laughing him self at the joke. How true that was.

Reinhard smiled as he entered the palace, pushing past some of the other generals to meet an old friend of his, Generel Krieg. He walked up besides Krieg, and patted him on the shoulder.

"Reinhard, ah. My old friend. How are you doing?"

He asked.

"I'm good. But Krieg, there is something we must discuss."

Krieg nodded, and followed him out to the balcony. They talked for a few minutes.

"...Guffingford."

Krieg said grimly as he heard what his friend had planned.

"Now is the perfect time. The royal family is away, our economy is at it's peak, and our armies are strong. We can do this."

Reinhard responded. Krieg shook his head as he lit a cigar.

"This can make our break us, Willhelm..."

He started.

"They are twice are size."

He finished.

"So? I dont care. Size does not matter."

"But the Royal Family, you could be held for treason."

Krieg noted.

"Aw, but once war begins, they wont want to come back. We can over throw them dont you see?"

Krieg nodded.

"So, when does bombing begin?"

He asked.

"Soon. We've prepared a statement saying it was us, and the military is on red alert."

Reinhard sighed, and looked down at Pharamas from the balcony....

Nuremberg

A Squadron of bombers flew over the city, they had been lucky to avoid detection thus far. The pilots were nervous, they were dropping the first bombs in what could, no...would be a devastating war for Tocrowkia. The lead pilot whiped some sweat away, and unleashed his payload, the others following his lead...

OOC: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v298/fruityloops/europa.jpg The blue areas are mine and it would be nice if you told where you attack. Nuremburg seems a bit... difficult. I'll grant you this one. And yes, no WMD's.

IC:
Long before the bombers reached Nuremburg the AA divisions began activating everything and the Black Steel system began picking out the bombers one by one. Because the system is not yet fully operational it took a little longer than expected, so the bombers began to drop bombs on the city's industrial areas. The bombs did damage, but because MAAM surface-to-air missiles caught them by surprise many bombers were taken down. None of their bombers would ever reach their homeland after they collapsed into a chaotic rout and began fleeing back to the relative safety of the North Sea.

Strategic Command

"Sir, we have reasons to believe Tocrowkia is behind this." General Ynsson wasn't the least surprised when he heard this.
"Commander Blouff, we have been expecting such a strike for ages. Of course Tocrowkia is behind this. Their bombers, the few pilots who survived the crash spilled their guts, emblems, name tags..."
"So, how are we going to retalliate?"
"Cruise missiles, bombers, our navy. We must demonstrate some of the latest Macabee-Guffingford technology. Our armies are screaming for blood."
"Captain Dafydd's ninth and eleventh fleets are currently near Tocrowkia I believe, tell him to start immediate offensive actions."
"Yes Mr Ynsson"

1st Class Flagship Xerxex

"Captain Dafydd, a flash message coming from SC."
"Let me see it..." Dafydd looked surprised, but returned to his normal attitude and ordered every man to man the battle stations.
"We have a war."

From the Firestorms cruise missiles were being prepared with a conventional charge, all aimed at the coastal defences of Tocrowkia. As soon as the ships would be in range, the first volley of one hundred missiles would be fired.

Public Announcement

"Today, the evil and oppressive regime of Tocrowkia has committed acts of war against the Reich. We cannot allow that, and we are already preparing ourselves for retalliations and a full strike of our complete military potential upon their homeland. Yesterday their bombers somehow managed to enter our airspace killing our homes, friends and families. Our defensive networks have destroyed their presence, but we will not stop at beating them back on our hometurf. I have ordered two fleets of Captain Dafydd to go near Tocrowkia and monitor the situation. Soon six fleets under the watchful eyes of L. Ynsson join forces. Then we will see what to do next. I trust none will leave his or her duties."

Pharamas was filled with the sound of marching. 750,000 troops in total marched down the streets, random shouts of "Sieg!" ringing out from the officers. The Reich was bracing for war. General Reinhard had set up a podium in Pharamas park, where millions of Tocrowkians flooded in to see what the rucus was about. Shoulder to shoulder, the Tocrowkians pushed closer. Reinhard cleared his throat, and began to talk.

"Citizens of the Divine Reich. You all know of my strong anti-Guffingford policies, and my desire to see them crushed for their sins. Yet I was held back, on a leash by the Royal family. Now that they are gone, I have taken actions. Earlier today, brave pilots of the Reich dropped the first bombs on one of our enemies cities, killing at least 50,000 Guffingfordian bastards.(Not trying to Godmod, it's propaganda and he's lying.) Now Guffingford approaches. Now is our time as Tocrowkians to crush them."

