The Middle East has long been a center of power, from the Persian Empire, Egypt, Alexander the Great, Rome, the Muslim Empire, the leaders stretch from the ancient past to modern day. Much of the world's oil supply comes from the Middle East, and the religious centers of Islam, Christianity, and Judaism are all in the reigion. We must make sure that we are safe, that our holy sites are protected, and that oil is allowed to flow.

I propose creating a coalition of nations designed to stabilize and protect the Middle East, using whatever means neccessary to protect the citizens of the world.

Would You count Uzbekistan as middle eastern? I know the EII maps dont but it is in the same general (very general) region.

The Templars are, of course, interested in the continued peace and prosperity of the middle east. However, it is clear that certain steps must be taken, perhaps physically, for said prosperity to be achieved. As long as this Coalition recognizes that (USSR), count the Templars in

The massive screen was tracking the movements of Greenmanbry's fleets as they approached Automagfreek's waters. But the congregation of military and political think tanks gathered in the War Room was not interested in the Automagfreek situation, just yet that is.

Lord Langley, Commander of the Air Force, was very selective when he ordered this group - consisting of the IDDG's most brutal generals and most cunning politicians - to meet with him.

He cleared his throat and rose slowly from his seat at the head of the table. The light from the projector illuminated his recognizably African face. He stared into the eyes of his comrades - one by one - examining their complexion, "A new alliance is being forged," he paused and his eyes continued to scan the room, "in the sands of Arabia. An alliance this region has longed for for millenia. An alliance to stabilize and protect the Middle East. Elephantum and The Lightning Star are commited to this pact and have invited the IDDG into this alliance."

An old man, dressed in military attire, interrupted the Commander, "Arabia cannot be complete without current Hogsweatian territ-"

"Patience, my friend. Patience. Obviously, the main aim of this alliance will be to 'secure', even 'pacify' all of Arabia..." Langley grinned, and the generals around the room nodded wearily.

"But there's another benefit to joining this group," Langley's grin once again materialized, "Greenmanbry will be the largest member in it. The mightiest member in it. And, gentlemen, the closest to the action." He chuckled, "The closest to the loot. The closest to Mecca, and Medina, and Jeddah, gentlemen."

We received earlier today an invitation from the The Quasi-Oligarchal Sultanate of Elephantum to join a coalition of nations willing to stabilize the Middle East and secure the balance of power in this volatile region. The Infernal Demonic Dominion of Greenmanbry is a major power in the Middle East, and it is imperative that we think favorably of such an alliance in order for it to succeed.

Bearing that in mind, the IDDG officially expresses its interest in both joining this coalition and making its efforts to preserve the peace in the Middle East a success. Obviously, this interest stems from the fact that a large percentage of Greenmanbry's population resides in this region, and many of Greenmanbry's subjects are members of the three divine faiths to whom this region is of great importance.

Any entity aiming to destabilize the Middle East or meddle in its affairs is, in effect, declaring the existence of a state of war between itself and the Infernal Demonic Dominion.

This isnt your biggest concern, we've already decided how to split up Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Iraq

well, anti-hogsweat is the original intent, but hopefully it will last after that

I have a good reason for Anti-Hogsweatism, his attackon Bahrain in February, TLS is an ally, and can use that as a reason, as for other members, just expansionism and a big giant patch of land

Well, at the foundation yes, you did need land, but now you need to be approved by the members of the alliance. There is a 10-day voting period. At the end of the ten days, if you 50% (note-not 51%) or more of the voting members are in favor of inducting you, we will send you a copy of the constitution via telegram. If you agree, you will be sent the forum password.

I am going to, maybe, add PHPbb to my personal site and ditch those forums, you never know...If I do I will tell you so you can save what posts you want or if you want me to move them let me know. I have to have your permission to do that. Yes this is true, I have never gone into any of those boards that I am not a part of (MESC, Roman Confed, that other one, and that other one).
