Any FT nations who wish to join the Republic are welcome to. Let me tell you a bit about us.
The Republic is a region (yes, region, as in on NS, so if you join, you'll have to move to the region) of nations that come together under and elected senate. The senate then elects 1 imperator to be the head of the senate. The senate votes on passing new laws and regional problems and issues. The senate also mainly deals with all international things between other nations outside of the Republic but nations not in the Republic can make seperate deals between their nations and other nations, the senate just speaks for all of the Republic. When you join the Republic, you must wait 5 days to become a full citizen of the Republic. Only citizens can become senators or have any power in the region. All citizens have an equal chance at becoming a senator, they simply have to campaign. To run for a spot on the senate, you must have at least 2 people who want you to be a senator. Votes for senate offices will take place on the 1rst of every month in the Republics own forum. There will be 2 senators for every citizen in the Republic so number of senators will vary.
