Das Bundesumweltministerium, or the Federal Environment Ministry, has been formed by the Grosstag. It's primary goal is to help preserve the (remaining) environment from overdevelopment.

For many, many years, the environment was unprotected, and this legislation will hurt many businesses that rely on this unprotection. Conservative militancy is at an all-time high.

The Südattika Holzwerk (South Attican Lumber Works) has been closed by the BWM. SAH created approximately 5% of the total GDP for the southern Attican area, excluding Pleissen. This has created enormous unrest in South Attica.

In reponse, the Grosstag has enacted an embargo on natural resources from Freudotopia. (Noticing the Attica has an enormous population and economy, I would assume this would hurt yours)

In all actuality this embargo will not work, for said nation you are embargoing, has more than enough options to rely on. In fact, we can pick up any trade that you decided to end, if he trades with you at all.

OOC: That isn't how the global economy works -- if Greece embargoed say Macedonia (which they did), the United States could not alleviate their tarrifs on Macedonian imports and subsidize their exports to Macedonia, and hope to stabilize their economy...
