Having been starved, robbed and down trodded by the oppressive Finnish people, the Readanian 'minorities' have taken up arms against these vile men. The people calling themselves Readanians appear to be of some relation to the Slavs but with stricter and more bizzare customs and rituals. They have long held on to their pagan belief, calling the teachings of Christians treacherous and evil. The pro-catholic Finnish peasants, also starved and poor thanks to the Finnish rulership have gone so far as to join the anti-christian Readanians in this conflict.
The revolution truly began at the Finnish capital of Helsinki when the Readanian protests turned into riots. The city was all but destroyed in the riots as the under payed police joined the rebelsin their revolution. The finnish leader escaped but the other Finnish people who had a great deal of wealth were gathered and imprisoned. The ones who held office in the goverment of Finland, however, were executed in the rituals of the Readanian relgion. Burned alive after all limbs and most organs were removed.
After the chaotic revolt of Helsinki, the Readanian leader emerged. That leader being a former officer of the finnish armed forces named Joseph Rannos.
Though, the destruction of the Finnish capital seemed to ensure victory, Valkors was determined to create a strong army to annilate any remaining Finnish resisters.

OOC: Well, in summary, the Readanians and Finnish lower class have taken control of the capital of Finland and the southern parts of the country. I'd appreciate someone to RP the Finnish Loyalists.

OOC: I suppose I've waited long enough for someone to roleplay the resistance.

IC:

The Loyalists were scattered, it would only be a matter of time before they were annilated by the forces of the Readanians. Their last hope seemed to be an attempt to retake Helsinki and kill the Readanian ruler. Thus, a rag tag army of 30,000 marched back southward. Their defeat would be one of the first great victories of the Readanians.

The attackers had one advantage in their hopeless battle, the element of surprise. The Readanians had not suspected that they would even attempt this sort of foolish tactic. The capital was half theirs an hour into the conflict.

The ruler of the Readanians sat upon a great, wooden chair that his servants had found in the vaults of the castle. He had been declared by his people as King and they only saw it fit for their king to have a throne.
A messenger came sprinting through the entrance way to his King's throne room. Rannos sat upon his throne, looking upon his city in horror and curiousity. Lights danced across the evening sky, mocking the king. The city was burning.

"Milord," began the messenger bowing low. "the loyalists have returned, they took half of the city before we had time to gather our defences. 30,000 in total. Our remaining defenders number 20,000 and thinly spread to say the least. We've requested that all other troops return here immediately. 5,000 of our troops have gathered north of here and well be here within an hour or so."

"30,000?!" repeated Rannos, "I doubted that there was even 30,000 of them left hiding in the north. Have our men hold them as long as they can."

Within that hour, the loyalists had gained more than a fourth more of the city. The remaining defenders were entrenched in shallow trenches near the capital building of their king. The Loyalist artillery would soon destroy the remaining 15,000 defenders and the city would be their's.
It was to their misfortune, however, that the Readanian reinforcements arrived and they had not arrived unprepared. With them, they had several dozen WWII Soviet tanks. The Loyalist commanders near the rear were quickly killed in the beginning chaos.
Hearing the Finnish curses and Readanian cheers in the north, the city defenders charged the bewildered Loyalists. The Finns were caught between hammer and anvil. Very few escaped and most were killed. The Readanians had achieved victory, Finalnd was now the lands of Rea Dan.
