OOC: If you are political correct and can't stand a piece of text presented to you on an internet forum don't read. I am not even attempting to demonize Muslims in this thread so this is NOT meant as a flame or flame-bait in any way. I'm not going into discussion with any non-moderator player about the content. There's NO political statement in this thread whatsoever nor what I want to happen in real life. This is a story, and in stories (bad) things happen.
And please bear in mind I am not a religious person, but killing Catholics and Christians is a bit... in poor taste today.

Batavia, Colonial Government Office
“Ah good to see you Mr Semaranche, I have some documents for you to look into.” The servant presented Semaranche with a folder officially sealed with the Prussian Eagle in wax. Semaranche took it, signed the little piece of paper to prove he received it and walked through the garden to his office. As always, it’s a sunny day in Indonesia. The tropical birds and parrots shrieking through the dense trees, monkeys screeching and the chopping sound of the gardener who was mowing the lawn. Semaranche unlocked his office, went in and took a quick look through the documents. All of them came from Berlin, orders what to purchase, where to trade, which military exercises have to be conducted where and when. All standard, nothing out of the ordinary. Semaranche wasn’t in the mood to work on a Sunday, but this had to be done. First he called the Board of Asian Trade in Shanghai, then signed some new orders to increase the rice production and to start rounding up illegal loggers. After a few hours he was done, his desk was empty and it was time for relaxation. The gardener already went home and the sun was setting.
Semaranche walked to his car and drove off to the centre of town, to the business district. He was having a good time with an ambassador, several Japanese businessmen from Tokyo and the occasional general from the Reich’s Armee. Nobody was expecting what was about to happen.
“For Gods sake! Someone get an ambulance!” The streets were littered with debris and corpses torn apart by the blast, the bar on the other side of the street turned into the burning pile of wood and brick, while people were desperately trying to extinguish their burning clothes. Children crying, mothers were looking for their children between the dead bodies. The fire department and medical services raced to the scene, heavily burned victims were left to die; they wouldn’t make it through the night. Semaranche miraculously survived this catastrophe, and wounded he swore revenge. He was the only person who could stomp his feelings of sadness and grief away and to let hatred grow within. “Death to those who have done this!”
GBA – Guffingford Broadcasting Agency
“Welcome to this unscheduled broadcast of GBA, our regular programmes are interrupted for this special broadcast coming from Colonial Indonesia, where a massive bomb has destroyed a large part of the Batavia business district. So far we have over one thousand individuals reported dead and over four thousand injured by this appalling act. The people who have done this are unknown, and a STASI investigation is already on the scene to find out who is behind this, and to find out if they have links to known terrorist organisations. We will keep you updated on the situation…
And this is just in, our ambassador Mr Semaranche is reported to be alive and well.”
