PEARSON-CLASS MAIN BATTLE TANK

REQUIREMENT:
East Canadian Land Forces Command (Army) issued a directive for a new main battle tank to enter service, to replace the old Leopard 2A4s. It was supposed to be capable of the following:

-Extended operations in cold weather
-Relatively fast
-Used an ETC gun
-Was affordable and cost-effective to run.

After dozens of designs, Land Forces Command finally settled on a design proposed by General Motors Defence of London, Ontario, named the "Pearson", in honour of the former Prime Minister.

The Pearson-class is based off of the Russian T-90 design, however, GMD have made several modifications to it, to make it suitable for operations in Canada, such as the ones mentioned below:
-Engine replaced with new GMD design
-Cannon replaced
-Armour replaced with new Contact 7 armour
-Suspension replaced to allow Pearson to cross tougher obstacles.

The Pearson has also been mounted with a prototype Valkyrie laser anti-missile system.

Front & side armor laminated front, side and top armor behind Contact-7 ERA

Front armor rating, mm RHA vs APFSDS: 550 mm + 250-280mm with Contact-7= 850-880 mm
vs HEAT: 650 mm + 500-700mm with Contact-7 = 1,250-1,450mm


The Pearson is advertised at $7.5 million per unit. East Canadian Forces have accepted a few for testing, and more are expected to be ordered.

Also, we would like to purchase the rights to build these tanks on our own. We are in need of a fast MBT, as ours is bit on the slow side.

The Grand Duchy of Calpe would like to buy 20 of these fine tanks for testing purposes and also, we would be interested in purchasing production rights for the tank so we can build them ourselves. Please reply with the price of the production rights if u agree to sell them.