Reinhard spoke, the crowd's reaction was mixed. The majority cheared, while others booed. Reinhard didn't care either way, and left the stage. A young officer soon came up and saluted him. "Sir, we have some reports of ships heading towards our waters. Probably Guffingford."

He reported. "Well, just let them come. They are no match for us." Reinhard responded, leaving the area. He flagged down a limo, and headed to a secure location.

OOC: I will post my naval stats in the area later, gonna do some research.

Near Tocrowkian national waters

From the missile tubes of all arsenal ships ship-to-surface missiles (regular Tomahawk using a RAMjet propulsion) were launched aimed at all coastal defences of Tocrowkia. For many hours straight the arsenal ships pounded at the coastal constructions while carrier based fighters patrolled the area arount the fleet. A tight grid of AA and ABM systems kept watch over the surrounding sectors and satellites were closely monitoring the troop movements in Tocrowkia. From the launching installations in the Vanguard class SSBN's ballistic missiles with a heavy thermite payload were launched at all the coastal fortifications. Transport ships kept moving in under heavy protection by several fighter squadrons delivering more missiles and supplies. The logistical part of this war was well organised, nothing was lacking.

From the Aasimar class battlecruisers and Belknap cruisers ship-to-surface missiles were also launched at other coastal facilities, such as military harbours, their docked naval vessels and other important structures. And these fleets weren't the only ones knocking at Tocrowkia's door, for the 5th, 6th and 8th fleet would also arrive the coming week. The 3rd fleet, which is wholly made up of anti-aircraft and anti-submarine will arrive tomorrow.

Total # of missiles fired at coast: 900

OOC: I'll post the fleet numbers later.

Phase 2 of Operation: Culling the Weak

From the Aasimar class battlecruisers several medium range ballistic missiles were launched, containing the destructive powder graphite. Releasing it causes electrical systems to shortcircuit, giving the Reichs Armee and Kriegsmarine a significant advantage. All of these missiles were launched at major powerstations, water purification plants and electricity distribution stations. After the first wave of explosive missiles on the beach, the graphite was now deployed to eliminate all possible remaining coastal guns functioning with electricity. Tocrowkia was bound to have some sort of ABM system, but due to the sheer number of missiles coming from the Aasimar's, this would be extremely difficult to stop. Meanwhile, more fleets were coming in to secure other beach sectors, each spanning fifty kilometers.

The process of the first missile barge was repeated by the Firestorm class arsenal ships and Belknap cruisers of the 9th and 1th fleet. Again, a massive missile volley rained down on Tocrowkia's defenses, ninehundred again on each sector. After all of the graphite missiles were launched, the Aasimar's awaited the heavily protected convoy of transport ships, bringing in more ammunition.

Total # of missiles fired: 900 on a 50km zone west of invasion point number 1 (also spanning 50km) and another 900 on a 50km zone east of invasion point number 1. 400 Graphite missiles have been fired by 4 Aasimar class Battlecruisers, targetting major powerstations, water purification plants and electricity distribution stations.

[Also, if you could mark on my map where this is going place, it would help.]

Guffingford's missiles hit with deadly effect. Most of Tocrowkia's coastal cities were slums, filled with the unemployed; the cities were filled with cheap houses, which caught fire easily. The missiles also disabled several of slums electricity and water plants, delving the cities into darkness, well, not really. The cities were still alight with flames.

Along the beaches cities, the toll was equally as heavy. Rather it was schoolgirls taking their dogs on walks, or soldiers setting up positions, each missile killed something. The toll fell heavier on the civilian population, how ever, as the government had forbidden any form of evacuation to take place. They needed the human barrier.

How ever, hope was insight. The Homeland protection fleet was heading fourth to meet the Guffingfordians.

Phase 2 of operation: Culling the Weak

"Sir, we are seeing a large fleet movement of Tocrowkia going to fight us."
"How many ships are they sending?" The officer looked at the statistics screen, as he added up the numbers.
"One hundred forty five sir."
"We can take them. Easily. Signal the Aasimar's anti-shipping missile batteries to start taking down all their destroyers and cruisers."
"Aye sir." The officer walked down the corridor to the communications officer and told him what to transmit.
"The poor bastards... They have no idea what's in store for them."

As the Sledgehammer [OOC: information on those will be posted ASAP] anti-shipping missiles took off, the Zumwalt's and Belknaps began another round of graphite bombing on Tocrowkia, this time the targets were the inner cities of the nation. From the Firestorm class arsenal ships, fuel-air missiles began to take off, heading towards the most densely populated areas of Tocrowkia. The deathcount would go in the millions, but this was none of Guffingford's concern.

