The entire assassination plot was a fake to protect the national security of the Federal Republic of Canada from destablization, which happened when President Wittrock went on holiday after he found out from intelligence reports that his wife and daughter were murdered by sadistic terrorists. The President sat on the porch of his finacees parent's cabin, in a secluded area, where members of the Canadian National Intelligence Agency's Clandestine Service patrolled the area to turn other people away who may seem to give away the President's whereabouts.

Special Agent David Chalmers walked down the dirt path towards the porch as he placed his arms on his waist as his automatic weapon held across his shoulder on a sling, "Hello Mister President. Are are you doing on this fine day?"

"I am doing well, thank you for asking, Special Agent Chalmers. Yourself?"

"Good."

"I have received intelligence reports from the Director Mosher regarding National Security, he has given us the greenlight to return. All of the Cheda Family have been arrested and their supporters have been extradited back to Pacitalia. As well, Former-Senior Deputy Prime Minister of Canada has been sent here to be charged for conspiracy and treason against the Federal Republic of Canada."

"Good, good. On what grounds is Mister Karagounis been extradited for treason and conspiracy?"

"He has had connections with the mob in Pacitalia until he got involved into domestic politics. The Cheda Family is his own creation."

"I see. So it is safe to come back? How will we explain this to the Canadian people?"

"Director Mosher will debrief you on that when you meet him at Fort Nelson for a top secret meeting between him, you and the Secretary."

"Alright."

Undisclosed Location, Fort Nelson, British Columbia, Federal Republic of Canada

A day and a half later, former Canadian President Anthony Raymond Wittrock walked into the lowly lighted room whiched appeared to be an old interrogation room used by the Secret Canadian Forces during the rebelling against Lord Protecteur Gregory MacBeth and his Neo-Fascist Government.

Secretary Darren Temple already had found himself a spot in the room as he stood up, "Mister President. Welcome back home."

Director Mosher followed behind the President, "Mister President, I think the only thing we can do is speak the truth what really happened. It will be the only way the trust of the Canadian people will vote for you again in the upcoming election in a few weeks."

President Wittrock nodded, "Can't we say that, I survived?"

Mosher, "No.... your autospy files were released to the public, through a leak which we discovered, he has been arrested and will be charged for treason."

"Try and get the Press Corps to get me some time on the major television networks to speak to the people. However, I want a statement before I come on the air, that I am still alive before I do so."

"Understood, Mister President."

On-set of CTV News 9, Vancouver, British Columbia, Federal Republic of Canada

A large smile on Paul Brannon's face lit up as the news he just recently heard was the best thing that could happen at this period of time for the Canadian people and their decrease in their nationalism and patriotism, "This has been a recent report on our former-President Anthony Raymond Wittrock; he is still alive! I repeat, our President is still alive. Within thirty minutes, the President himself will speak to our great nation, the truth of what happened and the story to shut down a mob family and organized crime."

Thirty Minutess later.....

"Greetings to the people of the Federal Republic of Canada. I apologize for rising from my grave, however, it was not me who was assassinated over a month ago after having dinner at the Eastern Canadian Ambassador's Residence.

"We recieved intelligence through the CNIA and the CNSTF, knew that the Cheda Family, a powerful syndicate of organized crime in our country had a plot to kill both me and the Secretary of State, Secretary Darren Temple. The only way to protect national security was to fake our deaths because the Cheda Family would keep on going after me, even if we did make a few arrests. The Cheda Family has now been placed under arrest in our maximum security prisions. Some are sentenced to death, some will serve their life sentences.

"I am sincerely sorry, that I had to fake my death however, I believe that our nation will continue in its superiority.

"I am announcing my running for President in a few days, have a good night to all of you."

The President waved his hand goodbye as the screen slowly dimmed back to the original broadcast.
