[reporter places a hand on her ear-pieace] I'm reaciving word that Vladofstock has been blockaded by the fleet, and that bombardmant has commencened on all major cities by aircraft and guided missles. We will bring you more as the situation unfolds.
The Greneders, number at 15,000 men, landed on the west coast of the island know as Govok by the natives, but the army had given it the designation of Sound Island, for no reason. They would advance south along the coast, sweeping into the towns, the names disregarded and replaced with numbers. City 7 was the first objective for the division.
They moved south quickly, and pounced on the unsespecting town two hours after landing. The 75 howitzers where towed into positision and began firing on the militia garrsion, numberinng 150 men, armed with bolt action rifles. After 10 minutes of consistant fire, the towns folk raised a white flag over the town hall. The commanding officer did not order the seise fire until two minutes later.
They advanced into the city. From somewhere, the order was given to set fire to the town. They thenmoved on to cities 12 and 6, resting before moving on City 3.
OOC: This isn't being reported, so none of you know about the specifics, just that we began the assault. The city numbers are random.

IC:
The 1st infantry landed between City 1 and City 5 and began the north-west sweep to City 5. The 2nd infantry landed north west of City 8 and started they're advance towards it. They have yet to capture it because they're C.O. wishes to be sure the garrison is demolished by moratar fire before he moves.
The Grenediers moved fast, and frightened cities 12 and 6 into surrender. City 3 was, however, to be shelled before advanceing into the city. The artillary opened fire on the city, with no target specified by the C.O., the crews just fired at maximum volume.

The first infantry commenced the mortar barage agaist City 5, again, the C.O. gave no specified target.

The second infrantry had nearly leveled City 8. The C.O. was statisfied and moved on towards City 4.
Within one week, the Grenedeirs had conquored their way to the capital. The 1st and 2nd infantry had also surrounded the capital. Cities on the norther ilsands where cut off, blockaded by the Polskay task forces. The carrier based fighter bombers had demolished nearly every cities ability to be a threat.
The mortars and howitzers had been pounding the capital for two days, and when the army entered, it was to a totally submisive city. The price of Vladofstock signed the surrender, and on that day, The Duchy was a good portion bigger.

What is the reason of this annexation?
There are old documents that clearly show that the Mouzer familiy line has rigths to the crown of the principality. In addition, they're foces lanched a terrorist assault on our harbour, sinking an unloaded oil tanker.

Count Kristof I Hobbezak wishes to express his concern about this situation, and asks the Polskay troops to withdraw asap, as the Commonwealth has economical interests in Vladofstock. If you don't withdraw, and this as soon as possible, we will have to liberate our economic interests by militairy force...