Missiles fired at incoming navy: 400 Sledgehammer ship-to-ship missiles
Missiles fired at hostile soil: 70 Graphite payloads; 40 fuel-air payloads

[I know this might seem like god modding, but I'll let you post the losses for your missiles first and then I will post updated stats on my naval losses.]

Guffingford has forgotten something, how ever. Tocrowkia's anti-missile defences. On the ships and on Tocrowkian soil, anti-aircraft guns pummeled round after round at the oncoming missiles. In addition, the Tocrowkians fired their own missiles, aiming to collide them with Guffingfords missiles in mid air.

Also, on top of this, Tocrowkia's fighters locked onto the said missiles, and fired their own at them. All in all, this plan would be estimated to take out half, or even 55% of the Guffingfordian missiles before they even hit Tocrowkian possessions. How ever, some slipped through the tight net of defense, and entire blocks disappeared

How ever, the Naval security was alot less tight, due to the shock of the missile armada heading towards them. The fleet launched their own missiles, hoping to block some of the incoming missiles with their own. How ever, around 20 Destroyers were sunk and at least 14 other ships were damaged by the Guffingfordian missiles.

How ever, The Reich was about to prove they were not weak. On mainland Tocrowkia, "Operation: Eve" Was being set into motion. Near the coastal cities, hundreds of portable missiles and silo-based cruised missiles were launched at the Guffingfordian fleet.

Okay, edited. Hope thats okay. Anyways, I will clarify what I was going to do in the original post.

Chart:

1)Guffingford fires missiles at fleet

2)Tocrowkian fleet, seeing this, fires their own missiles/AA guns. How ever, seeing as some Missiles had to be launched sooner then others, and or some Tocrowkian ships were closer to them then others, thus resulting in the original six losses.

3)You post losses for your missiles

4)I post updated losses for my Navy.

I was not trying to god mod in the slighest, quite the opposite actually.

OOC: 363 Cruise missiles fired my navy of roughly 540 ships, and an additional 600 missiles coming from Tocrowkia. Nothing I can't handle with my new navy.

IC:
From the control room of the flagship the radar screens showed the massive amount of green dots, and on the Toryu class battleships the CIWS Goalkeeper anti-missile batteries began to commence fire, taking down the most threatening ones coming from the Tocrowkian navy. The massive missile attack was severely crippled by the most effective cooperation between the Man-o-War computer system steering the CIWS fully automatic, combined with the k-band tracking radar makes this a 100% accurate piece of machinery. However, some missiles were able to penetrate the tight network and di damage, but the extremely flexible and durable armour of the Guffingfordii navy, held strong. The blasts of the missiles who did damage was contained by the heavily armoured bulkheads, and the internal superstructure of the vessels.

After hours of intense fighting against the rain of missiles, the Aasimars and Belknaps were unharmed - untouched. The only thing you could see are holes punch through the armour, and those are being repaired. A total of 29 vessels has sunk, 32 are damaged. Now it was time to finish this. The commander of the fleet, M. M. Dafydd, ordered to fill all QLS (Quick Lauch Systems) to be filled with Sledgehammer missiles and to prepare for a missile barge unseen. The fifteen Aasimar class battlecruisers have been refilled after the skirmish, and each QLS can contain a maximum of five missiles, but only three are loaded because it would take too much time otherwise. This meant that one Aasimar can fire an amazing number of 432 missiles in one single volley. The time of launch isn't at the exact moment, but every missile is fired after a second. It takes fortyfive seconds to reload the missile with the QLS, so we can fire 432 missiles times three meaning that a single Aasimar can launch 1296 missiles in a single strike. Do this times fifteen and you'll see why you are no match for us. Nineteen thousand fourhundred and forty missiles were about to be launched at the remaining Tocrowkian navy. The mass produced Sledgehammer missile was about to prove its worth again.

The ships positioned themselves, and Dafydd entered the lauch code. In a matter of seconds, the Tocrowkian navy would be no more.

The Guffingfordii attack on the navy was devastating to say the least, all of the surface vessels had been sunk, and over 40,000 Tocrowkians were presumed to have gone with them. How ever, the U-Boats had vanished. Rather they were destroyed or not was not known, but no evidence existed of their destruction. Many in the high command believed they were recalled for a new operation.

On mainland Tocrowkia, the second phase of Operation Eve was about to commence. Tens of thousands of ICBMS, which would normally have nuclear tips were being prepared. The heads were now filled with high explosives instead. Along with that, even more scuds and cruise missiles were being prepared, but all of these missiles packed a special punch.

