Cardinal Glick has declared it the destiny of the Knight Templars to re-take the holy land, and so the nation has begun the move. All forces under Templar might are being marshaled with the greatest haste
OOC: A lot more soon . . . need the conclave to finish . . . but make no mistake, this is a thread for Israel.

I saw IDF on the NATO forums earlier today. Dunno why he didn't login, but I KNOW that he's still going to be active in EII. He was holding that big civil war earlier, remember?

It said he had been inactive 21 days on his page thingy . . .and it has been longer than that in Earth II anyways.
Also, i did claim it, but this is just an rp for it, since I didnt know if an Rp was necessary or not

Yeah. He passed into 21 days of inactivity. That's been a long-held rule, if you go that far your consent is not required to lose your land and it must be done through RP.
By the way, his civil war was more NS than E2.
Just keep in mine TKT that he did have a formidible navy, army, and air force, most of which were based in Israel. You wouldn't be fighting just dirt, you'd be FIGHTING.

I do plan for a large fight, and an extensive one . . this will involve almost all of my military, so it will be lengthy, which is why I put it off a bit . . . but It'll be goooooooooooood

Well if you will be fighting... let's just say I'd have to get involved since IDF remains an ally of mine.

Any idea what happened to him? I didn't see him say anything over at his civil war or anywhere. Did he leave a message on the NATO forums or something?

Official Statement from The Imperial Commonwealth of The Island of Rose:
I'm going to keep it short and sweet. Israel is an ally of the Commonwealth. If any Templari ships get close to Israeli waters, the Commonwealth and possibly the whole of NATO (alliance wank) will get involved. Do not test us, you won't like the results.

Official Notification from Vastiva
Our nation has long maintained significant resources within the boundaries of our ally, IDF.
Should any attempt at hostile action be taken, we shall have no problems unleashing them on you in a form of total war your nation has not seen before - nor shall any living in your nation see hereafter.
Do not test our mettle nor our patience.

OOC: HEy hey hey! IDF isnt even in Earth II anymore. I'm not attacking him. It's empty territory that I claimed, recognized by Layarteb on the main Earth II thread, and this is the Rp for it. IDF no longer exists for you to be allied with. Someone rping as the resistance would be much help though
And Vastiva, ya arent in Earth II, so ya cant really participate.

Statement from the Department of War
Let the world behold the acts of aggression and imperialism that the criminal regime of The Knights Templar has committed against the nation of Israel. This invasion of IDF territory is an affront to all sovereign peoples, and especially so to the Militant Imperium due to our long history of friendship with Israel.
As IDF has been an ally of the highest caliber to the Imperium, Tyrandis is bound by honor and treaty restore the government. Our objective is simple: the complete liberation of Israel from foreign domination.
Thus, the Militant Imperium of Tyrandis issues this ultimatum to the Templari government: Pull out of IDF territory completely.
Failure to meet this demand within forty eight hours will result in a state of hostilities between the Militant Imperium and The Knights Templar.

OOC: Statement from the Department of Sanity:
IDF isnt in Earth II anymore. He was gone for like 21 days, and in this rp, and Earth II as a whole, his territories are anarchy now. IDF does not exist, so do not prop it up as it does

IC: Perhaps we should be concerned, General Marcellus thought. Then he had a hearty laugh
With the Templar fleet permantly stationed in the persian gulf, his troops had no problem slipping into Jerusalem. He was proud that his forces could put him in the town hall in only one day of fierce fighting .. .
The Templar paratroopers had been first. Droppping in from the specially equipped B-1s during the night, they had landed on the very rooftops of Jerusalem, as the anarchistic peasents had been pre-occupied, or drunk, or both. Despite one of the three companies being somewhat pinned down, due to a bad drop that put them right outside the city gates, the other two had accomplished their objective and taken the perimiter defences, and opened them
And then came the tanks.
While most of The Templar's heavy attck forces concentrated elsewhere, the several tanks that rolled in were more than enough.
The peasents, faced with anarchy after the government had collapsed weeks ago, saw their defences gone, tanks in the streets, and men on their rooftops. And somehow, more just cam streaming in. Realzing the lack of civilian casualty, the attacker's civility, and the futility, the enitre city seemed to drop down, and surrender.
Men need to be governed, Marcellus reasoned, with another laugh. THe special orders of extreme caution, and devotion to sacrifice his own soldiers for the sake of the civilians, had not come without a price. While it led to an easy transfer in power, he had lost far more men then he thought neccessary. Of his originall three, only two companies remained. With re-inforcemments streaming in, he worried not about the defense of Jerusalem. He worried of elsewhere. The precisly co-ordinated, deadly, but civilian-firendly attacked had bogged down elsewhere. Only Tel Aviv had been taken with comparative success, and while forces were close to taking the rest of the major cities, he was concerned. I should be out there, he thought. The attack last night was brilliant, why aren't the using me?
Better to work than complain, he said to himself, and got back to preparing the defenses
