Capital Region,Walitusoo -- Emperor Walitus, leader of The Empire of Walitusoo, addressed the world today.
"I, Emperor Walitus, have developed the most deadly explosive device ever known. Walitusooite technicians have just come to grips with the reality of my new possession. I have assembled my armies and they are ready to be deployed within seconds of my choosing. Fear, globe, fear my name."
The shock of this announcement was felt world wide. Even the Première of The Armed Republic of iToba was left dumbfounded. Earlier reports from the iToba capital, Brandon, stated that the Première was working very closely with Emperor Walitus. These reports were denied by parliament hill, but the Première's response to Emperor Walitus' announcement seem to contradict those.
The Première addressed his nation, "People of iToba, the Empire of Walitusoo has developed the most devastating explosive device ever known. I was aware far earlier than any of you, my loyal subjects who each receive a ballot at election time, since I have recently been working very closely with Emperor Walitus.
"He has the mind of a chimp and may act rashly at any moment. He CAN NOT be trusted."
Emperor Walitus' global address went on to say, "I also have 13 beautiful daughters whom must be wed. I will allow them to marry any nation's leader who is willing to ally their nation with mine. For the wedding to be official, the leader must arrange a bride price of weaponry with me. Please make an offer and we will negotiate."
The Emperor ended with the traditional Walitusooite blessing: "...And may the walirusbo be with you."