Their tips were infact powerful, high speed drills, which would dig into the hulls of the Guffingfordian ships and explode after 30 secs of drilling. All over Tocrowkia, the out line of missiles could be seen dotting the sky. It was enough to fill every Tocrowkian with pride as they saw the missiles being slugged at Guffingford.

Additionaly, Reinhard payed a trip to Tocrowkia's coastal barriers, despite the obvious dangers. He told reporters even though the Naval battle was over, hope was not lost, but rather stronger. He commented. "I'll have victory within three months."

The rabble of missiles was fired at Guffingfordii Navy, but because of the extremely tight ABM and Anti-Cruise Missile network, not to mention the national defences all anti-missile systems jumped on red alert the minute satellites picked up the massive launch from Tocrowkia. From space, the ABM satellites picked out the ICBM's with amazing ease, explosions were seen all over. However, the sheer size of the attack meant that many ships were lost in the battle, the 100% computer steered Man-o-War launch system was still targetting incoming missiles, but it was to no avail. 40% of the navy was destroyed due to mismanagement of the missiles fired, without an advanced locking system this strike was destined to fail partially. The missiles rained down, instead of picking individual targets. Many missiles plunged into the seas, others missed the ships, while many other missiles were gunned down by the CIWS Goalkeeper system. Only the flagship managed to leave this battle completely unharmed. Remarkably, the heavy classes of the navy, the Aasimar, Belknap and Toryu suffered the least amounts of damage. It was clear the Tocrowkians were eager to destroy the Guffingfordii navy, but they have failed. All ships were equipped with the latest anti-missile advancements, able to cope with such extreme countermeasures. The keyparts of the Guffingfordii Navy, such as the Firestorm class Arsenal ships were still in good shape, but they didn't fire any missiles at Tocrowkia. Instead, the remanining pulled back - this could only mean the worst of the worst.

Naval Command

This step done by Tocrowkia was fully expectable, and these ships were expendable. Most of them were from the old outdated navy, and this was an amazing test how the new line of vessels would fare in such extreme battle conditions - they have proved this. Now it was time to put an end to this nonsense battle. Fuel Air missiles have always proved their worth in battle, so it was time to start a full scale missile strike on Tocrowkia. It's boring, it's not glorious, but it is necessary. First all of their ICBM and Cruise missile batteries had to be taken down with Graphite charges, possibly EMP's as well. If a nuclear weapon was detonated above Tocrowkia in space, than the EMP would damage, if strategically detonated, take out many key structures of their army. Assembly, production, logistics. If any of those links was broken, then their military would suffer greatly. It was calculated, according to the latest factsheets, that is had to be impossible for a nation such as Tocrowkia to harden all sites to make them EMP resistant effectively.

The satellite datafeeds have shown the Naval and Strategic Command where the major production area's are, and gives the Guffingfordii's a good idea where the soft spots are - where to strike with maximum force. Furthermore, the sheer amount of missiles fired meant that the Tocrowkian economy had to suffer greatly from these expensive strikes - with little to no output compared to the direct-hit-and-run attacks from Guffingford. From the Guffingfordii inland ICBM batteries Fuel-Air missiles were prepared to be launched at Tocrowkia, after the ortillery platforms in space released the nuclear weapons to create the deadly fallout above Tocrowkia.

Minutes after the nuclear weapons were released, it began its way down to earth, to Tocrowkia. At the right altitude, the nuclear weapon exploded with deadly force, and released an even deadlier form of energy - the electro magnetic pulse. It was only a matter or seconds when it took down the Tocrowkian electric networks, ABM systems, anti-aircraft installations... All the vital constructions to defend a nation were taken down. A total of 10 warheads were detonated above Tocrowkia, before they had the time to respond to the threat. This attack would mean the climax of the war, a turning point. An estimate of 90% of Tocrowkians defences down, they had little chance of winning the war. And to make sure all electric networks were down, ten thousand graphite missiles were sent at various stations handling the electric current before sending to cities and such.

Tocrowkia was cloaked in darkness, but the infrared tracking systems were not bothered by that to say the least. From outer space the satellites kept tracking the missiles the whole trajectory before impact. When the first wave of graphite was complete, the wave of Fuel Air missiles was launched.

OOC: Just to clarify,
10.000 Graphite missiles at powerstations and other electricity facilities
35.000 Fuel Air missiles launched at capital and outlying cities.
Information on the fuel air missile: http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/dumb/fae.htm

Note: an EMP is in no way the same as an WMD. It cannot kill humans, it disables electrical systems and it extremely hard to stop. Faraday's cage protects yourself from lightening and stops radio signals - EMPs are a different story.
