The Comona Island Chain 150 Miles Southeast of the City of Comberth has been extended due to recent volcanic activity. According to the Human Intelligence Advancement Research Center's Geological Survey, the 15 Islands Chain has been extended to 23 Islands.

The Comona Islands are a Mineral Rich province of Vuhifell, containing everything from Oil to Coal, and Platinum to Einsteinium.

Testing had proved that the 8 new islands are as rich in minerals and fuel as their 15 counterparts, and seeing as Private Corporations have only laid their hands upon 4 of these new islands, The Vuhifellian Government is willing to lease the remaining 4 islands to any nation that wants them, at a price above 10,000 dollars per year. (Cheap price when you consider that every shovel full of earth contains at least one mineral of value or importance)

Seeing the recent shortage of certain materials in Tetchuan, Kremlin Castro has said that he is interested and is willing to pay the 10,000 USD a year for the islands.

The money will go to rich people so they can expand their bank accoun.....erm....I mean....The money will go to the Foxtecha Corporation so they can expand our indus....wait that didn't come out right either....

The Governing body of RavenStad is intersted in knowing if the price of 10,000 per year is per island or for all for, the goverment wishes you to know that its willing to pay up $4.5 Billion (taken from the Social Welfare budget) for upto 5-10 years for complete control of one of the islands depending on size.

Since our statement seems to be ignored we may just retract our statement, The Senate was prepared to allow a total inexsess of 1.5 Trillion payed over time in sums of 4.5 Billion depending on the size and minral richness content. But i guess we can save Tax payers money and forget about passing that Bill

OOC: i said payed over time, my wellfare budget is just above 4.5 billion USD and thats whats we would be useing to pay for island. Since my Pop grows so would the budget (unless it was drop altogether then i would just take the money from elce where). for me 1NS year is 2 days for you it might be 1ns year is 1 day (so i would be paying you 4.5 bill per year but the cash would also incress till the deupt is payed off depending on our offer and what you agree on. never said i would pay you the price right off cos i know i cant afford that but i can if i pay it off over time.

The Senate is willing to pay a flat rate (the minimal we will pay per year) of $4.5 Billion (9 Billion Stads) and a $5 billion (10 Billion Stads) incress if the Economy incress's to a total of $900 Billion (1.8 Trillion Stads), if this offer is not acceptable i have been given permission to incress our offer.

OOC: my plans for both islands are to devlop them, on Malkan we would take the lowest area (closest to sea level) and basicly level it so a small to medium port/naval base can be built or build under sea rail connection between the 2 islands depending on what one would be cheaper. it would also become a strong base for the Air force, hte other island would be used as a navel base with a small port. Ofcorse if say one or two of your corporations wanted to help in these matters or even want mining rights im shore some arangement could be made for a small price reduction on the islands, if say it was a shared venture and mining rights costs where knocked off also.

Your request for the Ponbeam and Malkan Islands have been confirmed, oour government is now turning control of all facilities on the islands to your nation once the first payment has been recieved.

so how would you like it, in gold, cash or a lovely bank transfer into unnamed accounts to be used how ever you want. Also our offer is still open for the help of the Devlopment of the 2 islands, its a win win for you since if you help devlop the populas living space (towns, cities, etc), inferstruture and so forth im shore i can conviced the Senate to lower the price for your corporations if they wish mining rights. Also the Senate wishes to know if your willing to sign a non agression pact with The Republic of RavenStad aswell as the normal trade treaties, territorial claims of the sea around said islands (something thats agreeable to both parties) and the like.
The First payment should be with you shortly and the first group of settlers and Defence force are on route, escorted by the 1st Carrier group (2 Invincible class STOVL/VSTOL Carriers, 3 Type 42 Destroyers, 3 Type 22 Broadsword frigate). the ETA is X days.
